  1. I'm going with a -1. My sentiments echo a lot of other folks, and mainly, my concern is how utterly seriously you take this game, and how bent out of shape you get when things don't go your way. It isn't healthy, and it definitely isn't behavior I want to see from a whitelisted player. As the great masters once said, "Sometimes you need to take a step back, have a wank, and come back later."
  2. I mean, I'm a little worried about suddenly having a Mariziite invasion on station if such becomes the case, myself. It looks super cool, yeah, but as soon as everyone and their brother has a set, it loses the "oh shit" factor.
  3. Sorry this took so long. I'm willing to unban you, but you need to read, understand and follow our rules much more closely in the future. Understand that because Aurora is Heavy RP, we take our rules and atmosphere much more seriously. With this in mind, what you did was fairly harmless, and the ban was placed largely due to your past notes, on top of logging out mid-contact. Follow our rules in the future, and keep straight, yeah? Appeal Accepted.
  4. Agreed. While I'd love to have custom chassii for RED, Inic and Nebula's Echo systems, it just doesn't fit the lore right now, unless somebody brought their own M00N card on station with them.
  5. Hardly. In fact, I've got another incident of you appearing to think you hold personal rights to company property you illegitimately purchased on Trulock. Trust me. You have a long, LONG way to go.
  6. Honestly, I don't think you have what it takes to play as a head of staff. You need a lot more time and experience here before that, especially given my experiences with you. They've left a slightly sour taste in my mouth, and Troy in particular gives off an extreme vibe of poor sec play, immaturity and generally, the attitude you expect from a green cadet, not a commander. I have seen him goad on fights, talk shit to prisoners, and honestly give the department a fairly bad name. -1.
  7. Reporting Personnel: xxxReportedBy Rank of Reporting Personnel: xxxRank Game ID: bAZDZF / b1oEZf ( two particular rounds, this is an ongoing issue and I'm sure you could find examples in any round ) Personnel Involved: (Name, Rank: Offender/Witness/Other (Ckey)) - Adolph Hammerstein, Roboticist: Victim (BathSaltsAddict) - Erika Hartmann, Roboticist: Victim (aimlessAnalyst) - Remeir Stallowitz, Security Officer: Offender (Remeir) - Jamison Kramer, Security Officer: Offender (True_sovereign) - Troy Trulock, Security Officer: Offender (IDK his ckey) - Oliver Stefan, Atmospherics Technician: Witness (Nbielinski) - Riley Finlay, Chief Engineer: Witness (Lohikar) - Eizki Yazikra, Station Engineer: Witness (Canon35) Time of Incident: End of shift transfer, entire duration of following shift. Real time: ( about 0100EST onwards ) Location of Incident: Initially, escape hallway and shuttle. Later, general comms. Nature of Incident: [X]Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property [X]Neglect of Duty []Harassment []Assault [X]Misconduct [X]Other: Sexual Harassment Overview of the Incident: During the cleanup efforts following a blob in the library, officer Stallowitz repeatedly spread atmospherics breaches and issues by forcing shutters, barging into engineering repairs, and allegedly, at some point, attacking the engineers working on repairs. He was brought out into the hallway where Adolph and myself stepped out of the lab. I would add that at this point, Stallowitz had already made several very inappropriate passes and lines towards me, even after told to stop. Several other personnel can also attest to some of his comments and remarks made recently. During this time, we began to verbally attest against Remeir and his conduct throughout the shift. He and officer Kramer were belligerent, dim and unprofessional throughout this, and eventually provoked Adolph to slap him across the cheek. To this, both officers immediately unloaded their tasers into him. I attempted to pull him back by a foot or so and speak up in an effort to diffuse the situation, as I have repeatedly seen Stallowitz beat people with his baton, to the point of breaking bones, and did not want to see my coworker beaten to a pulp this time over. In response, I had a flashbang thrown at my face, and was repeatedly stunned. At this point, the two of us were dragged to the shuttle, where Stallowitz continues to make incredibly lewd and underhanded comments about and to me. In fact, the entire time he was dragging us off, he kept telling me how "pretty" I was. Officer Kramer proceeded to remove Adolph's radio, with the stated reason being that he and I were friends. Then, in the shuttle brig, both of our PDAs and my radio were also taken, and they refused to give them back. The Captain, Eric Derringer, did not seem to care for this breach of regulations. When I called for the Captain, saying Kramer was taking my headset without reason, Remeir proceeded to leer uncomfortably close to me and whisper, exactly, "Shh, Shush, sweet thing. Before I gag you." At Central Command, Kramer and Trulock repeatedly tried to goad Adolph and myself into fighting them, going so far as to throw off their gloves and gear and bang against the windows at us. Yet not ten seconds later, Stallowitz tells me I should come to the bar with him, again, "once this blew over." I'd also like to note that Kramer mentioned the only reason he himself did not beat us in was because the company does not condone it. The next shift, I find myself the only doctor in medical. I make an announcement about sensors, and Stallowitz immediately follows up by insinuating he would be getting hurt "quite a lot" this shift to come see me. I politely told him to sod off, and he told me "Not to be that way, babygirl." Kramer joins in with varied sexist remarks, and throughout the shift, Stallowitz continues to make incredibly crass and disturbing comments towards me. Beyond this, he shows a frequent and repeated lack of respect or memory for basic security protocol, and regularly runs around with weapons drawn and openly displayed on his person. Actions taken: During the second shift in question, an injunction was filed between us by the Head of Personnel near the end of the shift to try and stem the issue. It hardly worked.
  8. Alright. I'm willing to unban you, but I want confirmation that you really do understand the server's rules and atmosphere. From what I recall, you really didn't seem to grasp why you shouldn't have spaced yourself before you logged out on me. How can you show me that you are willing to stick to the rules?
  9. Absolutely! I have never ever had a poor experience with Anomalia as any of my characters. Orr is a great RPer and I believe Anno is more than qualified to be an RD around these parts. I know for sure Sieverts will appreciate the company.
  10. I do it via TeamViewer as well, usually when I'm going to be cooking food during deadhour and need an eye on adminhelps.
  11. BYOND Key:Jennalele Character name:Basil Drabardi Item name:Consortium Magister's Robes Why is your character carrying said item to work? Basil was born and raised with the Tutamen Consortium- A foreign, somewhat transhumanist and knowledge-oriented group of nomads from the quiet, distant outskirts of the Sol system. He is a diligent follower of their teachings, and an active Magister- Of the Machine branch, his main duties were to tend to the Consortium's robots and technology- A typically reclusive task. However, he has been granted permission to leave the Consortium freely in order to learn more from outside, and spread their teachings where the Consortium is lesser known, or even not known at all. The robes themselves are a symbol of status and respect within the Consortium, though they are also considered to be of spiritual importance- It is rare to see a Magister without their garments, within or outside of the Consortium halls. He has been communicating with HR and other necessary departments to have approval to wear them on-station. Item function(s):It's a robe ( and hood ). Just like the normal priest robes, but deep red, with the consortium's sigil displayed across the black tabard. If possible, a verb could be added ( retract hood ) to pull the hood back from the wearer's face. Item description: Deep red robes belonging to a Consortium Magister. A curious symbol is displayed on the black tabard down it's front. Item appearance: Sprite below. Preview: Additional comments: Sprite (and I do believe the coding) has been provided by Critsy! Thank you very much! EDIT: These are very out of date and will need the coders to update/fix the pathing, but the actual sprites are here now. I haven't played Basil in a while, and the last time I applied for this, all custom items wound up going on hold and it was subsequently denied. I'm reviving the character, and would like to try for this one more time. If anyone has updates or revisions to the sprites that they would like to try, don't be afraid to show me.
  12. Oh, also, I have a shittily drawn picture of the coat itself:
  13. Unfortunately, I am going to have to -1 this. My experiences with you, mostly as John Rickets, have shown very poor RP, borderline metagaming and validhunting tactics, and generally, /very/ poor Sec play. I do not think you have the standard that it takes to play a whitelisted species responsibly.
  14. This will generate some wonderful RP, and Zohjar, while also a bit of a little shit, has a great story and history. I am certain there will be some tension between him and Maksim at some point over this.
  15. BYOND Key: AimlessAnalyst Character name: Maksim Vasilyev Item name: Tajaran Naval Officer's Coat Why is your character carrying said item to work? Maksim is an old cat. Before the Revolution, he was a Naval man that worked for the Crown, leading a strong career as a submarine Captain. Despite harboring many doubts with the Crown, he was always very proud of his captaincy, and his sub. Even though several factors led to his ultimate defection to the Rebellion that would become the Republic, he kept the coat. Recently, he found it once more, and has decided to take it to work with him. It is heavy and appears to be made of wool, but the fabric is specially made to allow Tajarans to 'breathe' a little easier, and prevent them from being smothered in the coat when not in particularly cold temperatures. Item function(s): It's a coat. Probably has pockets, /maybe/, just maybe has cold resistance. Item description: A thick wool coat from Adhomai, calling back to days long past. Item appearance: LR sprited this coat for me when he did Zohjar's coat! Here's the DMI. https://www.dropbox.com/s/8201zprxr1hikfb/Mak_Officer_Suit.dmi?dl=0 How will you use this to better interact with crew and/or stimulate RP? It gives people a reason to ask about Maksim and the coat. He has a lot of old stories, and will gladly tell them to anyone who actually asks- Hopefully, this will help give people a reason to say "Huh, this is a guy with a story to tell." Additional comments: Huge thanks to LR for the sprites.

  17. Cane needs to find this so he can steal his lunch regularly. But nah, seriously, I think this would be a pretty cool thing. I'd support it.
  18. Hi, Thasethel here. I was the officer that was on the bridge party. From my perspective, what I saw was the Captain undermining and repeatedly disregarding the authority of the Commander, and never giving explanation or reasoning behind his demands. She made a valid request that at least one officer stay behind and watch the bridge for them in the meeting- It was downright stupid to gather ALL of command staff into one small room without at least an eye out. I'd also like to note that the Captain WAS incredibly rude, and seemed to be offended and insulted that the Commander wanted to first gear into EVA before attending to his orders, given the situation. Within about five minutes, I hear laser fire from the AI core- Not the kind from the turrets that's a bunch going off at once, but brief, rapid burst. I'd figured that someone was in the core, and called it. At this point, the Commander is evidently kicked out of the meeting, and we go to see what happened at the core. But instead, we're called to another disturbance in Research Maintenance. Because the rest of security was ordered into the brig, which was largely depressurized, we had no backup. I had a laser rifle and a riot shield, and came in just ahead of the Commander. We were ambushed by the entire heist team, AND a rogue cyborg that locked us in. There was a brief, intense firefight, but the heist team used a phoron canister to cheese their way through the fight, as nobody wanted to hit the canister and explode everything ever. We call for backup repeatedly, but because the Captain had overridden the Commander's orders, security was a mess, and couldn't get down to us in time. Despite putting up a good fight, we go down, and are captured. The Commander dies on arrival, and Thas gets stuck for an hour or so there. It's at this point I hear the Captain make several EXTREMELY disrespectful announcements on the comms, blaming the deaths on the Commander's incompetence and insubordination. I felt it was INCREDIBLY immature and disrespectful, and unfitting of a captain, not to mention, uncalled for in a situation like that. He had just lost several crew members, it was not the time to be pointing fingers and saying "welp, commander was a retard, gg." It was handled very hamfistedly and disrespectfully. At some point, one of the heisters declares that they're trying to torture Thas. The Captain, maybe through the chaos, didn't get the right memo, and ordered the wrong crewmember. When corrected that it was Thasethel under their captivity, the Captain didn't seem to react further, or correct himself. In fact, I don't recall any reply after that. What happened after that I'm uncertain of, as the heister accidentally cut off one of my hands, letting me free enough to attack her back. They panicked and killed me, so I was out of the round at that point. The point I'm trying to make is: The Captain should be able to trust their commander to lead their own damn department, and not override direct control from the start. He's expected to COMMUNICATE with his other heads of staff, and reach an agreement between them. At no time did I see this- He just went straight for the "assuming direct control" route, which was incredibly disrespectful and ultimately led to Security dissolving into chaos and death. EDIT: I'd also like to add that the heisters shot first. If they had just calmed the fuck down and explained to us, we wouldn't have shot back. But no. Despite going to do 'peaceful negotiations,' you saw us and tried to annhilate us on sight. We weren't going to attack unless you did. Which you did.
  19. Actually, they were using a traitor ID card with a fake name. They wouldn't be recognized as crew by the AI when in the core- lethals did not violate any laws as they were not identified as crew. I was Taras, the officer that came to investigate. I heard a shit ton of stun rounds go off, so its not like Garn immediately lethalled them down. Even if they were one more stun from dropping, or 20, Garn would have had no way to tell, and so when they came back in after waving a gun at my face, I can understand moving to lethals.
  20. I was actually going to draw Fire a picture of CAC with his spider. I'm not sure if it could be incorporated into the custom item somehow, but if I finish it soon, I'll send it over. Maybe make a pixellated version for the spessmens.
  21. As a friend of Owen's, and also someone who has seen his CCIA work closely? Yes. I think Owen would make a stellar addition to the mod team. He's chill and well-adjusted, and I think he could handle the situations thrown at the staff team fairly well. I'd like to see how he does in trial, this has my +1.
  22. Though I'm no longer staff, I believe input when valid (IE, firsthand experience with the events leading up to the ban, witness accounts, etc) is still accepted. And honestly... It kind of seems like you're putting less and less effort into these appeals. What evidence can you give the staff of current that you've changed and should be let back, as Alb mentioned? "Please" on its own really doesn't cut it I'm afraid.
  23. All hail overlord Garn. May he keep the shitty cluwns at bay.
  24. 1: Fix the format as Ricky asked. 2: I'm a little hazy on why you're complaining. It's a known, basic rule of the server that characters (AI and cyborgs included) should not have a lot of knowledge on antags, IE, changelings, xenomorphs, "X IS A TRAITOR KILL HIM", et cetera. When you fix the format of your complaint, please give us some more information on the situation so that we can better understand what happened here.
