  1. Maybe add an aspergillum?
  2. An update: The full sprites have been produced and made white for color picker. and I forgot to post them here.
  3. >Implying Atmos will give mining anything Getting anything from Engineering without being friends with an Engineer is like pulling teeth with buttered fingers.
  4. To be fair, at this point mining is a science in and of itself. With all the new mods for KAs and shit.
  5. Because the vast majority of QMs are Cargo Lads who know nothing of mining. They only see the miners as a valid squad and money machine at their disposal.
  6. The main problem is the lack of communication, that's what causes this. If they understood eachother's plights, suddenly they begin to recognize that they're actually not so different. It'd start out a shitfest and get to become an efficient line of communication.
  7. Given the new system to make mining reliant encouraged to work with Science, I propose something to help with inter-departmental relations: Give mining a Cargo-Science headset. I am admittedly not very knowledgeable on how the radio code works, but this seems to make sense to me.
  8. I, personally, support this. It'd be making all officers have to come down to Cadet standards in swapping HUD for Sunglasses when shit goes pear-shaped.
  9. Now we need New Mombasa as an obligatory Halo reference. Jokes aside, though. This concept really has me interested. A conversion antag that I'd want to support, for once. Amazing.
  10. I have been thinking, came to a realization that hydrogen engines are a possibility. It would be an interesting way to get around, maybe even make it as a type of generator on-station eventually. That is, if it works.
  11. I like it. If this comes to, we might see some good things like: More racial tension A game mode based more in RP Getting got by antags not resulting in death, usually Lii'dra Lore'dra
  12. I agreed with this. That's why I played Assistant who did repairs and stuff. Then the CEs (Munks mostly) started getting angry that I was doing Engineer stuff as a non-Engineer and started getting the valid squad after me at every possible opportunity.
  13. I don't care about damage, I just want it to shoot straight again.
  14. 1. Implants don't work in hard/voidsuits. 2. The reason I want this is so it will be more accessable, and you won't have to rely on the chemist not being absent/UristMcBaldie 3. Brute patches are only useful once you're out of danger, because as said above, you can't apply them through a void or hardsuit.
  15. Well, it was nerfed for being too powerful, they added spread because fuck being useful amirite
  16. I'm not even asking for good, I'm asking for average. So mining can still be worth playing when there's no Science on.
  17. It wasn't. The original had no dispersion at all, it was a perfect line. It still splits like my Merc team the moment I mention that we should stick together.
  18. As of now, the best KA mining can get is a Class D. Now, given the update just dropped, not everyone has experienced the new KA system, but one thing that does irk me, just as a concept, is that mining can't even reach mediocrity without the help of Science. It's one thing to make all the high-teir upgrades a Science only thing, but to make it so that you can't reach an average is a bit much. This is less of making mining want inter-departmental relations for maximum efficiency and more of making mining become dependent on Science to do anything but be below average.
  19. The title says it all, an item in the mining rewards console. It'd be an autoinjector filled with 10u inaprovaline and 5u tricordrazine. Essentially it'd be made to keep you alive longer in the situation where you would fall, or to keep the person you're rescuing alive longer. Something to help with general injuries, but mostly based in preserving.
  20. Like what? There's a few guns and melee weapons we don't use, or that rarely spawn for Raiders. There's some armors like the Thunderdone and SWAT gear that is kinda.. There, but not used. I'll put a real list together later.
  21. Because just "patched" with no further explanation lends itself to exactly that. Especially when you consider that every single "patched" jacket application that's ever existed here was exactly that and you simply said "has patches sewn on it". The assumption has zero to do with "muh Mars" or whatever you're going on about there. You should include in the desc. just what exactly those patches are for people that don't understand what a jumble of pixels on it are meant to be since it's an important part of the item. The assumption falls entirely on the original presentation you created to start with. Yeah, you're right. I should have gone further into detail on the original post, I'll go ahead and edit this. I should stop posting when I'm tired.
  22. If anything, give the Legion some of the unused things we have in the game, there's a lot of unused weapons and armors in code.
  23. It's not patched as in torn up/patched. It's patched as in it has identifying patches sewn on, like one would sew to a jacket. Like how a biking club or something similar would. I don't know why everyone automatically assumes it's hobo-teir ripped up coat because muh Mars. I edited the original post's additional comments to clarify. Another addition: In-hand sprite.
  24. This is the best idea. The greatest. I've seen many ideas in my day but this, this is one of the best.
  25. That's why you have to be resting to hide, you can't use items while resting, so by standing up you'll be un-hidden for your ambush.
