  1. Yeah, I would always have thought mining would get very good hazard pay. On another note, I'm curious as to what other stuff could be done after this in regards to economics stuff.
  2. Could I ask why the ipc lore team isn't interested?
  3. While I do like the idea of non-humanoid IPC forms, this way of it doesn't really feel like the right way.
  4. This is merged.
  5. It's not exactly a sop for a gamemode however, it's sop for expeditions/away missions, which can happen on other gamemodes then odyssey
  6. Someone on discord brought up that they thought the amount IPCs earned on this was too much? Adjustments for synths is some complex stuff I imagine.
  7. Miners and Xenoarch/Anomalist should likely have some of the highest hazard pay of any crew on the ship due to the dangers of their jobs, and the fact they are leaving the ship to go out into possibly dangerous areas regularly. I'd always headcanoned that miners get some good pay from the hazard pay of their job.
  8. The other issue is, the map is set up before the round starts, so a storyteller can't choose it since there are none yet.
  9. Yeah, something like risking tearing your stitches if you get hurt again.
  10. Perhaps the storage area could be at the back of the shuttle rather then all the way at the front?
  11. I think the storyteller should have a button to open storyteller assistant slots to give more ghostroles for storytellers extra pairs of hands, sets of eyes to help the ST with their stuff. In addition the storyteller needs an easier way to see who is what actor in aooc.
  12. With this, how would it be handled if there is something that needs to be said more privately to the agent, rather then right to the offender's face while they are in this group interview?
  13. Wouldn't the bluespace drive be a crossover thing too? While atmos does provide the fuel for it, actually configuring and controlling it might be for the engies?
  14. I would not want to see one of the existing slots converted to a learner, 100% no. Alt-title I wouldn't be so bad with, as long as there was a way to prevent all 3 slots being the interns.
  15. Title, basically. It would be useful for the Horizon's shuttles to be able to use distress beacons the same way as 3rd party ships. However, the not so simple part is that something would need to be in place to stop it being used in place of the Horizon's own distress beacon, and bypassing the two command ID swipe for that.
  16. How is IPC perma-death planned to be handled? If the Posibrain is able to be recovered or not, etc, and if it might have any permanent damage from being damaged.
  17. I feel as if IPCs keeping full on radiation immunity wouldn't be great, and the radiation lingering is just gonna lead to others becoming irradiated. Different levels of resistance for different frames could work out however.
  18. does this mean shells will have ways to trick stuff like suit sensors and health scanners/huds?
  19. Reporting Personnel: Zohra Hanar Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Security Officer Game ID: cwm-dGM6 Personnel Involved: Auil'suos-Fedas Qeryuli, captain, offender Qali-Shuugl Jory'Guiixnul, chief engineer, offender Leon Boileau, bridge crew, offender Samantha Gallagher, investigator, victim and witness Cohle Wyrnn, security officer, witness, talked to him about incident. Secondary Witnesses: Time of Incident: Latter part of the shift. Real Time: 2:00-2:15am GMT Location of Incident: Cafeteria, Bridge. Nature of Incident: [X] - Workplace Hazard [X] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [X] - Neglect of Duty [X] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [X] - Misconduct [X] - Other - Violation of Regulations Overview of the Incident: Part way through the shift, there was a sudden call to evacuate the cafeteria, it turns out the room had been breached by space dust, which lead to several crewmembers being injured by the decompression. It was found out that the ship's shields hadn't been up while flying through a dust cloud, which lead to the breach. As the shift continued, they heard that the captain had spoken with the crewman piloting at the time and 'handled it internally' (rather then security handling the charge and effectly pardoning the pilot of their negligence) and refused to let this one and Samantha speak with the crewman. The captain was rather rude to them at that time. As the shift was ending they heard that the chief engineer was agreeing with the captain about the situation being handled internally, and the captain was again rather rude to them on the situation. They were speaking to Cohle about the incident, and he spoke to the captain on the radio, in which the captain claimed they would be happy to allow HR to mediate on the questioning of the chain of command. They did have a chance to take to Leon at shift-end, and he told them that the captain had ordered him to fly through the dust with shields down. Submitted Evidence: Would you like to be personally interviewed?: [X] - Yes [ ] - No Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: All heads of staff on shift were offenders in this IR. Actions taken: None could be taken. Additional Notes:
  20. That oasis planet outpost really needs to have the outdoors made so it isn't always pitch black/night time
