Oh boy, I didn't know we were allowed to count our shootbangs! I may not be able to punch stuff, but I do have a CCW license in the state of Florida, and usually carry a Ruger SP101 chambered in .38 with me.

We need to start having sit-down talks between people with problems, rather than just filing it away to be dealt with another time. Or worse, to let the problem fester and grow.

TishinaStalker Complaint
Rusty Shackleford replied to Rusty Shackleford's topic in Staff Complaints Archive
Tishina, you notice how those are the only four things I said in OOC? I didn't go on to say, "Hey, look at these images, look at this, look at that, this is great!" and start linking images, and then going into detail and then going overboard with it. I simply a statement derived from my surprise that someone would even make that. And the four previous offenses are irrelevant in this case, as I didn't repeat what I did then. ADMIN: PM: Also, I like how you bring up ADMIN: PM: The point of me making short messages ADMIN: PM: As if it has any relevance whatsoever. ADMIN: PM: It is a way for me to express a point. You can't bring up a case in which I was being rude, or disrespectful. I pushed the issue, yes, but only because you were being unreasonable. -
TishinaStalker Complaint

I continued pushing the issue because I wanted to resolve it there and then, without the need to pursue it further. That didn't happen, so here we are with a forum complaint. -
TishinaStalker Complaint
Rusty Shackleford replied to Rusty Shackleford's topic in Staff Complaints Archive
I was annoyed at the time, and while my wordings may not have been the most polite, but I also did not become overtly hostile to him, and I did not disrespect him. -
The only reason I referred to you in the third person was because I wasn't aware of you being online at the time. And sorry if you took offense to me asking why you were still in the lorechat. I didn't really mean to insinuate that you should have been removed, but was rather inquiring as to whether or not you had actually resigned. Because, you're right, I never had a problem with you.

TishinaStalker Complaint
Rusty Shackleford replied to Rusty Shackleford's topic in Staff Complaints Archive
There is nothing left out. I mentioned the results of the google search and immediately got muted. I did call Tish's reasoning for the mute "ridiculous," but I said nothing more inflammatory than that, and he threatened to mute my ahelp because I refused to roll over and accept unjust punishment, no matter how small it was in the grand scheme of things. -
BYOND Key: Rusty Sh4ckleford Staff BYOND Key: TishinaStalker Reason for complaint: Muting me from OOC for no good reason and being somewhat rude. Evidence/logs/etc: I experienced a power outage immediately following the incident, meaning I'm having to post this via mobile and have no logs. Basically, I brought up in OOC that I googled wetskrell.nt out of curiosity, and was a bit taken aback that someone had made a tumblr accout with that name. Nothing more, nothing less. Tishina saw that as a reason to mute me from OOC and give me a warning, though I posted no inappropriate links or said anything vulgar whatsoever. I brought this up, and also stated that if the concept of wetskrell was so vulgar, it would have been removed from the server (and the lore on skrell as well) a long time ago. He then threatened to mute my ahelps. And then there was a power outage. Mind you, the whole time I was being civil, while Tishina came off as dismissive and uncaring. I did not devolve into rudeness or vulgarity. Additional remarks: I understand that Tishina does this for free, and generally does a good job, dedicating his free time to the server. But I feel this was an error in judgement on his part, and part of a larger problem of him being too politically correct, taking things too seriously, and being rather uptight, and I would like to see this addressed. EDIT: Also, I get that I can be abrasive in occasion, and can go overboard. However, this was not one of thise times, and the wetskrell comments were the first OOC things I had said for a while during that round, so there was not inappropriate behavior beforehand.

You were a dick. A massive dick. You never tell an admin to "fuck off," no matter what language you're using to do it. This is not a democracy. You have no rights. You have rules to follow, and a community that tries its best to accommodate you, but will only bend so far for someone who's a massive dick. The admins and developers, and the community as a whole owe you nothing. They don't owe you a goddamn thing. So take that high-and-mighty attitude of yours and go somewhere else where they don't mind being treated like shit.

Tool's Tajaran Whitelist App
Rusty Shackleford replied to mrimatool's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
I want Tool to become a catman. He's been around since the beginning, and he's well versed in being a good roleplayer. The character sounds interesting, as the crime he was convicted of doesn't sound like one that would exclude him from the corporate workforce in the future. Overall, I approve of Toolio's app and his RP abilities. 11/10. -
Forcegloves: what they are and where to put them
Rusty Shackleford replied to duck's topic in Archive
I want this. What I want even more is for EVERY hit to have the ability to send people flying down a hall, and then give them a sprite resembling a displacer glove from Fallout. -
I like to pretend I know Krav Maga because I saw it in a videogame and watched a few youtube videos on technique. Does that count? Hue. In reality I'm as soft as a marshmallow, with low punching power and a gut that hangs over my pants. I always wanted to learn martial arts, but then I made an extremely important discovery: I'm a lazy sumbitch.

I played Halo 1 and liked it somewhat. I also played a bit of Halo: Reach firefight on my younger cousin's Xbox when I visited his family last year. I read the Fall of Reach novel at some point. I also have a heavily modded version of Halo Custom Edition, which is basically Halo 1 but free, courtesy of http://hce.halomaps.org/. H:CE has a surprisingly large amount of people on the multiplayer servers.

I read "cordyceps" and immediately thought of these guys. I don't even need to read the rest to fully approve of CLICKERS.

I live in southwest Florida, in the good old USA. More specifically, Lee county. I won't tell you exactly which city, however. That's reserved for the people who will buy a plane ticket to stalk me to my home. Anyway, it's a nice enough place. It's hot and humid as hell most of the time, but that's okay, since I can't stand dry and/or cold climates. The whole area used to be a swamp until some crazy bastards decided to start dredging canals and turn the area north of the Caloosahatchee river into the world's largest retirement village. But that's okay, lots of old people also means lots of war vets, and I have bought many an antique firearm from gentlemen such as those. There's also a lot of gun shops in easy reach of where I live, and I like that too. I'm within driving distance of the beaches, though I hardly ever leave my home so I wouldn't really know what they look like. Huehuehue.

... No... It's a reference to Percival Lowell, the man that had hypothesized life on Mars when he observed the 'canals' on its surface with his telescope. EDIT: Ohshit it's a reference of a reference we need to go deeper

The RIPLEY mech, a reference to the power loader Ellen Ripley used in Aliens, and the Gygax, which I'm pretty sure is a reference to Gary Gygax, creator of DnD. Also, the janitor jumpsuit is the one worn by Roger Wilco in the Space Quest series.

I didn't create the map from scratch, Vitt. It is one of the projections of the Earth given 500 years of global warming. And yes, a lot of the world is below sea level, meaning that there are a lot of places that would end up underwater.

Global warming. 400 years worth of global warming.

http://gyazo.com/4821772aea3a2b7bff9e5cc308a78fc4 That shows the borders of the Earth's supranational organizations, as well as general boundaries for the megacities, though urban areas would extend even further beyond the pink areas.
