  1. Only ERT has access to the SAW/LMG when admins open the blast door for it iirc, and I'm pretty sure the SAW has a 60 round magazine. My concept for the LMG is supposed to be a less impressive area-denial weapon for team-based antags.
  2. The LMG is used with the long burst to suppress the enemy and keep them back, good for covering a retreat or heralding a charge. It's a support weapon to be used with a team, so it goes to team antags. Not for solo traitors, so it wouldn't be chosen over the traitor gun. As for the bulldog/bullpup, well, everyone knows the shotgun meta will eventually be nerfed to ass, so people will start exploring new options. This could be one of said options, a semi-auto rifle to be used instead of the burst rifles. Make it notably cheaper than the bullpup and bulldog and it'd get attention.
  3. If you moved pKA upgrades to Science, that would be enough to bring the miners back. And maybe make it so Science holds the RIG press. That'd probably make miners come crawling and sniveling. We all know that is your goal, as is all Science mains.
  4. I was tied between wooden and synthetic framing for the semi-auto, I might go back and change it to synthetic cover.
  5. Odd. I modified them heavily from guns that already exist in-code, but I suppose minor adjustments won't hurt. Anything in specific you noticed?
  6. Before you all spout 'there's too many guns already' I know, that's not a problem. The more the merrier. Now that that's out of the way, here's my gun concepts (Sprites included). Vintage Machine Gun: An LMG for Merc/Raider to use. It would cost a good amount of TCs and be about as rare as the Merc assault rifle in Raider spawns. Fires in 7.62 and had 40 round magazines. Pictured below: And the second in this post, the Semi-Auto Rifle. A Cargo orderable or Raider spawn, it fires semi-auto 5.56. 18 round magazines, pictured below: I decided to make another sprite for the Semi-Auto, with a synthetic stock and grip instead. Thoughts and feedback are welcome. Remember, it's okay to disagree. Disagreement makes progress.

  11. That may be true, but the range doesn't matter much when guns are introduced, the best it's for is keeping a headgib from happening. Although with the new mechanics, a headgib can happen at any range with shotguns.
  12. As you all may or may not know, I made some Security Kilt Uniform sprites, but only the front-facing ones. They will be pictured below, and if you want one added/finished, here is where you vote. I only plan to finish one for now, but the others may be included if enough people want it. 1. ERT-Like 2.   13. Okay but why do you want to debilitate the limited xeno fashion even more. You only have white wrappings, black boots, ugly brown boots, and sandals to choose from.
  14. How about we add the shorts to the loadout? You know, the athletic shorts. The ones already in-game. Those ones.
  15. Pikes also do less damage than spears and other traditional melee weapons.
  16. I personally think that this is a really good idea, let the Chaos happen. Revs are too hesitant to become violent, but gangs really nail home the point that you're supposed to do more than whine and moan in the holodeck and wait for Sec to pepperspray you.
  17. I didn't get to interact with Losk much when I was playing in Medical, but he was pretty chill from what I remember.

I suggest that the Xenobiologists should be able to make things with the spiders, such as cutting out venom sacs to make antivenom (Or poison people) and be able to use the slime docility potion to make other simple_mobs docile using said antivenom. There's also a few other things I could think of, such as cutting apart the hard chitin of the brown warrior spiders to be used in making coats and/or armor and cutting eggs out of the breeders.

  22. That's why I figure we could add it as a new one, as well. I think having multiple white suits could be a problem, but I know others would prefer to keep the older one.
  23. I know that some people still like the Doc Scratch white suit, but I think that it's reference is pretty old now. I propose a new white suit with another reference. I made a sprite when I was bored and figured I'd share it here/get feedback on if it should be new/replaced/whatever.
