Hey, thanks for applying! I like the thought that went into your app and your backstory is especially well written but I had a few questions about the timeline and how certain things affect Jekzaw. - You mention that as the refugee crisis and rationing worsened the Si'akh lifestyle grew more appealing and I'm curious in what way? Was the lifestyle spiritually fulfilling? Does Jekzaw appreciate the more ascetic aspects or is the appreciation more that it lines up with his new experiences? Is it something else entirely? - I like the relationship Jekzaw has with the city. If I understand correctly, them staying behind while the majority of the other Si'akh followers departed left them isolated amongst the more traditional Th'akhists of the area. Jekzaw's sentimentality/reliance on the city also seems to be something they worked to eliminate to better follow Si'akh teachings. What sort of timeframe do you imagine the transition takes? They enter the area around the city as a young adult or nearly adult? You don't have to have exact dates I'm just trying to get a vibe on how long their conversion is marinating. - In a similar vein to the previous question, the Maraziite Order wass disbanded in 2462 (at time of writing and without further retcons). How often and/or how recent was your interaction with them in Res’karum? Were there any crucial interactions or mostly just avoidance? Unfortunately, you will never beat the allegations.

Reporting Personnel: Magnus Sorensen Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Captain Game ID: cCA-dEI1 Personnel Involved: Mania Haller, Head of Security - Offender Magnus Sorensen, Captain - Witness Secondary Witnesses: Alarzoeh Has, Officer - Witness Hazel #S-H14.47, Paramedic - Witness Lynn Reyer, Warden - Witness Time of Incident: Approximately 02:18 Ship Time Real Time: 0500 UTC 11/15/2025 Location of Incident: SCCV Horizon Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [X] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [X] - Misconduct [ ] - Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: During the shift in question, the Horizon attempted to board, salvage, and recover what we could of the NICSS Verloc which had recently been discovered again after a number of years missing. When the team boarded they were confronted by self-described salvagers already at work aboard. There was some initial tension, including the taking captive of one of our crew and a good number of the team being exposed to radiation. The captive was eventually released and the crew returned to the Horizon along with the salvagers and two Necropolis IPCs. I met the salvagers with Haller and others present. I offered them payment for their information, willingness to drop any claims of salvage, and de-escalation of the situation. Remaining willing crew returned to the crumbling ship with suits better rated for radiation exposure and collected blueprints and other valuables before fleeing the collapsing wreck. All of this was accomplished despite Haller's blood lust and attempts to undermine my negotiations with the salvagers. She consistently made it clear that she wanted to simply shoot and kill anyone who was in our way. She was present at our talks and questioned my decision to resolve the issue peacefully, calling them terrorists and stating that they deserved nothing from us. I don't care that she took issue with my methods but blatant insubordination bordering on failure to execute orders warrants an examination. Not to mention the potential damage caused if she had been able to undermine the talks with our visitors. I didn't have time to speak with her at length about this or take action after the fact as the crew was quite busy with the Verloc through the whole of the shift and as other command members went to quarters I had to step in and coordinate multiple departments. Submitted Evidence: NA - The majority of the conduct was in person and not recorded. Would you like to be personally interviewed? [X] - Yes [ ] - No Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why? No. There was no time. Actions taken: NA Additional Notes: Haller performed her job well throughout the expedition and her tactical decisions in the field are not in question. I only take issue with their actions and statements aboard the Horizon while the opposing crew was visiting.

Other suggestions for your consideration. - Improve the tech support role by giving them a console with access to research levels that prints out improved components for PDAs including larger batteries and wireless charging. - Add induction charging between PDAs to share a charge (similar to some cell phones) and even other devices in the modular computer tree; laptops, consoles, tablets, ect. - Give service workers small, handheld induction chargers that work with personal electronics as a service they can offer. I had some other ideas but then I slept. I'll update this if I remember.

It would be good to make the larger batteries and even wireless charging components fit in the PDAs. There’s a lot of components that don’t get used often because they only work in larger devices like laptops and consoles. On the whole, I wouldn’t want to simply remove the need to charge PDAs. I don't subscribe to the idea that the best RP is uninterrupted by gameplay mechanics. If we sand off all the rough edges and annoyances then the in-game world loses its texture. An argument could be made that you can manufacture problems like this by adding it into your RP purposefully but I prefer to deal with issues as they come up mechanically rather than script them into my RP.

IMO, the main difference between weed and other drugs is that weed is more easily memed. The venn-diagram of weed smokers and video game players has much more of an overlap than cocaine users, for example, and familiarity leads to in-jokes, references, ect. Even people who aren't in the culture are familiar with the funny weed number which gets used all the time, ironically or not. To be fair there's similar things with drinking and other substances and we crack down on LRP behavior with them too, but I don't see the benefits outweighing the drawbacks in the weed situation.

This might be an American centric perspective, but there is too much baggage associated with weed IRL and it would overshadow the plant’s lore in our setting. I don’t have any opinions good or bad on weed itself but I’d personally avoid opening the gate to things like weed culture because I can honestly see it going LRP pretty quick.
