  1. Get out.
  2. I feel bad, it's like 90% of the forum users are ganging up on him. Although it still is awful.
  3. While the characters actions may be under Fire elsewhere, the main point that should be taken is that the Flavor text implies that everyone in the room at all times is gawking at your butt, much to the amusement of other players as we remarked about you having two slimes down your pants. Which is a bad sign when half the player base is mocking you either behind your back or straight to your face.
  4. I'm on a roll. Can we shorten the dialogue, currently it's really long and kinda spammy.
  5. What it says on the tin. I'm sick of wizards showing up and going OH MY GOSH IM SO FRIENDLY BRAH, and no one reacting like a sane human being to a man who can walk through walls in a funny outfit showing up on a station that's so far away from everything else it mine as well be inside the middle of a planets core. And you can't actually /restrain/ a wizard, because a wizard will always teleport away. I'd honestly rather we get rid of wizard, but since people have some fetish for this mode id suggest making some sort of blanket rule about not doing this, or pulling a "gonna pretend to be friendly cause everyone won't bother to argue" thing, then whipping fireballs the moment sec asks them to stand down.
  6. You should probably think about how often antags wait for anyone who can grab a actual weapon to leave, or just straight up not have one, and then just robust security because the wizard can always just jaunt away and wait for the stun to wear off. Giving antags easy kill gear and Security pea shooters has shown to work out poorly for Sec. Usually the antag needs to either suck, or we have a particularly clever sec officer, to kill the antag. Eventually we reach that point where it's just up to ERT to avenge poor security and wait to be cloned.
  7. That would also be nice, yeah.
  8. I was pondering it, we should have more distinct traits for the different types of Tajaran. Longer ears, bigger feet, different tails, that jazz. But to be less complicated for the coders and sprinters, I'd suggest adding a variant for all hairstyles with longer ears, and longer whiskers for facial hair. It'd be nice to have some small variances in Tajaran besides fur color.
  9. Yeah, from an IC and Mechanic standpoint, Lasers beat out ballistics for window smashing. I said this like four pages ago, but 3 hits from any laser weapon bursts a window, and I THINK it's five for most ballistic weapons. And you need to go through two panes and the grate.

    Nerf Crossbow

I was positive this meant the tiny stun crossbow That thing is rarely used and terrible. What's the issue.
  11. Look. I think people are doing that thing again. If someone wants to grief, they would do so anyway. The gun would just be a choice variant to stun gunning then batoning. However, the gun would make more sense, it means security is more well handled at the issues that arose beyond a drunken assistant. Like god damn space wizards. Of course, people who are against this won't change their minds, and nor will I. So this argument is moot.
  12. Fuck antags having Force gloves. We don't need Jedi. I stand by my salt pile.
  13. Firstly, this thread went balls out large in the day since I last posted. Secondly, I'll also do the same, I had supposedly been about to be approved to be a duty officer, but the messages just /stopped/ suddenly. So I have no idea. But I'll throw Nik in for this as a temporary HOS, unless someone wants to figure out the duty officer thing. Thirdly, I'd recommend ignoring every antag round where someone complains because they went robust changeling and ate a clip from a Sec officer.
  14. Actually, it's easier to blow a window with a laser weapon then a ballistic. If you target a window with a Protopistol, three shots to blow it open for each window, two for the grate.
  15. As the title says, Scientists shouldn't be able to just whip up Laser Cannons and Law Givers and whatever the hell else awful things they can get without them popping out with a lockbox on them. Suggesting everything above a Proto Pistol gains a lockbox, with the protopistol and below retaining their lack of a lockbox. Frankly, it's just one of those things where every scientist is carrying around a protopistol anyway, we can at least stop it from being advanced laser rifles.
  16. Yeah. yeah. yeah. That's the other point besides complete dominance of melee, is that.
  17. Yeah, it's one of those things where Red sec are not seen as the good guys, at all, jokes aside.
  18. Point is, I'd rather they not exist if it's another toy for RD to use against others, or something Antags get to robust us into pieces. Because thats what will happen, even if the regulars don't.
  19. What Sam said. Trial run it like those damn Bubble PDA's.
  20. We act like people stick to colors in the first place, anyway. We could just have blue outfits along with the red ones as well, but that wouldn't make anyone happy. Of course, I'm pretty sure Jamini doesn't even play Sec, so this argument feels peculiar. Or he does, I have no clue. But as the person who use to Main HOS, I constantly wanted Sec to look more like an actual security force and not a bunch of Bozo's from Star Trek.
  21. You did it. You did the thing. The "when I" thing. I've asked on six seperate occasions for a swap the revolver for a stun variant and was ignored. I've seen other players attempt to gain access to Law Givers and other things as HOS and be denied. for every 1/10 rounds that someone has ever bothered to hand things out, you'll find six where they already had the thing in their satchel to robust someone and three where they'll tell you to eff off. The main point isn't that, tho. This doesn't increase Sec's potential. It increases RD AND antags who are scientists. That's what it always is. That's why id rather not see them even in RD, because then they just become another Lawgiver (I won't stop mentioning them, they have been nothing but a pain) or Laser Cannon. Something I wish I had while I watch a scientist rush up to my dying body to put a few more into me for good measure.
  22. Chaz, we shouldn't be referential. And theirs a far more stupid point to the red, that Sec and Most antags are in red. As well, it leaves people wanting to be more violent because of (Blah blah color psychology ducks) and I just don't want this stupid red outfits like we are a bunch of preppy fans of a football team. And to point out, Command is blue and gold, Sec would be blue and black. Sec is the closest thing to command in terms of the wings by being the one who "commands" law and protocol dictated by command and NT. You don't tell command by dark blue. You tell them by the dark grey (captain coat) cyan (CMO coat) white (Ce hardsuit) brown (RD COAT) or black (HOS coat). Even if you count the blue captain outfit, no bodies going to mistake three sec officers and a detective rushing in as all being the captain.
  23. It doesn't change that the gear is never handed out. Engineers never see plasma cutters, for example, but I've caught multiple scientists with them in their satchels. Id also just remove the damage buff entirely. Because that is a nearly instant kill with the Telescopic baton or the e-sword. The other two abilities are what make this good.
  24. I'm not even going to make a long post. We have like three different people who have sprited this before. Make Security blue. Red is dumb. Red is antagonist color, and it's against basic's of what colors you want the good guys in. It looks bad. Blue looks good. Can we please. If Security must suck because of it's suckiness. Can we at least Fashion souls.
  25. Oh, also to the art thing, I continue to get flustered trying to explain to random people that the character is a Transgender Doctor Khajiit. And to that, I tried so hard to explain this game to other people, they get so confused when I explain Space Khajiits.
