1. I found Galaxy On Fire 2 on the iOS to be rather fun a while ago.
2. Fires the Kiwidwarf would like to be in the turn order.
3. It would be nice to have up to date information on whether or not security vests are mandatory written down somewhere.
4. I do care : (
5. This has more to do with dev oversights rather than uniform actually*. Due to being new and thus not completely implemented, Zeng-hu and other bots have not been added to the races permitted to spawn with gear harnesses. If you tried to do so with a baseline IPC I am 70% sure it would go through. Just some background as to why this is a thing, the actual request of the suggestion'd be much the same. *Both baseline IPCs and industrials* used to be able to spawn with these. **Industrial IPCs have been renamed and thus probably cannot spawn with em anymore.
6. R&D should be able to construct proximity activated spring legged mouse traps. If a mouse enters a radius around one then it will instantly pounce and chomp down on the vermin. I also want to set a mouse on fire by tying an igniter to it. Wooden tiles need to catch fire already. It should also be possible to mount mining mechs with a 3 tile wide thermal drill along with an ore vacuum and jetpack. EDIT:I've been reminded. If you target someone's head and spray them with cleaner, it should put out their cigarette. We should have a whitelisted class of peeps who are allowed to shoot anyone they do not like. When can we have taser prods built into canes? I want one.
7. Let us put bees in storage items.
8. we should just remove cloning and vaurca and IC discords that would be good
9. Just ping them on Discord until she looks.
10. Lord it is! Where does Not'Zar lie on the ladder then? Isn't that the Hegemon? Edit: I have also added in a snippet about the general being declared as the inheritor of Cossaixa land. (which is really just a large desert in the wastelands) If there is no Overlord of Moghes then it is likely that the Hegemon/lord-regent rules over the affairs of that planet, thus the two overlords of Ourea and bug planet serve (or should I say 'serve', who knows what they're getting up to) Not'Zar Izweski, currently lord-regent and possibly heir for the Hegemony.
11. surely it is something wrong with your browser
12. There's several lobby music tracks, last I checked. This is my best guess as to the one you want. Ground Control to Major Tom... Or perhaps this.
13. Here is my proposal for a major do-over of the brig. There are no doors into the communal brig, see, and in the middle is a tower. At the top of this tower is the warden, there are no ways off the tower, his duty is eternal. The most notable feature on the top of this tower is the control system for the giant claw machine that hangs over the brig. The control system is a giant tub filled with mind interface goo, this will allow the warden to put all his focus into controlling the claw. When he controls the claw, his view switches over to it and it moves as he would move. When security brings in prisoners for processing, the warden moves the claw over the prisoner, picks them up and drops them into communal, when their sentence is up, he will pick them up and remove them. Rowdy prisoners can be pacified by picking them up and dropping them until they stop. This is a brilliant idea and we need it.
14. Just dropping in to say I would like for you to work on your OOC demeanor if you intend to be a head of staff, whitelisted players do not need to be nice all the time but most of my memories of you OOCly have you come off as wrapped in sandpaper. Looking through your recent forum posts you seem to be more courteous of late so perhaps you are working on it already, but those are my two cents at any rate.
15. I was generally referring to the fact that the rest of the application seemed to have completely glossed over any lasting effects, but anyway, so long as Tomiix acknowledges that the scars are there, which they have, I do not have any issues with this application.
16. A good chunk of you shits aren't mentioning thoughts on the application itself, for all I know you lot didn't actually read it, shame on you all. I for one have not interacted with any of these characters and did not even know your ckey was a thing up to this point, so I will judge this application by itself. Kind of short for a paragraph but I do not blame you. That's a good answer. The backstory seems generally solid, I am kind of dubious on the idea of whether or not Nanotrasen itself would buy IPCs auctioned by Sol but given nothing says anything either way, I'll conclude that everything seems good 'und I endorse this.
17. I do not interact with these characters and I find Tomiix somewhat annoying OOCly so we will judge the app on its own. This is alright, except you misspelled 'than' at the start. I do not see how to be honest. Try not to overdo the rebellious thing. Anyways the rest of this is fine. This kind of rubs me wrong because the Hippocratic oath is a human invention, it's sort of fine because he might've seen it on the internet or something but personally I would've said he swore an oath to himself to ease suffering or such. I am a bit mystified as to what NPA stands for but it probably makes sense. Now, I am reminded of a snippet I read on the internet, which is always correct, that said that doctors tend to experience heightened amounts of stress compared to other professions. Add that onto being literally tortured as a Prisoner of War after the stresses of combat and I am a bit surprised that he's not a complete wreck, or at least somewhere below being just peachy fine, but whatever. Maybe he got rock solid mental training in that special training of his, maybe you're one of those people who leaves stuff out and he actually is a wreck trying to keep a happy facade, or maybe he's some sort of masochist. PTSD isn't my thing so I won't push this too much. Overall the application seems okay. The backstory hits the notes of start, middle and end correctly, and I will tentatively endorse this.
18. 'Ere's a quality suggestion, we need alien doggies. They're like regular dogs except they're really smart, alien looking, and they have opposable thumbs. They act as buddies to the crew, they can retrieve items of normal or smaller size, and defend people. Like assistants but actually desirable. To add onto their buddyness they come with a special harness that you can apply your ID to to give them access. Rumors have it that certain entities have figured out how to attach weaponry to this harness and hook them up to the dog's brain, but this is surely a myth. You can get 2 from cargo, or maybe from xenobio- nah fuck that we'll never see 'em, or maybe you could get some from merchants instead. I might actually reword this and put it in suggestions some day. Bonus points if they replace Vaurca.
19. Elaborate, probably. Anyways that is significantly better, thumbs up.
20. I'm back and the memes are better than ever. #nanako ptsd
21. Yeah I kinda felt like they weren't an orphan but it didn't say. Anyway it all checks out, one plus.
22. I see you have no replies, lets take a look then. I do not know these people so we will judge the application on its own merits. Typical stuff, nothing to note here. I feel like half of this should be in the 'why do you want to play this' question. So we have have established that Tajara have different body language, how about their social aspects? Those any different? Decent name, hmhm. I feel like you might've caught the wrong end of the stick here. There were two civil wars, yes? The second one is generally messy but it's the first one that's most important in this case. To sum it all up. Approximately 80% of all Tajaran history consists of the working classes being oppressed by the upper classes, the Njarir and partially the M'sai dominating the Hhararhaarahr (yes I misspelled that) and the Zhan'kazans, and then 2 or 3 dozen years ago humans came, the working classes had something to compare their backwards society to, and decided they were sick of this and started a revolution to overthrow their overlords. The thing to keep in mind is that 95 to 99% of these overlords were Njarir, most of the noble families and the Njarir as an ethnicity ended up slaughtered, the only Njarir that survived were those that went into hiding, those who got booted out of their noble family at some point due to scandals like having a peasant lover or such, and the Hadii. What this means is that your Njarir girl would not have been unexposed to hardship because they'd have been suffering it for most of their life. Tajara are also expected to have strong political opinions regarding the second civil war due to it deciding what course the planet is going to take. Either supporting one of the factions or having good reason not to support any. I suggest you give the wiki another go over, and I cannot support this application without a good deal of reworking. Eyelessraven I'm shitting up your application yo
23. Roleplaying differences d00d, not mechanical differences, what makes them come across differently than some human Joe on the station?
24. 'Aight lets go take a look at this. As per usual I don't know any of these people so we'll be judging by the merits of the application alone. Solid answers generally. I must say the latter answer is fairly different from what I usually see on apps but I believe it's still correct so lettuce move on. Decent name, not too bad. Correct me if I'm wrong but this would make Selukh an orphan no? And orphans end up under one of the two orphanages on the wiki I believe, I dunno. Also you misspelled society, 5 points detracted from house Hufflepuff. Anyway moving on. Stuff seems alright, not a fan of 'combat engineers' m'self but whatever. Now I am a bit leery of this part, specifically the part where he's a station engineer, a roboticist, and a cadet and presumably a security officer later on. I believe that engineering is a rather jack of all trades field of work while robotics is really specialized, and that while there is overlap, being in both would take some doing. You'll need to ask Jackboot because the wiki is shite but the wiki also states that, while you merely need 7 years experience doing something related to be an engineer with no school credentials stuff, roboticists need an actual degree. Then there's the security thing, I am bothered by the fact that you'd do that along with engineering or whatever but I suppose you can. Overall the backstory is solid though, it's a little shorter than I normally see but it says everything it needs to, there's a beginning, middle, and end. It states the guy's motivations, how he lived, etcetera etcetera. Bretty Gud. Nothing to say here. You say you have good grammar but you misspelled society, this may be grounds for denial, hm... Not to worry, whitelists both accepted and denied will be accepted into the archive. In closing I'll say this application is probably going to be approved in one form or another, I'mma endorse. Also since I only quoted you with copy-paste, here. DriverMonkey
