I don't see why not. You can post it, if you'd like - my intention was to make the Tajaran antagonism very inwardly focused. Unathi are raiding the Outer Rim, the Sol Alliance is on the brink of Civil War and wants to shit on Biesel, but the Tajaran are entirely focused on their own planet and problems - that's the kind of antagonistic behavior from them.

Well, the whole 'Tajaran terrorists' 'second-class citizen' is of the community's creation, not mine. They're on par socially more refined than Unathi - the only 'terrorist' thing they have done was bomb the human embassy on Adhomai. Secret police and information networks are more their style - the Catstapo, was it was. Plus, Tajaran antags can also be from the Liberation Army and try to muck things up to break off NT's support with the Republic. In the general sense, 'terrorism' was never really a thing the Tajaran inflicted on anyone but their own people, and that gave way to war and conflict. The antagonist is the government, and there's an incentive for hard feelings or dissension over the draft and harsh treatment of some Tajaran and the fact your commanding officers will execute you without hesitation if you flee from battle or desert your post. Adhomai is space Russia, and it is a terrible place to be - even under the Liberation Army, with administrative issues and soldiers who rape and pillage. Two sides of the same coin - they're polarized. What one calls ' arresting rioters' the other calls 'massacring peaceful protestors'. The Tajaran caught in the middle are hit the hardest.

Actually, Adhomai is more partial to electroswing, the blues, ragtime, big band and swing, and jazz - early onset of rock and roll and pop amongst younger generations. Just some examples.

Late, but - S'rendarr and Messa were the Tajaran deities on Bay when Mister Fox molded them from discarded fursuits and Meow Mix. I did not name them, nor did I feel the need to change some of the core Tajaran things - nearly everyone who knows of the Tajaran knows of their deities, and renaming them would cause unnecessary confusion. It's a reference, I guess, like half of the things in the game - it's harmless, I think.

Yes, I agree the comments about Aurora being a waste of my time were rude and probably unbecoming of a staff member; I shouldn't have allowed distaste to color my perceptions. You are also correct in saying that being haughty like that is also kind of rude. I maintain, however, that Aurora has become a bastion of roleplay that borders on low-to-medium, and vehemently disagree with the direction both administration and the server have gone; however, I will strive to word my disagreement more properly in the future. I, too, like Aurora. I wouldn't have put so much time and effort into coding and lore-writing if I didn't enjoy it here. It is merely tragic to see the ship you struggled to build sink rapidly with every passing hour. So I'll word my criticisms less harshly. Anything else, I have no comment on. It is 100% relevant when you want to throw accusations of me being 'rude' and 'toxic' and then be so yourself in the same breath. That, my friend, is called hypocrisy. The topic regarding the DNC was made in November; during my hiatus. No, I don't browse the forums. I have very little ties to the community here. I come on and approve whitelists and that's it. I don't have some deep-seeded curiosity about what you all do while I'm gone. I may have been on the server a few times, but didn't really play for long - and at no point was there an on-server announcement about changes. November was a month I was extremely busy in Eternia following Ana's death and other serious IC issues, so Aurora was the least of my concerns. RE: Being kind of rude; I don't hold my tongue, and I'm not going to disagree with you. However, I don't necessarily believe everyone has to get along and hold hands, and I don't see hostility and aggressiveness where necessitated and justified as a bad thing. I don't flower my words, and I don't sugarcoat them.

I followed IC; the guy came in and shot up security. Like I said, I wasn't aware that there was a change in the policy regarding security issuing DNCs - so I got hostile with the CMO when I wasn't in my authority anymore. I accidentally killed him, but its not exactly in-character to forgo and ignore all of what he did. If I had known security wasn't allowed to issue DNCs anymore, I wouldn't have fought back.

I threw a flashbang. If you check the logs, I threw one - it didn't work because you had the tactical hud glasses on, which are effectively sechuds and block flashbangs. My intent wasn't to kill the guy - Yinzr took my satchel; I was entirely unarmed save stun weapons. I had a revolver as evidence, which Yinzr took and used to down the suspect. The armory was open. I could have gone and gotten a lethal weapon, but I tried throwing flashbangs instead, which did not non-lethally incapacitate the subject. The only other weapons I had were a taser and baton, both ineffective at taking down someone in heavily armored tactical gear. Yinzr dropped him, I ran up and tried to get his e-gun away from him and clicked him on accident, too, given I was on harm intent it point-blank fired. What Tishina says is true.

Like I said, I didn't purposely mean to execute him. I clickspammed to get the egun out from under the same tile he was, was on harm intent, and ended up point-blanking him due to the lag. Alberyk corroborated such - and you can even see in the logs provided the complaints about the lag, and the pause between the fatal shot and me rping a 3-word emote; it was a mistake, but I ended up rolling with it. As for the DNC policy, I state again I didn't know there was a change. I've been gone for about six months, so I admit fault with that. But I don't think us shooting him to begin with was unreasonable escalation of force given he broke into the armory, ran out in tactical gear dual-wielding laser rifles and began shooting up security. There was no reason to return non-lethal fire when he was heavily armored and armed and dangerous.

Well, I mean, I picked up the e-gun and shot him at the same time accidentally. Between the lag, clickspam, and everything else - its why I stood there for about 30 seconds with a speechbubble trying to figure out what to do. Yinzr shot him 3 times in the chest with a revolver, he was gonna die anyway. The 30 or so burn from the laser finished him off. So I just rolled with it. Iunno what more you want me to say than that. As for whether it's not a security officer's call to make, yadda yadda, I don't agree nor disagree with that statement. Ana thinks highly of herself, so she made threats. I didn't know about the DNC change, I haven't played in more than four months. So shoot me in the foot or something. Whoops. I have no comment about one-and-two year old resolved topics dredged up for mudslinging - as more than half of those I apologised for and all ended up working out in the end. If you really want to go that far out of your way to scramble for something to give credence to your weird sort of metahate, I mean, I'm not gonna stop you.

It does not add anything. It is irreversible. It is stupid. Every single occasion I've ever seen it used is either spamming it in the halls to change people, or spamming it to piss off security when in custody. It offers nothing to the round.
