How then, can we speak about confidential, command-only things, such as the ones posted recently in the command section, outside of joining as offduty on the server?

This has been implemented in https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/18279

I believe it can be made so languages can't be spoken by certain species Could sinta'unathi be made unspeakable by humans so the idea of a load out book for it could then work?

give engineers/scientists access to telecomms

engineers have access to the leviathan, which is another super sensitive piece of equipment with all sorts of waivers and NDAs and stuff. -
I wonder if sol consulars did return, if they would be more heavily scrutinzed and watched icly at first, with more restrictions Maybe forbidden from carrying a weapon unlike other consular as one thing

There's a system on CM for moving up/down those platforms, perhaps that can be ported

perhaps move the firelocks to the bottom of the stairs, to allow the windows to be moved over one tile, so they match with the office on the other side either that, OR move these windows to the left by one, which would also make it match. -
Sadly may not always be command around In which case no sensors for you, person can't be found

I wonder if that is even intentional, it says about having a limited battery life but it randomly shutting off seems like a bug.

Perhaps mirror the layout of one consular office like how the liason offices are mirrored? -
this may be able to be done if nebula's system of them was ported, that apprantly has the sensors as a physical item, and that could be only given to some jobs
-
agreed, this being merged without a feedback thread is not good, should be changed back. either that or generalcamo said of a system nebula has, which makes suit sensors into an item that can be attached to any clothing.

Seems pretty cool! one idea I have is putting a railing along here to make the XO line into more of a lining up area. the other idea was for two corp reps as well as consulars, though I don't know where the second office could go, unless the corpreps shared, which is more feasable then consulars sharing. Perhaps curtains to close off the halves if needed? -
Hepth being the only option for tajara means that anti-hept tajara, kinda just... can't be in engineering without betrayal Himean tajara for example, just can't be in engineering without being marked for treason Operations had the same issue during the planning of the NBT, prior to Orion being added

So there have been issues in the past of never-seen captains sometimes showing in events before, blocking out a better known captain character who is actually active from showing up. Reserved important roles for events would help solve this. When the event is announced, there would also be a way to contact event staff to reserve the role, likely also with a check to see if the character in question is actually a command member who has been seen before and nor just a "event only" one, as they are sometimes known as. With aurora having a command whitelist. This would be a good incentive against going against the reserved role and trying to join anyway, as the whitelist holder could lose it for such a thing. I'm unsure how much outside of the command roles would be reservable, consular and liason too perhaps?
