This people are quick to complain in ooc if officers enforce regulations and it usually goes into a blue wall ooc about shitcurity even though noone really knows the situation so why bother then if its not worth the trouble

I was banned because I "wordlessly ran up and shot ruul" What really happened however is that Ruul had a warrent out because he was seen assaulting a cadet who reported "he blacked out" though a witness reported an assault and therefore we were actively hunting him. Coenraad reported the same thing and when i went around the corner and saw them together so i wanted to point my taser at him but the first time i forgot sto switch aiming modes and shot him once after that i aimed my laser at him and he ept moving maybe like 4 or 5 times so he kept getting reflexively shot, if i didint know better it would seen he actually wanted to get shot. So no. I didint just run up and unload, ruul clearly didint want to be aimed at eventhough i had a reason to and during that I clearly couldnt talk to him eventhough every time i tried to talk he moved and got shot so after this happened a few times i understanably thought he didint want to rp the situation so I took him down. Also Shestrying basically asked me the same question 5 times, ignored my answers then banned me because I had notes. So basically I am being banned because ruul didint want to stop moving while being aimed at which is absolute garbage if anything ruuls player should at least get a verbal warning not to move when aimed at but its clearly easier just to ban me for a week because the lore dev didint want to roleplay or at least thats what it feels like to me

a singular mercenary that spawns on station, or have someone with the prefs on suddenly get a wiz apprentices power or even traitors with half tc activate all in the same round. As the round goes on maybe 3 or 4 of these different "mini" antags activate and if the characters roleplay it and dont just murderbone it could be interesting and would create a lot of interaction although a bit more hectic than regular secret Im suggesting it as a replacement for secret but maybe just another round type entirely.

Ive only really had experience with Que Tup'Xequal'Valurex with m sec character. A solid officer but at times a bit quiet when it comes to communicating. RP is pretty good as well and the character understands its place within the lore. +1 -
eh, annoying someone over and over for the same exact thing is hardly the basis of a friendship as far as "taking it so seriously" goes im not the argument that making someones job brain numbingly boring creates interaction is just stupid and its the same garbage argument that gets repeated over and over regardless of what someone is proposing

You cant seriously tell me having someone come several times a shift asking you for the exact same thing over and over is somehow beneficial and generates "rp" because it isint and it doesnt the only thing it generates is boredom and frustration. By your logic we should just remove the autoloathe all together and open up sweatshops where people could do the mind numbing task of hand crafting everything for the sake of rp

It is ive had scientists straight up tell me no when i as for something from the autoloathe besides you cant deny that people coming to ask for the same gear over and over is going to get real old real quick

What about a "shoe mold" thing for forensics that could tell what tipe boot it was as well as whether the person is likely male or female

As far as the scientist lab gear goes i was thinking something along the lines of a holodeck with dangerous mobs to test there combat and healing abilities as well as a chute for throwing in proto humans which come with the deck at round start. As well as a sort of microphone the scientists can interact with. I was thinking the different rooms could be seperated by danger as well as be copies of rooms in the aurora (libraries etc)

eh, "Detectives, Investigators, Researchers, and Psychologists all have the task of dealing with post-imprisonment/capture characters." they dont though and what i was suggesting is more a ooc role than a ic one "This is more mechanical, then actually roleplay intensive." What im suggesting is mechanics that allow the study of things like lings and wizards hence generating rp, you dont go to medbay for the rp you go if you need them the rp is a part of it. "Or we could just sedate them heavily, or cyborg them, or put them in isolation." thatll sure to generate worlds of rp "Uh, how about just pay someone to save you, and RP with them?" if someone were to accept money then go into sec hack doors and kill officers that would be considered self antagging im pretty sure unless you mean other tators who likely isint going to stick out there necks for some rando "Or don't get caught in the first place." the good old git gud argument, as a traitor you are likely to get caught thats just how it is since the odds arent in your favor, if you have never gotten caught as a traitor because youre so good then good job but then more than likely you are unqualified to post here since this is a non issue for you.

Does/did being an admin/mod make the game harder for you to enjoy? what I mean is that you get to see behind the vail and (probably) have a deeper understanding of how things work (codewise/mechanic wise etc) than a regular player does as well as being aware of a lot of the conflicts and complaints players have in a round a lot of which likely unpleasant also you can bring up any ones history via notes and get a rough idea of what tipe of player they are so its not really the same as getting to know someone icly. Does any of these things hamper the enjoyment you get out of the game?

sorry for taking so long to get back I thought id leave that up to the devs as I have no real idea what is hard and what is easy to implement but ill give some examples of things that might further interaction. Maybe a role whose a Job it is to handle after capture interaction with antags if it is applicable, this can include various antag and mob related spawning powers. This role could serve as a game master of sorts and their agency could even allow them to spice things up if the rounds going to quiet and create a sort of narrative with a admins permission first. Antag specific lab gear which will allow the "study" of things like wizards and lings A dociler implant which locks someones intent on help and makes them unable to fire weapons, this could be given to people who are just being shitters and attack sec every chance they get and are trying to escape with no hope and who can then be released. A syndicate sleeper agent role that is a purchase on the uplink which when bought activates someone whos objective it is to save the person who bought it if they get caught
