  1. Maybe a combination of making all batteries last 1.5x long, and character PDAs starting between 70 and 100% charge?
  2. I do wonder how the combat and medical changes planned for NBT2 will affect stuff like point-blank shots
  3. I imagine rich/posh characters would be harder since we're on some random ship that isn't as fancy as the Horizon, the flagship of the SCC is? What kinda avenues might there be?
  4. In regards to the money section, I'm wondering what you mean by it affecting the starting situations of the characters. Other stuff like the cleanliness of the ship, supplies and food make sense, but I'm wondering about that one.
  5. While the ship flying system and stuff in SS14 is cool, SS14 in general isn't really suitable for HRP. In addition to coders here likely not knowing about how SS14 coding works.
  6. Narasi: She agrees with deploying the net now, and moving to CES 146, that may work best at this point. Let the Malebranche be hit by the combination of the net and the rigged Coalition ship.
  7. Recently, Imgur has blocked access to users in the UK. This of course proves problematic for flavor text images (and records and stuff too) uploaded there, as players in the UK won't be able to see it. While a VPN can bypass this block, that isn't viable when playing on the server due to VPNs leading to false bans. While I do not imagine a formal suggestion will get accepted, I'm putting forth a request to those who do have flavor text uploaded on Imgur to upload it to another location. I have done some testing and it appears the forums can work as a location for this, including the gallery section.
  8. Narasi: She believes they should take the warp gate to CES 142 in the hopes of finding supplies there.
  9. Narasi: She would also consider the idea of trading some of our bluespace jump fuel for supplies from the ISS Lu'Nioh before we depart.
  10. Narasi: This one votes to move to CES 144 via the warp gate. She heard it mentioned on the radio, something about progress being made there. It would be worth checking out.
  11. More slots would be interesting to see, I agree. The implementation of it is tricky however. There may also sometimes be the situation of there not being enough for that many people to do. This came up when talking about the idea of a 4th hanger tech slot, there might not be enough for 4 hanger techs to do?
  12. Narasi: While she thinks there could something useful at Xar'qui 52, the risk of pirates being there is also a factor. They are already fleeing from one group of pirates so causing issues with another does not seem the best idea. She would think CES 144 may be better, and seeing if they can find supplies there. (Though I oocly vote for Xar'qui 52)
  13. A noticeboard on the bridge could be good (regular one, doesn't need the command locked one there) could go on this wall by the copier (the authentication device is in the XO's office so wouldn't be in the way)
  14. Narasi: While she does not think it is a great idea, if security forces think a raid on the Beta Marax I station can be pulled off, she supposes that could be done, then a bluespace jump past Xar'qui 52 to CES 144. That, or a jump right to CES 142 to investigate the signal there. Though, if the way to warp lane 1 is in Berkley 71, they would need to go to Berkley 72 and jump to it, or risk going via Xar'qui 52. (OOCly, I'd wanna see Marax I, then see if the pirates at xurqui 52 are a thing, but cannot justify that ICly)
  15. Narasi: Beta Marax I has a 200 year old Solarian propellant depot, however, it is infested with hivebots It also has a new, week-old signature coming from this station, what it is, is unknown. The hivebots pose a great risk, of course. She would leave it to security experts on if a raid is feasible. The other option is moving to Berkley 72 via warp gate, which has a warp link to Xur'qui 52, where they could investigate the signal there. Berkley 72 does not have a warp gate link to Xar'qui 51 or CES 142. She personally thinks that moving to Berkley 72 would be best, dealing with a infested station out here feels too risky, even with the possible promise of refuel and whatever this other signal may be.
  16. Narasi Perlyalna'Shirani (Bridge crew): Moving to Beta Marax II at first seems a good choice, they should see what that signal has for them, and then from there, decide if to move to Beta Marax I or Berkley 72.
  17. Perhaps they could be labeled as "short term filing cabinet" as well as a description addon that they do not save their contents between rounds
  18. That's true. It might have to be excluded from working in their offices
  19. Filing cabinets being able to save their contents
  20. That's what I'm saying about money yeah A gun at your back antag situation would be non canon, but how would that work with persistent money... While a robbery on extended would actually be canon, so there it would be okay for the money to be gone. Pausing persistent money for antag rounds would not really work out either however... since there are still plenty of interactions in the round that are still perfectly canon, assuming the antag is not involved. Buying food from the kitchen would still be canon. Being fined for littering would still be canon. Plus, an issue with pausing persistent money on antag rounds would mean it would hardly see use due to a majority of populated rounds on the server being antag one's.
  21. Persistent money/economy would need a LOT to think about how it would work, there are many issues there that would need to be solved, one being antags. Say an antag steals money from another crewmember, or a departmental account, that obviously isn't canon and shouldn't be Persistent. Security charges for antags are automatically deleted so something may be able to be done there, but a different issue is if the antag blackmails another crewmember (a non antag) to do it. This crewmember doesn't have any kind of automatic thing to delete antagonistic actions like an actual antag would, and in terms of a security charge, would need to manually delete it. How would something like this work for Persistent money...
  22. My thoughts here are On dirt: Blood should normally turn into generic filth, unless it is a canon round (maybe set via a special thing admins do?) Then the blood stays as blood. Certain areas are exempt from dirt persisting (maint, medical, crusher, xenobio) Trash/garbage items also persist alongside the dirt. Other ideas of persistent things I have are: Sticky notes. Write on them like paper, can stick onto walls. Graffiti you can carve into walls and floors with a sharp object. Can be cleared away with a welder.
  23. While I do not have issues with the name Huginn, and understand its ties as Odin's raven, I feel the rename isn't really worth it? Bubble as the name is more iconic and it feels a shame to move away from it after it has been in use for so long. Stuff that has been worked with that AI could still be pulled off with the name Bubble, outside of the raven things. Short suggestion, but, those are my thoughts on the matter.
