Does this refer to a reboot of the aurora setting? How much will be reset, and how much will be an in-character transition? Quote Link to comment

The wiki says "common Eridanians avoid even slightly falling out of the norm, being lawful as well as visually and verbally inoffensive" for fear of being fired and "one screw-up is enough to get [Zeng-Hu employees] fired", so every medical character would need to be a goody-two-shoes who's polite to everyone all the time and has no workplace incidents and no criminal history, otherwise they would've gotten fired. Why would a doctor have a criminal history and expect to be hired to begin with? Quote Link to comment

Yeah, you're right, I don't know why I included that part. Besides that, I still think medical characters not being allowed any mistakes or incidents in their history or records at all would be too limiting. Just act reasonable and don't explicitly break regulations, and you'll do fine (with Zeng-Hu at least). Quote Link to comment
Caelphon
Update: There will be updates to Private Military Contractors, as well as Cargo. We will release the details when the time is right. Quote Link to comment
DronzTheWolf
I just understood the real reason they were making Cargo Heph-only at first. To clear out all the disrespectful cargo goblins and other degenerates. Make Cargo a respectful and hard-working department. Quote Link to comment
TrainTN
I agree with the suggestions of including Nanotrasen in Cargo. Yes, this would tip the balance towards NT, but I feel it would be minor enough that it would prove ultimately unimportant and non-harmful to the purpose of the NBT, and that players' creative freedom should be more of a priority. Plus, it makes perfect sense for part of the mining team to be on NT's payroll considering NT's history of Phoron mining as well as exploiting any other resources they can find, they probably have swathes of experienced prospectors they can assign to the ship.
