How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Close to five years.
Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?:I believe this is the next step for my characters story.
Why did you come to Aurora?:After finding this game I steadily made my way up from lrp to mrp and once I made it to hrp anything less was unbearable to take part in.
Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?:Yes.
Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? Yes. Warnings and corrections about actions with poor outcomes for everyone involved, they're old, and I know better now because of them.

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each.

Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about:

Its like a mask, one that can be changed at a whim to make an experience of acting another life or fantasy. From this its the stories we make and bonds we forge that tie it all together.
Its important  that everyone partaking is enjoying their time turning nonsense into an endless supply of enjoyment and expression. This is What I believe roleplay should be.

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?:

A Head of Staff is a trusted member of this community someone to look to for information or guidance to their IC problems. A role model, and a force that can push the story forward. When things slow down its command who should try to spice things up or keep things moving. They should be there to help those in their influence know the role and keep things running smooth so interactions with their department are satisfying.

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?:

Similar to the above, to help players get what they want out of this game. They should make sure everyone in their influence knows how the server work and those under their command know how to perform their role to and adequate level. I think they should try to keep everyone informed of whats going on in the round to the best of their abilities. Communications is a big part of this game keeping everyone in the know lets them have opportunities to participate with the antag or for the antags to use this information to make the rounds more enjoyable.

I already do some of these such has teaching players in learning roles such as cadet or intern and anywhere else I can. Keeping as many as players knowledgeable of whats taking place in the round comes naturally being someone who prefers to play security roles.

Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau Ceti and how it affected your character and their career?

Due to frequent breaks in play I cannot say to a large degree of the current affairs are in Tau Ceti. The current event line im interested in is Warbling: The Musical. In short the Jargon Federation is over stepping it's boundaries by kidnapping and hunting down Anti-Fed Skrell. So far im really enjoying this arc and can see its having big impact on all Skrell characters. As for the effect on my character, I think Que would be watched as if under a microscope due to his history with the Tups, yet there would still be some trust considering how long hes been an employee of NT. Que is still loyal to the Federation. While no longer enlisted he is determined to do what he can to protect the Federation and its people from within Tau Ceti. Becoming a HoS just might be the next step for him to accomplish his goals.

What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted?Head of Security and eventually Chief Medical Officer once I have more experience with the new brainmed.

Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.: Que Tup'Xequal'Valurex, Head of security. I may consider Vol-Velos for CMO. Im still working out his background and reason for wanting to be one.

How would you rate your own roleplaying?:I believe I'm decent and able to RP to the standards of a head of staff. Plenty of room for improvement

Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action?I do.

Have you familiarize yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles?Yes.

Well, I named Que Tup'Xequal'Valurex today as Interim HoS without knowing he had an application here. The experience was good and the character showed he was able to manage the security department in a critical situation. I think HoS is one of the most difficult command role to play (IMO) and he was able to do it in a good way. So I give my approval.

Ive only really had experience with Que Tup'Xequal'Valurex with m sec character.

A solid officer but at times a bit quiet when it comes to communicating.

RP is pretty good as well and the character understands its place within the lore.

Icky is one of those players that I always appreciate being around. They make the civilan section feel alive with their chef, and their roleplay has never really been anything I've had to worry about.

 

All in all a good candidate for a roleplay-heavy whitelist such as Command, and the kind of example I would love for people to look to

Icky is a pretty cool RPer, gives Jake a fright every now and then since one of his characters are X tup!

I think they would do great with a comand app, hopefulyl they do well as well!

Seems like someone who just genuinely likes making the round better for everyone, would be a fine addition to the pool of heads in my opinion.

They're a good roleplayer and a good sec player. It's something I first noticed when I began observing rounds a lot. Now that I actually play the game more than I observe, I really only have experience personally with their engineer, and it's been great interacting with them. They're the kind of player I think would do well in a head role and so I gotta show my support

A couple days ago this AI loving skrell gave Aurora the finest traitor round I've ever seen. Their skill and attention to detail when it came to involving as many people as possible in a fun way was awesome, and while I personally haven't seen them around much, I do look forward to this trial.
