  1. Tajaran Union of Writers Bestows its First Literary Award 01.09.2463 The Tajaran Union of Writers, the organization responsible for supporting their brave writers, has issued its first literary award today. The Tajara People's Writer is a medal destined for the authors who have created exceptional works exalting the qualities of Hadiism and the Tajara; the commendation was created by President Hadii early this year. The recipient of the award was Bohumil Oyunsky, a writer from Mal'jor. Oyunsky's latest book, "Night of the Ha'rron", tells the story of a Hadiist family living under the unlawful occupation of Nated's rebels. The novels describe many of the Al'mariist's atrocities during the conflict: Hotak's indiscriminate killing of civilians, theft of private property, and all forms of banditry. The protagonists, holding dearly to President Hadii's promises of liberation, survive and endure these hard times. The story is laced with tragedy, drama, and depictions of the heroic nature of the common Tajara. The book ends with the family being rescued by the Grand People's Army and their allies. Despite being a fictional account, Bohumil researched thoroughly the events depicted in an attempt to remain as accurate as possible. "Night of the Ha'rron" was highly praised in literary circles because of its tension, historical fidelity, and Hadiist ideals. In a period where most authors prefer to use the First Revolution as a setting for their novels, the previous conflict has left much to be explored. Comrade Oyunsky was applauded for being a pioneer in depicting a modern and relatable setting to a younger audience. Party Secretary Yakiv Hadii, representing President Hadii, personally offered the award to Bohumil Oyunsky during a brief ceremony in Nal'tor. Minister of Education Kalim Khazdar suggested adding the "Night of the Ha'rron" to the national curriculum. During the event, Bohumil signed a copy that is later being gifted to President Hadii.

  3. You have been playing here for roughly one month. 43 days to be exact. You have around ten or so notes, and at least two temporary bans. Now why I think this is not a first time issue: If you were banned for this, why did you think that playing a straight-up Metal Gear reference would not get you punished? If you ahelped and no one said anything, it does not mean anything. The server rules are clear on that. I could not just get you away with a note or warning, since you a lot of notes and two bans in less than one month. I also explained clearly why I was banning you and the problems we had with your behavior. If you do not agree with this ban, I recommend that you make a staff complaint. I don't think I am going to lift this ban if you believe that what you did was not an issue.
  4. This week's teaser: Surgery: Cargo Office: Pool:
  5. Main reason why I don't think this is a good idea. For example, we had to add a rule because of a pr that allowed people to rename and change their custom loadout items. Any feature that requires some kind of extra moderation policing is not ideal. If anything, lore elements should have a proper representation. But it is a bit too early to make bold moves like adding species only factions when the nbt is not out yet.
  6. Liberation Army Research Division Reports Setback in the Nuclear Program The Liberation Army development department has delivered a worrying report on the situation of the nuclear program to the National Assembly today. Progress has halted in the past two months due to extensive equipment damage. Computers and the centrifuges used in uranium enrichment are breaking down at an alarming rate. The nuclear program has already spent most of its budget on repairs and replacement parts; at least one-third of the installations are currently inoperative. Liberation Army command suspect that this might be deliberate sabotage. To continue with the research, the development department asked for extra funds from the National Assembly. Ex-interim President Brajrr Alnadruskiy, speaking on behalf of the Free Tajaran People's Party, denounced the Hadiist state as the likely perpetrator of this attack; he urged the National Assembly to divert extra funds to the nuclear program. The Adhomian Blue Party urged Supreme Commander Nated to permanently close all installations, citing a possible meltdown risk. Commander Hotak suggested deploying his agents to investigate the personnel to identify any possible saboteurs. The National Adhomai Worker's Party agreed with offering more funds, however, they requested that technicians from the Shastar Technical University be brought to help identify the source of the problem. Rrhaza-Akhran Rahman Hadjuk blamed Hadiist spies in a long speech; he did not contribute any further to the discussion. Commander Muharajuurl Muhr'Fal supported the National Adhomai Worker's Party's plan. Ahem Kah'nrir went on a long tirade on how the alien powers were behind the breakdown; he claimed that they were using microwave rays deployed from satellites on Adhomai's orbit to damage the nuclear plants. After consulting with Supreme Commander Nated, President Almrah Harrlala proposed a solution to tackle the issue: besides offering extra funds, a commission of technicians involved in the Digitial Telecommunications Project and military researchers will be formed to localize the source of the malfunctions. The proposal also includes deploying the Adhomai Joint Intelligence Committee to investigate any possible foreign connection to the incidents; Supreme Commander Nated decided against using Hotak's Commandos because of the current civilian involvement. This proposal was quickly accepted by the National Assembly.
  7. We are currently considering another faction for cargo. If anything is decided we will post it here.
  8. Yes.
  9. After thinking a bit. I decided to deny this appeal. I do not trust you as a person. I do not think you belong in this community. Not even here or my dms when I told you about the ban you ever said you were sorry for what you did. You did not even point what server rule you broke. You thought you could just use the trust we gave to you to just share notes and trashtalk staff behind their back with your clique; you did this in the first day of your trial. I am fairly sure this was your intention from the very start. I am never going to unban you. Appeal denied.
  10. Yes.
  11. Application accepted.
  12. The backstory is interesting and has a great spin on the born off-world Tajara archetype. Some small questions so I can have a better grasp on the character's motivations and ideas. How does Fyodorov sees the DPRA and the NKA? Why exactly did he go to Adhomai as a volunteer? What were his motivations to do that?
  13. No. If a company is in a certain department, its members can pick any job from that department.
  14. Before I can consider this appeal, can you explain what you did wrong and what rules you broke?
  15. That can be solved by putting more explanations in game. You can also get the basic rundown of any corporation by going to select which one you want in the character creation setup.
  16. The lore team is working on lore updates to help justify this change. We will also have an in-character development to help people transfer their characters to the megacorporations.
  17. Undetermined for now. We do not plan to lift species restrictions.
  18. Okay. I will lift the server ban. Stop ban evading in the discord.
  19. The idependant will likely stay as it is. Uniform regulations will be changed to accommodate this change. Zeng hu has nothing to do with hydroponics as far I can see on its wiki page. Adding a new megacorp or faction is possible for service and cargo. However, we are not separating it by jobs, it will be by entire departments. Please read the first post.
  20. Probably not.
  21. We will discuss this later. But we are also not going to change command restrictions. Changed the main text to make this more clear by the way.
  22. As most of you might know, the NBT will be a ship owned by the scc, a union of most megacorporations in the setting. To better represent this and each megacorporation's themes, we have decided to change how departments are handled based on the faction/employer system we have currently in-game. In the NBT, every department will be handled by a group of megacorps instead of just having contractors and the main corporation. We will no longer have a base megacorporation that will be in all departments like we have atm with NanoTrasen. After talking with the staff, we decided on this: Every megacorporation here will have access to all jobs that a department has. The only exception will be command roles that will be all under their own employer, the SCC itself. This division was made so that no species will be restricted from playing any department. We do not plan to lift any megacorporation species restriction. The lore team is working on lore updates to help justify this change. We will also have an in-character development to help people transfer their characters to the megacorporations. Things that will be handled by the lore team to help people keep their characters in their jobs and departments: - Zavodskoi will get a new engineering subsidiary. - EPMCs will get a medical-related "subsidiary". - Species relations with the megacorporations will be revised and expanded to allow for more backgrounds. - In character news and events to help this transition and have people change the megacorporations without having to retcon things about their characters. Contractor uniform regulations will also be changed. Feel free to post your feedback, thoughts, and suggestions. This is subjective to change. Also, take into consideration that some jobs will be added and moved around. For example, robotics will likely be moved from science.
  23. This week's teaser Updated kitchen: Chapel: Medical Lobby:
  24. It has been more than a year and there is nothing else in your notes, so I will lift this. Appeal accepted.
