This sums it up. You do what you're told, to the death. Imagine ants or bees. They do their duty without any sort of care, defending the hive if ordered to, suchlike. When a queen abt dies, the ants usually continue carrying out the last 'command' they were given until they starve to death, or lose all sort of purpose and wander aimlessly. Take examples: A) Superior says, "Go into this airless room and stay there." As you know it's airless, and haven't been told not to, you put your internals on so you can live to serve your superior whilst inside. B) Superior says, "Go into this room and stay there without internals." Your superior has told you not to use internals, so you obey your superior, walk in, and happily suffocate to death. C) Superior says, "Do what the fuck you want, prawn." You stand around aimlessly until someone gives you something to do. You have no free will, you exist to serve. Imagine: Cyborgs, but without free thought. That is actually a really cool way to think of bound Vaurca. It almost makes me want to actually want to play as one.

I have not experienced this as an issue very often but, I am not against it at all as it makes sense.

I am thinking that he is asking about Super Facists that are admiring the Nazi group? I don't really feel like Space Nazis should be a thing though. And what Canon said, the closest you will get to Space Nazis is ATLAS which is a human group the feels that Humans are superior to all other species.

I was the Captain this round. Now, this round was a very bad round for Security in general. There were lots of things that happened that made it turn out with the demotions of Security members. I do not feel whatsoever that any OOCly punishment should be taken as it was basically finished up ICly with the detainment and demotion of Josen Keelin and the demotion to be of Marc Price.

Ahh yes, I was the CCIA during that round and she did indeed make burned food and poison food as a Security Officer who hopped the counter. She was slightly dealt with in IC. (Basically me throwing her out and having her demoted) One of the VIPs were sent to Medbay because they became sick.

The hostages are said to be safe and back with their families at this point in time. The men who took the hostages are said it be detained and questioning will begin soon. Beginning Of A New Year As the people of Elyra also follow the calendar that is based off the Sol System, the people are celebrating the turn into a new year, 2458. Many people have said and still believe that 2457 was not our best year and hope to make 2458 a better one. We will see how things turn out. Mining Accident As the workers were constructing the mining base on the asteroids off of Persepolis, a rogue rock crashed into the living areas for the workers causing mass venting of the complex. Reports say that there have been mass casualties. Relief efforts have been started in order to evacuate the areas affected by the venting. Progress should continue after the breach is fixed.

Elyra News Network “For Greatness, We Strive” Hostage Crisis 12.29.2457 Hostage Crisis During the riots that happened outside of the Parliament building on Persepolis a few days ago, a group of terrorists broke into the building and kidnapped four of the members that were there. Negotiation attempts have been made with the terrorists to bring back the people unharmed and as soon as possible. The authorities have yet to release the names of those kidnapped and we have little information besides this. Demands are said to be very high and we hope that they will be able to be met. More updates soon. Tensions Lowers Tensions on Medina, Bursa and Edirne have all reached an all time low. No one is able to really figure out why it has happened but there is a noticeable change in the public attitude. Things have all gone back to business as usual. Re: Axe murder: It wasn't literal axe murder, he used an arm blade out in a public hallway. Also yes, I was present when Rin chased you around with a stun baton. By then I'd kind of decided to keep my head down and sort it out at Odin, particularly with the AI going ballistic. Alright, that probably was a good choice keeping your head down honestly. Apprehending you just caused more problems, honestly. I don't necessarily think you did something OOCly unreasonable mind you, and it was clear to me in our communications that your character had some reason to trust the HoS. My character (IAM) implicitly trusts the AI unless given a reason to do otherwise, so he took it at face value and later had somebody (Kala) come running up to him begging for help because the Commander had just axe murdered the Warden and Detective in the middle of the hall. He wouldn't have chosen to arrest you, but didn't interfere with it until Odin to get the AI to cooperate. Simultaneously, since the AI knew for a fact that the HoS was a multiple murderer at that point and you kept interfering in safe handling of him, I do not think its actions were unreasonable even if they were hindering. Alright, with this... I really didn't even know what was happening during the end of this round and was just wanting it to be over. But I don't think I caught the part where he murdered two people with an axe. When I entered that room though I wanted both the HoS, Rin and anyone else involved with the incident in that room detained for questioning at Odin. ((At that time I finally figured it out that the HoS was the murderer)) But I was still unsure if he was the murderer as Rin said something about him vomiting spiders which logically I wouldn't believe so I ordered all of their arrests. When I said that the AI announced that no one was leaving until both I and the HoS were detained so I went to the HoS Office to unlock Security and Rin came in chasing me with an active stun baton saying "Fuck you" ((I am pretty sure IAM was there when that happened)) I will say that I have a bias against Rin as I frankly do not like her as a character one bit. I sort of understand why I am arrested as it looked bad with the lack of communication that I was providing between the Command staff and Security but I assure you that we agreed that letting the HoS out for now was the best course of action. Basically there was a huge miscommunication going on. I had no idea what was going on and I am sure many others didn't know what was happening either.

Pestov showed up out of nowhere and recalled the shuttle without consulting with either of us, so do not talk to me about not talking things through. 2. I don't care what you think of me. Call me a brute all you want, and all I will do is continue to watch the salt as I sip my bourbon. I don't get along with everyone, nor do I expect to get along with everyone. Realistically, you can't expect to get along with everyone. Yeah, Jim's a bit of a paramilitary, especially since he spent his career in military and paramilitary occupations. He's not supposed to be a cuddly sort; he's supposed to be a bit bitter and antagonizing, to an extent, but he is not a traitor. If he sees something that's not right, he's going to take a stand, however I can't remember a single rev round in which I've sided with anyone other than Security. 3. You act as though you know me well, but I assume it's the salt flowing through your veins, hombre. Honestly, I've never encountered you before. 4. I'm not a doctor, so therefore I have no patients. I just want to comment on this, for Number 1, the only reason I said for the shuttle to be called is I already sent a fax to CC ((It wasn't in format as I didn't have time)) about calling an Emergency Medical Team and I said it is person as well. I ended up saying just call the shuttle when you two started fighting. I knew that the ERT was what we needed but we couldn't get it called as we weren't able to stay awake long enough to coordinate one and I guess I was drowned out in the groaning and arguing.

Here is what happened from the Captain's point of view. I only went off of IC knowledge and what my character knew at that time and tried to make the best decisions out of it. It is just a quick overview of what happened. I really didn't go into specifics. As a final note I will say that I am not mad about what happened during the round and I am only putting things that my character would know ICly. OOCly wise of course I knew that the Commander was a Changeling but the issue is I could not be brought enough IC evidence to back the claim that he murdered the IAA. She was then offered a job by Nanotrasen due to her advanced knowledge in many fields. What do you like about this character? In my mind she is a strong leader and very intelligent. She is very accepting to new races that are discovered and quick to put her trust into them. I am liking how she is turning out so far. How would you rate your role-playing ability? 7/10 I still have a bunch of things that I can improve on but I believe that I am a pretty strong roleplayer. Notes: I will say this, my backstory for this character is not very strong at all at this time. I noticed that my choices as the Captian are being brought up here quite a bit. I will not post my reasonings for what Valorallen did here. If you wish to know why I did what I did and how it can be justified PM me. But this should stay on topic with the people who the complaint is about.

I was the Captian for this round, while I will say this round was pretty bad all around, you did go and kill the HoS at Odin which no matter what, all conflict needs to stop once the shuttle docked. If the HoS broke out, the staff would have dealt with is accordingly. It was a blatant break of the rules there.

Their attempts were barely stopped by the guards of the building. The Parliament is going to be closed for the time until the things on Persepolis finally slow down. Exclusive Interview Hello, this is Ramira Morat holding a very special interview with Prime Minister of the Republic of Elyra, Rasheed Tatenda. The following will be the key parts of the very long interview. Morat: It is good to be here Minister Tatenda, we will begin our interview now. As I am sure you have been having to deal with for some time now, Nanotrasen; What is your plan on dealing working things out? Tatenda: Now, I will say that I /do/ have a plan to work out with Nanotrasen, I am unable to share this with you at this time but, I am working on working things out peacefully. There is no need to bend to their attacks. Morat: Very well, it gives all of us peace of mind that you do have some sort of plan. Next question. Do you feel that the Elyran people who are in the ranks of Nanotrasen are under any threat by Nanotrasen if say, complete hostilities broke out between us? Tatenda: Now, that is an important question that is sadly unknown to us at this time. But I am sure Nanotrasen won’t do anything to their workers. We will hopefully not need to worry about that as we are working out things diplomatically. It will all work out without the Elyran people being put through any suffering. Morat: Now, I know it is your duty to defend the Elyran people but, how do you feel personally about Nanotrasen. Tatenda: I have no hate for the employees of Nanotrasen. The people that we do not get along with are the leaders of the Corporation who are pushing themselves into our uncorrupt nation trying to corrupt it with their greed of money and plasma. The workers have nothing to do with their actions. Morat: That is an interesting but probably true statement. Now, this is an important question. Will things escalate into further violence or will Elyra be able to make Nanotrasen leave us alone? Tatenda: That is something we may not know until it is too late. But I doubt Nanotrasen would use any of their Security force to invade us. They are just not powerful enough, but if they got help from the Republic of Biesel then we may be under threat of an all out war. But I can assure you, that will not happen under my watch.
