I mean, to be fair, getting shot requires surgery anyway if you start bleeding because you have to remove shrapnel because internal bleeding. That means that this suggestion for getting shot is already in effect. Not a fan of falling over helpless though. If you've lost enough blood to fall over, then you're either in pain crit or soon to be dead because you're already on the floor taking massive oxy damage. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that it already exists, and that we don't have to make it worse as this suggestion would make it Coupled with that: Surgery uses a cautery to close wounds. No need for sowing and bandaging. Also, there's already a bleed system in effect anyhow. Being attacked with things like knives, claws, etc. makes wounds tear open which cause bleeding. The bigger the wound (due to repeat hits), the more you bleed out of said wound. The smallest of bleeding wounds will heal naturally, but bigger wounds require gauze/advanced trauma kits to stop the bleeding.

For example, with writing on blood currently, some players do horribly stupid things such as being unsporting by giving the names of cultists or saying horribly stupid, immature things. Any clue how the mechanic you're suggesting could be made so that it isn't abusable or devolves to stupidity?

Yes, it would be actually. The holobadge is something readily available when on the job, but when off-duty it has no use, really. For this license, though... It's not a readily available item. What do we do for people that can pilot mechs, but don't have a custom item of a mech licens?

I mean, just because you have scars on your sprite doesn't really mean medical personnel'll treat you differently? I can accept the jumpsuit (I guess mainly because it'll be a very simple sprite edit), but I'm just not seeing the point behind needing to have the scars and tattoo on the mob sprite; especially since those aren't items per se.

Your pose always appears in full length regardless of how much you write into it, and it appears just under your flavor text in black text; which makes it really hard to ignore.

I'm extremely iffy about this. If I approve this, then everybody that can pilot a mech needs one, then THEY will have to apply for one too, and at that point we have to add it to the code for public use. I would prefer not having that, y'know?

Uaaaa, correct me if I'm wrong: All you have to do to install a pipe is drop it, and then click on it with a wrench. How different would this be to that?

If I remember Xenomorph lore, then their internal organs under rapid liquidation (or whatever the term was) once they die because their blood starts to react even more violently; leaving nothing but their shell. because. you know. Xenomorphs are actually biological weapons. Edit: I'm referring to actual Alien lore. I don't think we have any lore on xenomorphs really aside from the fact that nobody knows what they are.

I like all of your post except for this. Everybody already knows that this works extremely well, leads to metagame because of the OOC knowledge that there's no consequences to this, and is heavily not encouraged. Please no. Last thing we need is more people doing it.
