This attitude is unbecoming, and inappropriate.

This is a player complaint, it is a public trial. and as such, is exactly the place to present evidence in your defense. Refusing to do so is both childish and self-destructive.

Admins can only really consider what is posted here, and the logs of relevant rounds. If you're sitting on something that provides evidence of your character, provide it here, where it can be disputed and discussed, not in a private place where you can twist things to your favor.

I'd like to ask, have IC resolutions to these issues been attempted? Has either been disciplined by CCIA?

You say I can twist things to my favour in a private place; however if I post them here, the people that the issues are with will twist it in their favour, as usually happens.

A) If I recall correctly, your charge wasn't just slander, with this being two days ago, I recall your sentence being a total of thirty minutes, I honestly do not believe you sat in that room for twenty minutes. As for your sentences, it was Assault, resisting arrest, slandering a head of staff and failure to follow orders, these charges total up to thirty minutes, if you truely believe I misjudged the time, I would like an admin to review the logs from when you were in the brig to when I commented it, I'm willing to concede this point to you if they find me in the wrong. I've even insured that everyone had company with them. I've spoken with Layla Starr, Yoiko Ali, and even yourself before Nar'Sie was summoned and we ended up fighting the spawned mobs.

 

It was slander, as I'd done nothing else. I never touched a single officer or resisted arrest, instead shaking the bartender who was being spamflashed up. I spent twenty in interrogation, then the HoS wanted me in for another twenty.

I've been randomly searched for no reason other than 'Suspicious Conduct' for being Mason, I've had full searches of Cargo with a warrant after I'd been onstation for fifteen minutes. This sort of thing is 'trouble maker' stuff.

 

A)I do not think I entirely ignored the situation, been a little slow, possibly, but I was escalating to the point of physically taking down the detective until he side stepped, and I rushed him to medical. I couldn't pursue the issue further because iirc when I returned with the Captain asking for Barcia, Nar'sie was summoned.

 

Yet, you did not, you stood perfectly still whilst he spamconverted him into paincrit.

 

B) My memory is not entirely clear about this event as it was four days ago I believe? But I don't believe we intended to hold you until transfer, I personally arrested Barcia since he had a laser carbine and kept shooting himself in the foot which I believe was accident actually, but decided to release him and deal with the situation in Central, as I had higher priority things to do with the round being heist I believe.

 

I was not present for the shooting in the foot, but I'm under the impression that was an accident. For the HuT, that was indeed a thing, and Drake Bond (UnknownMurder) kept reiterating it, and that it was Hawkins' orders.

Alright. I meant to deal with this days ago, but as per usual, RL took a giant shit on my plans as soon as something interesting rolled up, and I just now got it dealt with last night.

As per the complaint, I do see the issues highlighted in Chaz's conduct in OOC. It's easily perceived as hostile, or aggressive, even if Chaz himself really doesn't mean it that way. Being insensitive is a grey blur of the 'Don't be a dick rule,' however, technically speaking, isn't technically violation. That being said, it's not really a trend that we can get continue unchecked.

Also, for reference, most of administration is aware of the circumstances on lifeweb; they're irrelevant here. We've never based reviews or investigations based off of what someone has done somewhere else, because frankly, it really doesn't matter. All that concerns is how Chaz conducts himself here, on Aurora.

That being said, I will be needing to speak to both of you privately. I've spoken with several other administrators hoping to find a suitable outcome given what's been said here, and it seems we've finally reached a consensus. Expect to be PM'd on the server sometime in the future.

Until then, I will be locking the complaint. Pending my speaking with Gabols and Chaz, it will be archived.
