Cult spams it before they have enough people, which is annoying to everyone. So, I see two options. A:Force a delay every time it is used, 5-20 seconds, or even 60 mayhaps, it'd encourage cult to actually coordinate their positioning and stop the rapid-fire spam, give every cult member standing near the rune the message, "You feel Nar'sie push this realm's walls, before ebbing away, he'll need to muster effort for another push." B:Stop cultists from activating the rune when they don't have enough people, they won't blurt out the words and the person trying to activate it gets the message, "You feel you need more strength and numbers before you can bring the Dark Lord into this realm." Either works in my eyes.

I too, am a CMO, and I only know exsanguination is related to blood-loss, maybe, I'm not actually looking it up. I have no idea what hemostimulent might mean and I wouldn't know what a Comminuted is either if I didn't read this thread first. Don't worry Jackboot don't pay any attention to those nerds who actually look up medical terms to feel smart in 2D spessmans.

If access to firelocks is put under general engineering access I will be sad. Today, Nuke ops blew up science which leaked into departures which two people were inside, I got my space suit and bed and pronto'd over there, departures has a double-firelock system separating it from the hallway, which are packed tighter then most, the result is a blinking firelock having to be crowbarred regardless of whether it opening would vent the hallway or not, having to be crowbarred, which is tricky when you're dragging a bed in tow, because you need to maneuver it around so that the closing locks don't force you to stop pulling the bed, since crowbarring all the locks'd vent the hall. The end-result of this was me having to mess around with the firelocks for far longer then I should've to get one person out (And I gave up on pulling them out, I just grabbed them and threw them out into the hall while I was standing on a lock because you throw people based on the tile you're standing on) and the other simply died. Now I'm wondering, why don't Paramedics have access to blinking firelocks? Generally they need to get through the things even faster than an engineer would because their job involves retrieving incapacitated personnel in a time-critical manner, something that prying and fiddling with firelocks doesn't really agree with. Paramedics and EMT's have had EVA access for far longer than Medical Doctors and other medical personnel have had, as such, I propose giving Paramedic-and-alt-title access to open blinking firelocks without delay.

That's already a thing, watch out for cargo's great puppy swarm they do on occasion.

Terrible, you can stay in mouse prison.

do you identify as a furry* do you like erp** do you think mice are awesome*** If you say yes to any of these then you'll probably be right at home. Welcome to the NSS Aurora (except it's actually NSS Exodus right now). *We do not have more then the standard amount of furry races. **We do not actually permit ERP. ***We have a shitton of mice mechanics due to a certain someone.

If said idea goes through, then I personally would be satisfied. Perhaps, but it's not just killing crewmembers, that's the extreme scenario, more often there's something such as someone taking people hostage, red alert is swiped for, and then suddenly there's a lightning speed borg rolling into the situation, lasering them down, and then they're recovered by medical. Basically I'm saying that for normal red alert, it's overkill even with restraint.
-
As it is right now, when red alert is swiped for, any synth with the option to choose a module can be a combat cyborg. Me, and various other people who'll likely chip in, find this to be a problem, because the combat module is made to be used against external threats, these space carp migrations that come every round, Heavily Armed Nuke Ops, maybe particularly scary heisters. This makes sense because sending the expendable robot to kill things instead of the hard-to-train organic is a plus, but I protest this being made available when it's red alert, as people have probably noticed, whenever it's red alert there's almost always a borg that gets module swapped to combat, even if it's not an external threat. This does not make sense, borgs are generally not meant to kill people (aka crew) unless they have to, and combat borgs do not have tasers, batons, cuffs, or any of that stuff, they're explicitly designed to kill stuff, all they have in their armory that's not lethal is a flash, which is not particularly good for keeping people down and harmless. Red alert is not always called because of carps or pirates, but these borgs are still made available to kill some crew hostage taker, or mass-rioting crew. To deal with that, I propose the availability of the Combat module be made as another swipe option separate from red alert, as well as having procedures made for its use, basically, "Is non-crew attacking the station Y/N?" "Y" "Swipe for Combat borgs." Keep it for Delta alert if you want, I merely want it out of red alert.

While Poly does have a radio he uses to besiege the engineers, he only repeats things he hears in person. Whiiich, considering that the Exodus map has the CE's office overlooking engineering's lobby....
-
Not really realistic, it's a biological thing, when the mouth stops being Tajaran the r's stop rolling, if the borg was particularly insane then it it might roll r's, if it was simply distressed though? Not so much.

Nope. I'm a surgeon, more stuff to potentially do is fun, support.

[Denied] Absynth's Head of Staff App
Fire and Glory replied to Absynth's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
Although I have never interacted with Sofia in person, I have seen the results of her Xenobotany experiments. In no planet is filling your entire area of work with out of control plants considered to be ultimately get genuine cost efficient results, while if they made good results I imagine they may keep their job, I very much doubt Nanotrasen'd promote someone who can't keep their experiments under control, the typical mad scientist who plunges into everything wildly tends to turn a large radius around them into a horror show that needs space marines to deal with, not exactly something a corporation'd want. 1-. -
*swag Will stop the tail's wagging.

If you type *qwag then the Tajaran tail sprite wags without pause, by default it wags every full two-three seconds.

I am sick of this song and dance regarding the nuke and would support anything that gets rid of this 'half the crew knows there's a nuke on board' thing, and so, I support this as well. -

Add (limited) assignment laptops to each head of staff office
Fire and Glory replied to a topic in Archive
I give this my support. At least once I have called for an incompetent staff member's demotion but due to me and the HoP both being busy, it just never happens, Heads of Staff should have control over their own departments. -
Reporting Personnel: Kah'jarl Qua'ra'dynh Rank of Reporting Personnel: Detective Personnel Involved: (Name, Rank: Offender/Witness/Other (Ckey)) - Kah'jarl Qua'ra'dynh, Detective, partial witness and reporting personnel ((Fire and Glory)) - Azza Nazkiin, security officer, witness ((Snoopy11)) - Avery Bell, Detective, partial witness. ((serveris6)) - Snorri Danehaldenborg, offender. ((Roderick Grey)) Time of Incident: 20:15-20:33 station time, 22/08/2458 approximately. Real time: 23/08/2016 UST 12+, be0zTf Location of Incident: Head of Personnel's Office, Chapel. Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury [X]Destruction of Property []Neglect of Duty []Harassment []Assault []Misconduct []Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: The incident first started when He saw Danehaldenborg go by the Medical emergency entrance with the Head of Personnel's dog in tow, a few seconds after seeing this, an engineer reports that the Head of Personnel's office has been broken into, He and Avery Bell did some forensics, and Danehaldenborg's fingerprints were indeed around the office, and we reported this to Officer Azza Nazkiin. Azza Nazkiin went to the chapel, where Snorri was apparently SSD, later He hears a call for medical to the chapel, and he see's Snorri bleeding on the ground, Nazkiin explained that the chaplain woke up, put his hood on without a word, and drew hatchets from his satchel, Nazkiin demanded he drop on the ground, the chaplain made no response, and she shot him with rubbers and cuffed him and then brought him on the crew transfer shuttle. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?:There wasn't any time to do so, due to transfer. - Additional notes:He wishes for this to be stored in case of any repeat incidents.

Remove station drone fabricator. Allow drones to spawn on the derelict.
Fire and Glory replied to Dreamix's topic in Archive
I agree with Dreamix, really. If there's a breach or something's broken and engineering isn't getting on it ASAP, then there's a likely chance that some bored drone is going to just fix it. Which is sort of erh, lazy, or whatever the word is that I need, this entity isn't here to talk to people, or anything, it's just here to make most of the problem just go away, just like that, a little skitter bot fixing the problem. Which doesn't strike me as quite right, crew and actually...real? Entities should deal with their problems, ERT has an engineering section for a reason, my own ERT has a few basic backstory points and a personality, as opposed to a drone that doesn't even talk. So...yes, that's my two cents. -

Grab a recorder, camera, and other such things, record deviant behavior, send it to Hive. If you wanted to be an actual undercover agent, then I 'spose you would work something out with Hive, but it's snowflake and I wouldn't expect much traction there. -

I 'spose, I actually want to get taken away by the kitty police as a result of someone else seeing me pulling treasonous shit at some point though. Just not the same if the character doesn't show up one day because I arbitrarily decided someone found out, s'not the same at all. -

Well I mean, what'd happen instead? I have some doubts that treasonous Tajara'd receive the re-education that the deviants get, doesn't really seem like something that'd work, idunno. -
Investigations And Character Removals - [CANCELLED]

If a character is reported as being part/supporting the Liberation Army or the New Kingdom, with reliable evidence, is everything skipped to the kitty police coming on the station and taking them away?
