  1. I guess it was buffed since I last used it.
  2. I missed this when going over it the other day, might as well. 1. The RNG craftsmanship that is applied to all makeshift weapons, which usually dictates misfire and/or exploding in hand. 2. Unless the E-Pistol was shadily buffed since I last used it, it cannot even take someone down with it's full magazine, and you forget that to have potentially more, you would need to have access to R&D maximum cells. So, only a scientist who could make a better gun anyway or a very lucky cargo tech could make it. 3. The idea to make it is: Make the improvised handgun grip, add the curve pipe, saw it or hatchet it, then add more steel and weld, then add glass and screwdriver, add a battery, then a laser tripwire that you can print in a prolate/ask for from Cargo, and finally add wires and wrench to bolt it all in place.
  3. iirc the tactical masks have armor I could me misremembering though
  4. I'm looking for feedback on The Man, The Myth, The Legend: Michael Lee
  5. ATLAS Youth needs to be a thing.
  6. I think the off-station antag is WizWoz for all those people doing child wizard gimmick. I can't wait for Unathi to abuse the shit out of both women and children. Also make kids take a fuckton of brute.
  7. While that would be a lot better and more realistic, I don't want this tied to any one department or another (See: Cargonia, Science). Though I also know it'd be far too easy to make without it, I considered diamond in place of glass at first but the worst feeling is knowing this will go unused because the two departments that could make it can just order/manufacture real guns far easier.
  8. The concept is: Improvised laser. It can burn your hand for anywhere between five and twenty five damage. Craftsmanship changes the chances. It can de-focus that decreases the damage and possibly makes it worse, or do no damage at all. Craftsmanship changes chances. (De-focus is fixed with screwdriver) It needs charged, and charging time depends on the craftsmanship. The battery cannot be removed, to avoid in-combat battery swaps. Mostly because the battery is screwed down. It does as much damage as an E-Pistol, this changes with de-focus. It can hold anywhere between two and eight shots, this depends on battery cells.
  9. Security Cadets get lockers, but Lab Assistants and Engineering Apprentices, and iirc Medical Assistants/Residents don't do not. Why do we not have those? Could someone possibly add them?
  10. That was fast, wow.
  11. With the Laser KA being the only traitor laser weapon that I know of, I think adding the Icelance Rifle would be a good addition, and with some justification. I was thinking it'd be about six or seven TC
  12. I am still planning on some other sprites. Pretty sure there's more I need to do.
  13. I decided to post not one, but both of the mask sprites upscaled: Human, then Xeno
  14. I, for one, support this choice. The default humanoid AI is obviously Cortana, I can't wait to make Roland:
  15. I like this idea. Weaponized weather has yet to really be touched upon. +1
  16. This is a balance issue, due to the fact that coins can be used to gain additional supplies from vending machines that are not typically open access. There are only a certain number of coins on the map for this reason. Except that coins can spawn anywhere in maintenance, so anyone with maint access or the opportunism during a power outage can get one.
  17. Add a hatchet to the surface garden. An open-use hatchet has been gone for too long.
  18. It does, but it covers enough to still warrant the "Unknown" tag. It only shows the upper face, and the eyes. It's mostly to make a more modern looking mask as opposed to the WWII masks the station still uses. Let's be honest though, who even uses the shitty gas masks for identity concealment when there are a lot of alternatives in maint and the chameleon mask.
  19. To bump it, I'm gonna share the Xeno sprites for it too:
  20. I had an idea earlier that'd probably be an interesting play-style for ninja, and that is forgoing a hardsuit and teleportation for some other unique gear. -Invisibility Camouflage: A self-recharging camouflage module that lasts around thirty seconds when fully charged. -Throwing star printer: Prints up to five throwing stars if fully charged, must be re-charged at a charger. -Net gun: Net gun. -Katana: A plasteel katana, because it's superior martian steel that has been folded over 100000000 times. -Smoke pellets: An instant-use smoke bomb that detonates when thrown on used in-hand. -Black scarf: A filtered scarf that wraps around the face and works as a gas mask. -Ninja Voidsuit: A voidsuit that resembles a futuristic Gi and has decent armor values. Magboots not included. -Ninja Medkit: A medkit that fits in the ninja belt and contains a number of chems, bandages, etc. There's probably more that I can't think of right now, and this will all be optional gear that you can buy alongside the un-upgraded hardsuit, so you can even do a recruiting gimmick if you want.
  21. I agree that it's kinda weird ruling on the whole thing, but a mechanical thing is that if you're on hotkey mode, you can press "H" to draw a weapon.
  22. They're not saying combat is bad, they're saying it's not fun being instantly beheaded or headgibbed by some unga bunga with an esword and force gloves or being instantly fucked because your leg is blown off by a pistol.
  23. I don't want to have to set up an engine to keep the round from dying please. This would make me not avoid Engineering like a plague because one misstep won't end the round. +1
  24. It's simple, stock extra SMES upgrade equipment in Engineering so they can grab some of it, and then upgrade the solar SMES on the way out.
