Move cargo orders from the database to the codebase

A PR for this is up. https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/20030 -
Adjust the regulations on shuttles departing.
greenjoe replied to greenjoe's topic in Policy Suggestions
It wouldn't be adding requiring permission, just adding the requirement to announce you are departing. -
The current regulations on shuttles allow someone to silently depart the Horizon with no notice. This feels rather silly and kinda unbelievable. I feel it should be adjusted so that at the very least you need to announce the shuttle is departing on hailing or common, and perhaps also fill some basic details into the shuttle manifest.

Title says it all, this went fine for the relay, so having the lore channels over on the main discord would be good.

Why no People's Republic of Biesel Hadiism for the win

It's possible the planters are raised somewhat so it may be reasonable for them to be able to do it?
-
Giving this a bump, hoping changes can come into place. In addition, there are a few jobs I think would be fine with being heavily mobility impaired. Pharmacists Regular Scientists. And Xenobotanists. All three of those jobs seem like they would be fine to be done by a character in a wheelchair.

Machinist Specific Protolathe -- Inventory Community Poll
greenjoe replied to Noble Row's topic in Suggestions & Ideas
Maybe move the mining minecarts stuff from the miner vendor to the machinist making them? -
in regards to this, there's a good article that was posted on tumblr about disabilities in a futuristic setting here.

There's plans for maps to have randomized parts, so it wouldn't be possible to remember

Wonder if there would be some kinda IC expanation for how the camera footage is un-doctor-able

Add a pest gun to the bridge for dealing with carp.

To add on to this, I'd feel that pharmacists should be allowed to be heavily movement impaired, one that uses a wheelchair should not be an issue.

Reporting Personnel: Malika Jrruzhani Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Physician Game ID: cuo-dHnS Personnel Involved: Lysandra Dawn, warden - offender Malika Jrruzhani, physician - witness Nira Sawant, paramedic - witness, retreived the warden Ren Hartfort, surgeon - witness Yekta Nazeri, pharmacist - witness Secondary Witnesses: Yasir Kra'jun, security officer - witness, was briefly questioned on the legality of carrying a pistol outside of a raised alert. Real Time: around 2:50am GMT Location of Incident: Medical bay Nature of Incident: [X] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [X] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [X] - Misconduct [ ] - Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: Towards the end of the shift, there was a call of help from the warden in science, who was sounding drunk, slurring words, Nira Sawant went to retrieve the patient, and reported of no MSOF and stable vitals. On arrival, this one took a breath sample, to see a blood alcohol content of 0.31, which is extremely high. Ethylredoxrazine was administered to help deal with this alcohol poisoning, and as it was working, they noticed the warden still had their belt and holster on them. Looking at the holster, it was seen that it had a .45 pistol in it, loaded with a rubber magazine, and the safety turned off. The alert level was also code green. Questioning officer Kra'jun, they found this was against protocol. In addition to that, carrying a weapon while drunk is a extremely poor thing to do. At this point the warden had passed out, and the shift had come to an end. Would you like to be personally interviewed?: [X] - Yes [ ] - No Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: No heads of staff were on shift. Actions taken: The shift ended before anything further could be done. Additional Notes:

Move cargo orders from the database to the codebase
greenjoe replied to greenjoe's topic in Suggestions & Ideas
The code already supports codebase sided cargo orders so it would not need new things coded in, would need moving the database cargo list to the codebase Edit: or maybe not? Might have mistaken for another codebase -
As the title says, moving cargo order lists from the database to the codebase would be an improvement. If they were in the codebase, anyone would be able to look at them via github without needing to get ingame, join as a character and look on a cargo console, or ask someone with access to the DB about it. It would also be good to be able to add to the list this way too, a PR can be made, then anyone with approval control can approve it to be added via github.

Misc Policy; Headmin/Dev Elections, Complaints, etc.
greenjoe replied to dessysalta's topic in Policy Suggestions
Yes, I had a issue with my complaint being "not possible" due to all headstaff being involved. I do wonder how something like that could be handled however, since someone who isn't involved would need to take the complaint, and if all headstaff are involved, there is nobody with the power to do that. -
A few camping items: /obj/item/tent /obj/item/tent/big/scc (should cost more, larger tent) /obj/item/sleeping_bag /obj/item/material/stool/chair/folding/camping /obj/item/material/folding_table

This feels like it would be really odd to explain ICly
-
Having an emissive glow on the camera would be a neat idea and one thing to help it stand out too
-
There is already code in the game for helmet cameras, so I imagine it should not be something too hard to implement
