  1. And yet all of their alternate clothing that's fine to wear is just consistent of a dress shirt and pants because detectives are expected to wear a holobadge.
  2. That's for a detective role. Detective's don't have a specific jumpsuit.
  3. Except it wasn't a Sol uniform. It was a jacket. Edit: http://aurorastation.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=1411 I know it says uniform, but the Sol thing is really a jacket, and not a jumpsuit. It says it on the application.
  4. You should read these first. http://aurorastation.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=43 Along with that, no custom item jumpsuits because NT requires you to wear your uniform, and most surely wouldn't let you bring your own jumpsuit because of that, y'know? Falls under rule 1.
  5. And your thoughts on one of my earlier posts isssss?
  6. I'd support this. I'm not particularly worried about baldies using it to grief, really. I already immediately jump to any repeated attack logs in the case of grief. If I see a bald officer shooting at a civilian and I can identify it as grief, then that bald officer is getting winded + possibly banned while the victim gets a rejuv. Grief carried out by harm like this is very easily fixable for staff.
  7. Hi, just giving my opinion as a player because I'm not the one handling this. I'm personally not seeing the panic syphon as gank either in this situation. The panic syphon went about 0.3 kPa per second when I was watching, and the room is 101.3 kPa. It needs to hit 70 kPa before you start taking damage from the pressure. In 10 seconds, 3 kPa are gone. I'm bad at math, but if I did it right, you had a little over a minute to solve the situation at hand while the AI talks to you before you're in any real danger (since you have an oxygen tank and don't have to worry about oxyloss). The AI thrusted you into a situation you needed to solve quickly or die a slow, painful death. A solution? Smashing one of the windows below the locker to have more air in the brig while engineers get to the brig to shut the air alarm and cut cameras to prevent the AI from doing it again. Now, this would've been MUCH more different if they bolted you into a room with no windows, such as the armory, and activated the panic syphon without trying to talk to you, but that's not what happened, y'know? Just an example of what I would've considered gank as an AI, since the AI has very limited options, and why I didn't take action during that round. The AI kept creating solvable problem after solvable problem, and it succeeded seeing as nobody was fatally injured... Up until people started bumrushing into his core single file while the AI clearly had lethals active.
  8. Except that you didn't say that in any part of this thread, lol. Now, I'm willing to have it edited to NT Security, but I would have the coat locked to Head of Security while the beret is unlocked for use on any job. Small items like a badge or a cap representing an on-station job are passable because it shows your history and/or support to said department, and can help you in interactions with a head of personnel if you wish reassignment, but a jacket is more of a thing that people actually in the department would wear. Not to mention that a head of security jacket being worn by someone like an assistant would be too confusing because Head of Security is a head of staff job on-station. It's the same reason I wouldn't allow a Captain to have a captain jacket custom item outside of captain. Heads of staff have to be identifiable as said head of staff. As such, I don't want to allow a custom item on a non-head of staff that will allow them to identify as a head of staff. TL;DR: Willing to edit coat and beret, but only make the coat available as head of security, and the beret can be available to any job. How does that sound?
  9. Should be worth noting that Dea and I originally planned on accepting his last application, but had to deny it for inactivity.
  10. Excellent. Consider your application approved. I will now lock the thread, and set the prefix to Processing. Make sure to check back every now and then because once the prefix is changed to Complete, then it means the item is present in the code, and ready for your use.

  12. I think that would work perfectly fine. What do you think, Skop?
  13. Anyway, in all seriousness: Consider your application approved. I will now lock the thread, and set the prefix to Processing. Make sure to check back every now and then because once the prefix is changed to Complete, then it means the item is present in the code, and ready for your use.
  14. I don't know... That name plate that says "Tpr. Sinsa" might have armor...
  15. HMMMMMMMMM
  16. These duty jackets don't have any armor, right?

  18. Oh, okay! I was like "lolwtf Skop?" Anyway, hmmm... I'll put some thought into this, mainly because I'm not too sure about the fact of having a soul stone shard for the sprite.
  19. Yup. Now, what exactly do you want this RIG cap to look like that will make people ask? What exactly was the incident your character was caught in? It will help us determine how to make it look visually or in its description.

  21. Well, as long as a simple PDA resprite can be done, I'd be more willing to accept this application. A simpler sprite to make would be so much more helpful for our dev team, and hell, even I could make the PDA like a different color or put a small graph on the screen or something. How does that sound for the sprite?

  23. You mean the item created because of the ancient donation system that you and Chaz ran? That's a bygone artifact, Tool, and has since been removed. No similar items like that will ever be made again. Ever. Now, Delta, I'm mostly asking because that's what you put in the item's function. My first guess was that you were expecting like, I don't know, a third pocket or something. Just so we're sure, it's function is just that of a labcoat, and nothing more, yes?
  24. Excellent. Also, I'll keep that in mind once I put this up on the custom item tracker. Consider your application approved. The prefix of the thread will be changed to Processing. Check back every now and then because once you see the prefix set to Completed, it means that the item is available for you to use.
  25. How can this item be used for RP in the first place? It only seems like a coat and a beret with literally no significance to the character aside from "ayyy, I work security, lmao"
