  1. Idea for persistence: equipment/machinery maintenance. Slowly, over rounds, there would be some number on the ship's various equipment and machines that ticks down, randomly and/or from use. It would give a warning on the particular machine when the number is low, saying maintenance is required, and the machine would cease functioning when the number hits zero. Engineers, machinists, tech support for some things? would be the ones to come by to perform maintenance, needing the right skills, plus possible materials/parts to do so depending on the equipment, which would reset the number on that equipment
  2. The size of the crew management UI needs to be smaller, I feel. Maybe split stuff up into tabs for easier use rather then sticking everything onto one huge interface
  3. Reporting Personnel: Narasi Perlyalna'Shirani Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Bridge Crew Game ID: cGw-dlk9 Personnel Involved: Liam Maclagan - Shaft Miner Narasi Perlyalna'Shirani - Witness, spoke to the miner on radio. Time of Incident: Around 01:00? Real Time: Not sure, between 10:30 and 11PM GMT I think Location of Incident: SCCV Spark Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [ ] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [X ] - Misconduct [ ] - Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: The Horizon had made its way to orbit of Tartarus following triangulation of the location. This one was sitting in the bridge meeting room as the command team was holding a meeting and preparations were underway, when she heard a ping from the bridge. She stepped out to check it and noticed the Spark had undocked. She called out on hailing and the miner replied, first of all saying he was going to do some mining, but after telling him to return some more he did so. With Tartarus being the only location nearby, that is where he must have gone to. Given the danger of the location, the miner leaving without any notice whatsoever, or any filing on the shuttle manifest was in very poor conduct and could have ended extremely poorly. She will also note there have been situations of other miners in the past departing without any sort of notice. Submitted Evidence: Radio logs would show the conversation with the miner. Would you like to be personally interviewed? [X] - Yes [ ] - No Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why? Alessia Marino, the captain, overheard of the miner having left due to having access to the radio, as did the rest of command and bridge crew on that shift. Actions taken: No actions that she was aware of were taken due to preparations for the larger mission being underway. Additional Notes:
  4. Name: Narasi Perlyalna'Shirani Job: Bridge Crew Content: Her greetings, she has a few logs copied from some computers from the past couple of days, she will post them here for everybody to see. The first ones are from a pod that had crashed on an asteroid. And the second set are travel logs from the distressed ship we went to on Wednesday.
  5. Map some stasis cages (/obj/structure/machinery/stasis_cage) in for research use (think they need net gun tools for use too possibly?)
  6. With the pants slot existing, stuff should be put in place to have it properly be made use of. While I can imagine existing stuff will be changed over in time, I am suggesting adding a policy that any new clothing items being added that represent a shirt and pants must be split into the shirt and pants items. Let's say someone wants to add a new uniform that is ICly a shirt and pants, under this policy, they wouldn't be allowed to add it as a singular item (as current uniforms are), they would have to submit it as separate shirt and pants items, meanwhile if someone added a new jumpsuit, for example, that would be allowed to be a singular item as it is a singular piece of clothing. Sorry if the way I worded this sounds awkward, I was thinking how to have it make sense.
  7. Name: Narasi Perlyalna'Shirani Job: Bridge Crew: Content: Reply to Jaquelyn Roberts Perhaps this is related to what she heard at the Lounge, the fighting that is taking place at Meropis.
  8. Something similar TG has is https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/pull/89358 this, the captain can broadcast themselves to screens around the stations there with a special camera.
  9. Name: Narasi Perlyalna'Shirani Job: Bridge Crew Content: This one learned a little bit of information about Meropis from somebody at the Starlight Lounge. There is a colony on a desert planet there, supposedly two factions there have broken out into warfare, the 'Loyalists' and the 'Modernists'. She did not hear more then this, but they had said it was an area to avoid, so that is something for everybody to note.
  10. Agreed, reducing the amount of blur could help a ton
  11. Name: Narasi Perlyalna'Shirani Job: Bridge Crew Content: In addition to the above, a third party individual (The owner of a yacht) that had come from or visited the Starlight Lounge was spoken to. Supposedly, phoron trading happens at the station, which is also frequented by pirates. There is also some form of leadership structure there.
  12. Smuggling drugs off ship to sell at a port, if caught, WILL get your character put into prison, most likely. This has happened with someone else's character in the past.
  13. Name: Narasi Perlyalna'Shirani Job: Bridge Crew Content: As the Sea will be more dangerous compared to the Crescent Expanse, and the fog will likely block even our EBS system, we will need to consider what mistakes may have been made there and how to avoid them this time.
  14. This has happened in the past. Characters who have been arrested many times might eventually be fired by CCIA.
  15. Yes, perhaps if something like multiple piloting skill levels were added. well, in an emergency, maybe the miner *could* pilot the Horizon. They might struggle at it due to not having knowledge of such a large craft, and things may go wrong, but it may be better then no pilot at all.
  16. Couple of ideas for education additions some kinda pilot education that gives you piloting skill + some others? Some low level engineering stuff for basic stuff in the shuttles a pilot would be expected to do? Corpo trained sec officer education. Similar to police academy but some stuff a bit different? Stuff can also be a bit rough for some heads like OM. One with the finance background for example uses up ALL of their occupational points on piloting.
  17. I don't think NT can get into Engineering as that is already in 3 departments (service, med and sci), and with the ruling that a corp can only be in 3 departments, that would not be too possible... Orion express, however?
  18. One idea came up on the discord of allowing officers to pick their sidearm in some way. Making it similar to the token miners get could be interesting, they insert a token into a vending machine and can pick which sidearm they receive between a pistol and a revolver. The option of a taser as a third selection could also be interesting.
  19. A reminder that UK players cannot see flavor text on imgur.

    1. Skull132

      Skull132

Maybe that's a blessing for them?

  20. I recall the armory on the Aurora was split in two? I think it was LTL and lethal?
  21. A return to having the .45 pistol and the taser gun would be interesting to see.
  22. In regards to the payment system changes, info on the programs that an order was paid for by department account rather then the person's own account would be useful. It currently still says it is paid for by X person even if the departmental payment is used.
