Hi I was not present for any of this, but from my understanding, Garn ran a vote to spice up the round. The vote went through and he spiced up the round. You're saying that he went against his word of doing something small, right? Coming from someone who runs events often, and runs them on a pretty large scale, Garns event was indeed small. Perhaps the pylons were a little too much, perhaps not. A wishing stone is a very small event compared to the ones that myself, Alb and other admins run. Perhaps you can argue that this wasn't an event, but just some extra spice for the round. I usually throw in some antags and a little story to spice up the round, which usually turns out to be much larger than what Garn had done here. So, that being said.. What exactly is the point of this complaint? What are you complaining about? It's not exactly clear. Edit: I don't want to come off as hostile or rude, I just don't understand what you're complaining about.

Hello @spottaken, I will be taking this complaint. Let's go through this one thing at a time. The ban reason is. You also have a warning from the same day, an hour before the ban. Which can be found below. I see examples of power-gaming and valid-hunting here. For instance - "later on I saw one of them actively escaping prison. I chased them down after they drugged another sec guard, beat them up" You're an engineer. It isn't your responsibility or role on the station to chase down an escapee then beat them up. Our rules state "do not engage in behavior which would be unrealistic for your character", this falls under the power-gaming rule but also applies to this. As does, "Generally, avoid playing the hero." The staff member that bwoinked you is in the right in this case. You then state that later into the round, you hacked into the bar then stole the shotgun and other items. Once again, this is an example of power-gaming and unruly behavior that really shouldn't be done. Yes, conflict is okay as long as you have a sufficient reason. Just doing it because you want to have some fun. The staff member is not in the wrong for placing a ban on you, or taking any sort of action against you, really. Your comments, like "You people should fucking thank me for the help and get over the fact that your sec sucks." and " I did NOT valid hunt any tator, the tator shoulda been more discreete, not my fault he wasn't. You, admins, have way too much power and authority and if all you can do IRL is poke and prod my every descision cause you aint got a good enough life, then I will not play here no more. Go get a life, and quit telling others how to play a game." tells me that you have no intention on conforming to our servers expectations and rules. I also would like to point out your "I will not play here no more" comment. If you don't wish to play here anymore after you broke our rules and were punished for it, feel free to leave. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but all you had to do was follow the rules. The staff member that's mentioned above in this complaint will have no action taken against them, and I find the ban to be valid. Now, if you wish to appeal this ban the correct way, go to the un-ban appeal section on our forums and write a proper appeal, be sure to follow the proper format. You forgot to answer a question. "Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career?" We would also like you to revisit and add some more depth to the question regarding on why you want the whitelist.

Ok. Hello, sorry for the delay. I've decided that a warning is indeed needed, however, not for this reason. @LanceLynxx You displayed a horrible attitude and tone within the ticket between both you and @ParadoxSpace . Paradox is in the right for warning you. Just not for this reason. Yes, you should avoid saying "find out icly" to a new player, or someone who genuinely needs help, but it isn't exactly warning worthy. However; your conduct and behavior in the ticket are warning worthy. I will be deleting the current warning and advising Paradox to place a different warning, regarding your attitude and conduct in the ticket. I will also be locking and archiving this within the next 24 hours.
