  1. Captain's and Heads of Personnel, whom are also inclined to take looks, both have access to Chief Medical Officer access through one way or another.
  2. Usually impractical, if someone is being/has been cloned then medical is already at least somewhat occupied with things, making temporary storage necessary since sending an intern to drag a body bag through hallways to demand the chaplain (ha) or the AI to open way to the crematory spontaneously is inviting trouble. Although I am speaking from a position where medical rarely has a full complement of staff, meaning doctors aren't usually free to take care of these things in a timely manner. On occasion bodies are needed to be held for autopsies and investigations as well.
  3. There's something that has always bothered me as CMO, certain jobs, like medical staff and detectives, have access to morgue trays for one reason or another, now unfortunately, if one of those people die, and you clone them, they can still look in the morgue tray, and clones looking at their former bodies is a Very Bad Thing, but you can't stop them from doing that without doing some access removal that may very well infringe on their job heavily. Now since certain individuals have/can get CMO access (captains, HoP's, clones are not all that rational to be above giving themselves access to take looks.), I propose giving the Chief Medical Officer a physical, electronic key in their office, if they use the key on a morgue tray, nothing can unlock it besides the key or an engineer along with (or maybe replacing??) the regular access needs to open one. That's all really, I believe something needs to be put in place because there are a fair few amount of individuals with access to the morgue.
  4. Since we're talking about a hardsuit module, making it run off the hardsuit's cell is probably the way to go.
  5. Not really as much of a change as I would personally like (or suggest) but that's also good to add on.
  6. I could argue it wasn't all that clear regardless but I digress and you are right because I hate forums. You actually do have a good point, I'm not sure if the exclusion in Shadow's ruling was an intentional decision or not, although personally I dislike the idea of Captains straying outside of the Head of Staff area entirely.
  7. Are you sure? As far as I can see this addresses your complaints.
  8. Yes, I expect punishing by backstory (as we do for all racial whitelists?) would be easier.
  9. To echo the other opinions, I don't see why we can't slam shells behind a double-whitelist of IPC+Xeno (dubious usefulness, they're not supposed to have much to do with xeno's anyway) or to more simply just punish those who're using them for mimicry, since shoddy backstories is a whitelist-strippable offence. I am saddened by the loss of potential.
  10. If you get cuddly with a Nurse spider after the baymerge then sometimes you'll get a spider egg infection, this basically means spider noises come from you until some time has passed, then spiders start swarming out of your limb and you have about 4 full seconds before they grow up and eat you. Right now it's impossible to know where the infection is unless you use a body scan them or the spider start coming out, so I propose some things. First, modify one of the stages of the infection, to my understanding it is >infected>spiders grown(which means the spiders start making noise)>spiders leave the body, I suggest making it so that when someone reaches the spiders grown stage, they start making red text like "You see shapes moving under the skin of Lemony Griffon's Right arm/groin/left leg/what-have-you, this'll make it so that people can be suitably horrified and pushed into action to cut that shit off. Second, the spider should remain breeding in the severed limb if possible, so they'll start coming out of it after a bit. Third, make it so that if spiders start hatching from a limb, that limb gets completely mangled, gibbed, detached, or just hit with a lot of brute, whatever, this'll make people more motivated to cut off the limb since it'll get ruined anyway.
  11. This is my Lucy cat There are many other cat's but she's mine and she's adorable.
  12. So I had misread. Very well, I am satisfied with your answers and see no immediate reason why this application should be denied, my support is given.
  13. This part consists mostly of stating the mechanical differences rather then actual roleplay differences, picking the low-hanging fruit essentially. The backstory seems quite quite solid, although the EVA qualifications+mental unstability sounds like a way to fuck with security, which has been a problem with IPC's who can't be stunned, how much would you say you are going to attempt things with EVA and things security might not like generally? I've interacted with Theevildude somewhat, they seem to have a decent grasp of things and don't break any lore to my observations.
  14. I'd argue cloning the antag just to put them into perma is even more of a dick move, and it'd be fairly likely for security to hit them with that before they can get their shit and get out. The antagonist analogue being the antag putting you into a cell they made while their antag buddies stand guard forever, not really paying attention to you.
  15. pls no my cmo isn't actually qualified for that just get the psych
  16. I'd figure they'd probably exist in some form of organization or other, but probably not any serious scale threat to be worth notice, but shrug. The coalition literally fired the first shot in the exchange that completely destroyed Moghes, they're hated. I'd wager ballistics, traditional melee arms, and perhaps the occasional vehicle. My 2-cents.
  17. Being so cramped that both IAA and whatever interviewee is around tend to have troubles getting past each other makes it a problem. It just need a little more walking space.
  18. Actually it was kind of cramped. Regardless, one thing I have seen of the IAA's office is that it doesn't seem to really be made for interviews, you typically need to move one of the chairs around and accept that there's no designated spot. Take from that what you will.
  19. I am fine with this.
  20. I would like this. I especially like how hairline fractures would create a need to get a checkup after getting in a fight, medical issues that are not immediately obvious but create complications would be noice.
  21. IPC's fall under 'Synthetic lore', which is what the IPC loremaster oversees, sooo..Nebulaflare, or BotanistPower, (I have no idea what IPC lore is doing right now), though since both are unresponsive, Jackboot I guess.
  22. I would note that after all, only a few Unathi players play all that much, and most of them already have their established characters to stick to, so I don't really think there's much risk of sudden Mariziite invasion.
  23. Yes...NT's basic military response to anything is ERT, but if things are really bad then the Asset Protection Team comes in, though I believe that for the purposes of 'Nanotrasen Navy', it's typically ERT.
  24. What if they got put in the custom loadout and Serveris got one as a custom item? All those other lizards can put in points for them while Serv gets his own for free, if that's not too 'special' of a compromise.
  25. Eh. Odds are good. Why do we care? If you want to, sure, it would be acceptable. But at best it would be like the pledge in America, something that is only said by aspiring citizens, school children, and politicians. It probably wouldn't even be that significant, since the nation is so young. I see no benefit in specifying this. . I'll make a small addendum no one probably cares about and say that Unathi do need to make an oath to cut ties and swear loyalty to Biesel if they want to live or work in Tau Ceti.
