  1. I was the head of security that round; we managed to kill one operative and capture a second one until Hackied found their ship and was keeping contact with me, if I am not wrong, he said he would be able to disable their console, I thought he would fire lasers upon it (I found later that you can't destroy it by firing lasers at it), I said for him to do so and avoid getting in contact with hostiles. I also faxed central command to call for an ert, which never arrived. We had access to their channel and we did believe they were severely crippled due to the fight on the bridge and that only two hostiles were left.
  2. Security officer; patrolling with a partner or even staying at the lobby's desk with them can create some nice friendship and interactions. Besides, fighting antags and other things alongside is also nice. Yinzr's work at sec resulted in him having several friendships with other characters. Engineering; people seems to be very welcoming there, mostly when you want to learn and etc. Miner is also not a bad job. When I played it, Aaron had a lot of interactions with other miners and the cargo crew, besides being well know by the crew. There is a great bound when miners works together to turn their outpost into a fortress. Also, lore and character's backgrounds can be a good tool,since, you have something to talk about and aim to develop characters.

    Summon Guns.

    If I am not wrong, at tg, when the wizard uses this spells, he get more one extra choice on the others spells, so he can have more chances against armeds enemies.
  4. How is that character an ipc or even a cyborg? I don't see anything on her backstory that implies such.
  5. From the wiki page; So, only traitor and nuclear operatives would fit in it, also I if I am not wrong, Frances did her report while in a changeling round.
  6. What about the second time which ended with people being killed?
  7. Besides flashing someone that had a lethal weapon, which could get your character hurt, I just think that stripping someone naked on spot is also really unrealistic, not to say powergamey. Besides, having sec training is not an excuse to act like an officer or don't call for security help.If you don't take armed people seriously, if they are insane or not, you will get killed which is what happened at the round.Also, he was an antag, by the rules, he was free to use any tool he could to stop sec, like pushing them. Also, people were yelling murderbone on deadchat, while they were the ones trying to fight a guy armed with a revolver with a taser or a flash. I don't really know what people expect when they try to fight people that only have lethals,that they try to push them or use the weapons they have? If try to punch a guy with gun, I am pretty sure he is going to use the only weapon he has.
  8. Energy swords are actually able to block melee attacks and even ranged projectiles, like bullets, lasers and tasers. However, they can't stop a stun baton, like pretty much anything.
  9. The Morphic Clerical Kit is a traitor item which would allow antags to fake signatures, stamps and paperwork at all. It is a box that contains a stamp that can take any shape, a pen that can change its color and if possible fake signatures and with other things like a hand labeler and wrapping paper. So, if your nuke team plans to be a NanoTrasen inspection team, they can come with a paper with the stamp of central command itself allowing them.
  10. That is rather easy to deal with, don't get caught as antag, or do something else rather than going around shooting people with a gun or cutting their heads off with wirecutters while they try to type.
  11. Login: Agent Y Password:******* >Login accepted Hegemon Shadow Service Victory is the Honour Both agent Y, myself, and agent M were deployed in a NanoTrasen research station. My initial plan was to seize more access to help us in our mission. I had the bad luck to be spotted by the chief medical officer while infiltrating inside the bridge, however I managed to escape from them and keep my cover. Later, I went into contact with the agent M, which stole several boards related to the artificial intelligence and other kind of technologies. Later we stormed the bridge to secure several high-risk items and other crew members of certain importance. However, the Nanotrasen emergency team was on board, we fought against them, in a last stand inside the bridge. Agent M was killed in battle, fighting for the hegemony, while I send this last message in a cell before I end myself before such shame. However, the boards are hidden in the depths of the NanoTrasen mining asteroid's caverns, you will have their coordinates. Agent Y Signing off
  12. Also robotics storage, which is like the cryo dorms.
  13. If I am not wrong, at bay, enough burn damage to a limb can just turn it into ashes.
  14. What about martial arts?
  15. BYOND Key: Alberyk Character name: Sslazhir Yinzr Item name: heirloom unathi mantle Why is your character carrying said item to work? Because the mantle was give by his grandfather, the leader of his clan, after he defeated his first opponent in a fair unathi duel. Yinzr’s clan is supposed to have a long history of being loyal warriors to the hegemony and believing in the traditional ways of the unathi culture. The mantle itself would be an heirloom from his clan’s history with the Izweski Nation. An honor duel to solve disputes would carry an important meaning, besides that would mark a kind of rite of passage for a male of his clan. And due to being a formal wear, he would like to wear this while being on work. Besides the history behind the duel and the item involves other characters, not only Yinzr himself. Item function(s): It would be like a suit, going into the exosuit slot. Also, no protection value in game, in code blue and red Yinzr would wear the security armor anyway. Item description: A withered mantle sewn from threshbeast's hides, the pauldrons that hold it on the shoulders seems to be the remains of some kind of old armor. Item appearance: It would be a longer unathi hide mantle, but, on the shoulder and on the mantle’s pin there would be instead the remains of the armor, the pauldrons and gorget, used by the hegemony's soldiers before the invention of the breacher suit. Additional comments: Some fluff for it;
  16. That is why I love to add most charge and time as possible to people in extended, I don't really want to deal with an assistant that go around hacking doors, break into places and resist arrest, and at the end tell us her edgy backhistory of how her father was awful and chopped her mother's head and that is why she is acting like a chucklefuck or something.
  17. Certain tajaran mating rituals include shooting people with several different guns.
  18. That is a really, really, really stupid reason. Only antags should reach that level of being borged due to crimes. Being borged and following the laws and etc is rp, if antags are not here to rp, then what would it be? No one wants to be brigged, still, that is part of the game, as well being borged. Besides, if they don't follow their laws and use it to mess around, a synth ban would be in place. Next time he has to be borged and his brain don't fit inside the chassis? To bad, into the morgue he goes.
  19. Being borged is a punishment for escaping from holding already, and it is legal under Biesel. However, few hos and other command members allow this to happen, due to the fact that everyone seems to hate borgification for some reason.
  20. No, from the rules; Knowledge of the antagonists and Syndicate Items is restricted. And from the baywiki's link which this rule itself redirects;
  21. Research can deal with the slimes easily, if they have the resources to build the freezing ray or even use some slimes cores, or even atmos can cool it down. Besides, freezing the atmos around can be quite dangerous to unathi, which are not rare inside security. Use lockers, spiders can't open them. Besides, lasers are more than enough to kill those mobs. I don't know if heat can stop a blob, besides, tajaran crew.
  22. I also asked them if that was true, and I was even given different information by other trooper, Akela was also taunting all command staff, and Nasir was doing death threats, besides the talk about sabotaging engineering. So, my main plan was to drive them out of the pods, but, since she went out with a pistol set to lethal, it turned into a fight. It was a really long round and really stressed, I am trying to defend my point in why I did so, but, it is kinda hard to be ignored by most command, mostly the hos which were unable to report how was the situation, when the captain just gives ups and give you his position and ert which was more busy shooting cargo techs than telling what they did say or not. I did it in a heat of moment thing, it was a bad move in a round full of them. So, I do apologize for that stupid action of mine. Also, it seems that Nasir had a damaged lung due to the lack of the air in the pod.
  23. So, playing as RD, we are told by the captain about the directives, the same thing for rev rp. Then, I just stay at research doing my work, until the captain orders the construction of a Durand, without lethal weapons. Later, they call engineering to be terrorists, I didn't leave research most of the time. So, my character was mostly loyal to the command staff and their superiors, the only time I did leave was to cargo, to find out that the cmo was murdered and people broke inside research to steal weapons. I tried to contact the hos most of the time, but, she just mostly ignored all my questions. The chief engineer hides herself into the engineering outpost and keeps taunting the other members of the command staff over the radio, the medical odysseus is stole and the ripley went rogue. Then, after hours and hours, I give some more gear to the officers and the round goes on, I was mostly getting information by the command channel, since the common one was disabled, so, Amellia was unaware of most things and would make sense to stay loyal to the chain of command. At some point, people said that engineering did threatened to mess with the engine, and Nasir was doing death threats over the radio. ERT is called, I cooperate with them, and a shuttle is called. Both tajaran leave to the command escape pod,where they hide themself, they said that ert asked for them to take a pod. While before arriving at the station, they said that they would need to answer for it like the captain himself. I try to ask the ert, they ignore all the times I asked and one mention for them to move to departures. One trooper also says that there is a riot going on medbay. The brig was also bombed and people stole weapons from research. Also, she was in command, as said by the captain before stepping down. Then, Amellia was feeded up by that, since, some part of the people also behind that terrible shift would just avoid meeting with central command, unlike her and the other command members. So, I speak to them several times to come to departures, since, they were just refusing and ert was ignoring us for some reason. I got out and fire against their shuttle window, smashing it, one of them jumps out with an energy pistol and we trade shoots. Amellia did believe that there was a mutiny, but, since she had no real contact with the situation outside research, which was mostly calm, except by a rogue ripley drilling the walls around. So, icly my character had reasons to believe more in the command staff rather than others. Besides, one of her own scientists killed an officer and told her over the science channel. In the logs that nightmare posted, you can see that the window was smashed by the laser, which can be only broken by clicking right into it with lasers, so, I missed a lot of shoots due to the position, then one shoot hit the window, the air goes out and he slam on it, two more shoots break the grille and then, she goes out with an energy pistol. So, in the first time, I was never firing at them with the carbine, otherwise there would be the logs of them being hit by the blasts. Anyway, it was a really tiring round, and I did made mistakes by giving people too much gear, but, only, my character had reasons to believe they were terrorists, and not right as the captain or security was. It was not a good move, but, mostly result of a really tiring round, with a great lack of communication between the heads.
  24. You can be stunned by them in a hardsuit, but must be close to it and the stun time is quite short. So, hardsuits are a good protection against flashbangs.
