1. Well, actually it could be added and be a part of the cloning/brain damage stuff. Tourettes is shit, but being unable to read seems to make more sense. Traumas =/= disabilities. I know, that's my point. If we wanted to add it, it would have to be in that sense, rather than a disability.
2. You know what painstutter is, right? That isn't a realistic or portrayal of a normal stutter. "Th-th-the Q-qu-quick b-b-brown f-f-fo-fox ju-ju-jumped ov-ov-over -he la-lazy- -dog" This makes sense for extreme pain, it does not for nervousness. When people write their own stutters, it is easier to understand, and allows for stutters to come off certain words, rather than all or none, as well as toss in "uhms" and "uhs". Nervousness stuttering currently is just very basic and not of a quality that should be acceptable. You can't really improve it, seeing as most characters are situationally nervous, not nervous 24/7 and thus aren't stuttering constantly.
3. So, instead of people stuttering through their own typing, they can now use nervousness- except nervousness is extremely over the top because it's just pain stutter. It either needs to be removed from selectable disabilities, or redone.

5. You 'Won' nothing because leaving the station just removes you, the antagonists, from the round. The entire purpose of antags is not for you to 'Win', but to create interaction for the crew in whatever form possible, be it combat or dialogue, or other. Nothing was had instead. No combat, no dialogue, Given that you had a large bargaining chip with you, there were avenues for interaction post-ERT. This was a failure on the antag team's part to adapt to the fact they were being too successful in their primary objective.
6. That's quite unfair, in my opinion. I want my issue handled. I don't come here to be pestered about how well I know other players and staff and hear about how I'm corrupt and running a circlejerk. I have a reason to be in this complaint against him. The others seem to be in a pissing match or something.
7. I'm here because PLA has been, since a singular issue on the ISD sever, pestering me, making false accusations against me and making implications about my relations to staff and other players. I have very little to do with the others here other than this revolving around PLA. Whatever your issue is with my specific complaint, could you please point it out?
8. I will say this is commendable and a good thing. He apologized for being quite hostile that day. Not for anything else. You misunderstand what he says. He has not apologized for anything other than one sigular attack of a few. I will get the specific instances from that day later on, once I am home.
9. I can't recall this incident specifically, what happened that round? Usually I apologize for any losses of composure I have over rounds. Seemingly this time it was quite a bad experience otherwise I would have apologized. Either or, your are right in that that is not how Moderators ought to act. I would say, that as a player you have a lot more freedom to be open about how you feel about things. Especially in the first few minutes of when and after something happens. Staff don't have the same luxury, and I know that well. I think the only issue with attitude I had in the past as a Moderator was outbursts towards other staff for slacking off while we were being drowned in ahelps I was handling alone, and maybe being too cold in my responses or sounding automated. I sucessfully kept my cool when in really shit rounds as a Moderator with that extra responsibility. And I'm sure you'll agree when I say that CM rounds bring a lot more salt to the table than most anything on Aurora. Sharp Short answer is warnings. Antags are there to spice rounds, and be a driving force for the round. They failed to complete the primary purpose of having antags all the while successfully meeting their goals before the 2 hour mark. At this point of safety and holding the second largest bargaining chip- the Vault contents, instead of trying to parlay this into something more. They had a secondary objective they put on the side, they actively chose to push forward in a very direct and automatonic nature. Of course, you'd need to look at the logs still. Overall there's two kinds of failure to contribute RP and usually it is an accident by a ling or vamp that gets them killed or captured immediately, or a Ninja or traitor that gets caught in the act and has no real 'out' from it. These are entirely accidents, most of the time. When you are Raider/Merc, you got a lot more at your disposal. A whole team, weapons, a shuttle. These guys mananged to pull off the heist without having to talk to anyone Stationside but the Captain, some miners and shittalk at Sec before the heat was too high and decided to leave. This is not an appropriate response to how those events were turning. When you are being too successful as antag, you need to step back and look at how you can open windows for communication and/or conflict. Warnings would probably not be the same overall. The ones that replied single out the guy who killed the Captain accidentally as being not that good. I would be speaking to them serverside, not sure about the other. Kyres, DaSmog and Drie have shared their opinions and firmly believe that it was a mixture of poor team ethic and 'luck' they pulled through and were then forced to choose between leaving or fighting 2 durands, an ERT, and a pissed off ISD team. I would also ask for impartial handling of this, since I was involved. ----- Right, but that's two for poor managing of interactions. If there are anymore I'd like to respond and then retract this application.
10. The SDT thing was one time. Can't say it has happened since. The PLAHunter thing is being sorted out now, I hope. I think that those in comparison to the ISD Relay situation show how I act when in that position of responsibility. I think that we acted quite well for being disposed of so rapidly. It would have been easy to rant on and on, but I didn't. EDIT: I take your opinion highly because of your previous position on staff here. Since we had talked that time I have been trying to work on my volatility. It is an issue I face. But, I think is said this in the application, I really bottle it all up over time, and I'm working on not doing that because it creates bigger issues later on. But, like I said, I consider your opinion pretty highly and If you don't think I'm for the position I will likely retract this if there is similar issues seen by other players. So I do hope future posts are more critical of me.
11. Any examples? I know I have had some worse moments in the last while but I'm sure most have been on the inane.
12. I thank you, a lot. It is appreciated. I do try to be nice, but, uhm, a fair few may not agree.
13. Server Moderator Application Basic Information Byond Account: AmoryBlaine Character Name(s): AI Name(s): N/A Discord username + tag: N/A Age: 18 Timezone: Eastern Standard Time When are you on Aurora?: Most everyday. I WANTED TO STOP PLAYING BUT THE ANNOUNCEMENT ENTICED ME BACK. NO REST FOR THE WICKED. Experience How long have you played SS13?: April of 2016 How long have you played on Aurora: April/May of 2017 How much do you know about SS13 (Baystation build) game mechanics?: I'm a Sec-main who used to play a mediocre Engineer and Doctor on CM in 2016 but my Moderation experienced helped with that. Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?: Yes, Colonial Marines. Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: Not here, not once. Personality Why do you play SS13?: It's a niche game that is surprisingly fun for being about 32x32 pixel 2D men in space. Why do you play on Aurora?: HRP is hard to come by. Aurora isn't entirely my cup of tea, as my cup of tea is 24/7 extended with a small community and plenty of ERP. But that being said, it's the second best thing. The community, for the most part, is welcoming enough. I love the gameplay, it feels nice to me, a bit laggy, but hey, that's how it is when the pop is this high. Also, BlueSec. I really like BlueSec. What do moderators do?: Moderate. Enforce the rules to a degree that is just. Moderators are the backbone of any server, they're boots on the ground and expected to handle most issues that come up server-side, at least in my experience. What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: It means understanding the community, not playing favorites, not abusing the position and generally making sure a fun time is had by all through proper roleplay and escalation. Why do you want to be a moderator?: I want to contribute to the community. I can't do that with code, nor sprites, nor very interesting characters. So I wanna just make sure things run smoothly. Also I want to ban Voltage for having slighted me in the past. What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: I suppose I'm good at following and carrying out orders. I can operate alone as well, I used to have to do that a lot. Pretty stressful but you make do. How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?: In my experience, I handle it well. Although, I bottle it up most times and it all comes out at once so that's not the best. Lately though, I've been trying to work on getting out negativity. I can handle multiple minor ahelps at a time usually while under other stresses, and the ticket system ought to help with that a lot as well. 14. I've only chosen to post here because you obviously have done harm to others as well, seeing as this complaint exists. Here is the entire conversation you and I had yesterday. Here's prior instances of you making some very interesting statements about me. When I said something akin to you having not ERP'd you said: Implicating that I ERP with Xander, which I do not: On April fools during the 'Community Manager' vote you had to say: Here is you, yesterday, after I made a player/character complaint about stuff that had literally nothing to do with you in the slightest, but you somehow connected the Captain being Xander to me making the complaint (for them?) and then tried to argue that both nursiekitty and Sharp are somehow in my, Xander, AND NT-ISD's pocket and biased in favor. Hell, neither I, nor Xander, were even present for this one. Also, I'm not sure what your issue is with NT-ISD. It is a quiet place mainly for people to ask questions and argue about stuff. The other two Staff members there aren't an issue as well, are they? If it is required, I can also post the entire logs of the original conversation that lead to his distaste for me over the NT-ISD/Xander situation that happened awhile back.
15. So, I thought he was just acting like this towards me, but as it turns out this is towards a number of people. I'll contribute my experiences with him here as well then. So, after I 'failed' to ban XanderDox from the NT-ISD Discord server for not wanting his face used for memes, Soviet approached me saying that I favoured XanderDox and that it was bias. My relations with anyone aside, don't expect that trying to argue in favour of using other people's faces for jokes is okay if they don't want it done. It's a dick move. Anyways, after this 'failure' to handle a percieved issue due to his assumption that my verdict was purely based on Xander and I knowing one another, Soviet began to take shots at me whenever he got a chance too. Yesterday, I spoke to him asking him to stop before I continued to report these issues, but as it turns out this is affecting more people than just me and I think it is worth me talking about. I'll add screenshots when I get a chance later today.
16. We are indeed on HRP, and they have explained the RP reasons for their actions, which seem reasonable. The lack of interaction was not by design but a byproduct of luck, a mixed intensity crew response and limited coordination within the team. The RnD thing the person said was I assume you made a report because you want some kind of action taken. If this situation merits action then the only things separating 50%+ of all antag plays from a report is the lack of snags in their plans. It seems like this post is more of a venting of frustration? Which is understandable, the antags also express frustration at how it turned out. But surely not the correct way to vent. (also if I remember correctly the RnD thing wasn't a part of the plan they made, but a backup objective one of the antags thought of and considered trying to steer the rest of the crew into) For sure action should be taken in my opinion. How can a five man raider team with the entire contents of the Vault fail to generate RP with the station over the fear of possible death from station-side combatants while being on their own shuttle. The fact that NOTHING between the Station and the Antags happened outside of Captain's death is a failure to apply their role as Antags. They are here to generate RP. If you are at an advantage, and your objective is complete that early, you have an obligation to think up something new. The lack of issues they ran into in carrying out their objective does not allow them to just pack up and go when the heat finally does turn up. They completed their first objective. They have all the contents of the Vault with them. They could easily begin a secondary objective where the station would have more to do than watch.
17. I was hoping to remove it entirely. I don't know why I need music for each time I want to interact with a scratch ticket. It's annoying in my opinion and takes away from the moment.
18. Exactly the sort of joke that gets you suspended. Which is why you don't tell them over comms or where you can be heard by your superiors or by anyone that can contact your superiors. EDIT: Please snip the responses, they're getting massive.
19. Anything. You at one point had the Captain and at another point had everything in the Vault but the floor. With either of these things you can start making demands. Your fear was being caught by Durands and an ERT all the while being able to move the skiff around the station, seeing as you were ON the skiff. You weren't trapped anywhere. This is how most rounds go with the objective being completed, but instead you all chose to leave and end the round pre-maturely as though there was a payoff for doing this.
20. driecg36 Again with the fighting. Why is that your focus here? Where have I asked you to come in contact with ANY of Security or armed staff? Have I not specified NEGOTIATIONS? Why have you not named the part of your team that was pushing for this direction that lead to nothingness?
21. There's a sweater accessory that you can wear over jumpsuits and other uniforms. It acts just like the sweater we currently have but you won't be stuck to only dark blue pants. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7w9l4b10vir6hfb/Sweater.dmi?dl=0 There's the DMIs. You already know what it looks like, it looks like the sweater we got already but the pants gone.
22. driecg36 Oh, so rather than stay where you were and have one of you delegate negotiations over what you wanted, which would have included the Heads, and Security at the very least, with Engineering and RnD depending on whether you wanted RnD things as you originally stated, or if we tried to outmaneuver you. Instead you decided to move your entire team into the elevator and wall it up, steal everything, hear about a Durand and an ERT, and then leave. Somehow the first was too complex an idea for your team to follow through with, but the second was easier? In what way does Security standing at the Bridge further RP? You have this caught up on combat and engagement, when this report is about you having not contributed at all to the round as antags. The whole purpose of having antags is to spice rounds and give character to them. Instead it was Extended with a dead Captain and some atmos issues. Saudus They're obligated to have done more than loot and leave as they did. We're on Heavy Roleplay, are we not? Somehow five Mercenaries could not contribute to the RP at all even though they had everything in the vault and apparently wanted something from RnD? Rather than ransom for it they choose to leave and pester Security a bit?
23. You have the Captain, negotiate with the Security team about exchanging the Captain for whatever you want, giving both sides time to do plot against the other or carry out their side of the bargain. You chose not to do this, you would rather complete the objective that you set forth than actually apply RP. Exactly, so why is "Muh Durand" an argument if you're already EVA and able to jump around on a Skiff doing literally whatever else. This is NOT about you NOT engaging us in Combat. It's about you LEAVING THE STATION AREA without having contributed to the round outside taking all of the Vault things and the Captain dying off screen. You had equipment, you had the manpower, you knew there were Miners out. You could have literally done anything to dodge a gimp'd Station Security team, including the ERT and a mech. You are raiders, not Mercs, you hit and run. NO ONE was expecting you to charge us. We were expecting you to NEGOTIATE and use possibly use HIT AND RUN tactics. Instead we got nothing out of that round but time wasted. At that point you should have began to think about new objectives given it was 30-40 minutes or so before the 2 hour mark. You have bounties to grab, you have other objectives available from your TeleCrystal interfaces. You do not just leave, ESPECIALLY when literally nothing has been contributed to the round thus far.
24. Right, so rather than try to RP you went straight to the vault so you could cut out the middle man and get right to the loot. The Durand is such a small part of this as you were already EVA. How exactly does this pose a threat to you EVA and while able to jump between decks with the skiff?
25. After getting the Captain why was your immediate thought to heist rather than to negotiate their release for the vault contents if this WAS your objective? This would have opened the door for us, the station, to talk to you. Instead, ALL of our attempts to communicate were met with insults. We knew you had access to our comms since you got the Captain. This is us trying to communicate with you multiple times: Here is the response later on. Mind you, this is still BEFORE any ERT was called. And you had already left. ICly you too knew that it was pointless to call the ERT because you had left, which you did soon after as confirmed by the 'Round over' pop up. You had chances to RP, but chose not to take them, rather you feared an ERT that was not yet called and a Durand that was being constructed by RnD unknown to us. DaTimeSmog
