I don't like the utility. Making stuff do stuff so you can stuff your stuff ain't science stuff, it's engineering stuff. Figuring stuff out is science stuff. My suggestion is to remove the utility stuff, remove the useless setup stuff, and buff the stuff out of the stuff for the exploration stuff.

Well my first question is, why didja break the rules in the first place, and what changed so that you feel you won't anymore?

As far as I'm aware, I'm the only staff to have ever removed a warning, due to an very nice appeal that clarified that the situation had been a misunderstanding and that I had been stupid. As for rarity, they're no that rare, since we prefer to give people these instead of ban on first offense, although there are cases where that isn't the norm. As for detrimental and permanent, as a rule of thumb, warnings over three months old aren't considered relevant anymore, although there are cases where they can still play a role. Ignoring a previous warning and doing the same exact thing that got you into trouble last time can be grounds for a ban, and multiple repeated offenses are solid ground for a permaban. Does that answer the question well?

One of the issues with Telesci is that there is NO good way to phone home, so you can't get beamed back, so you just float around like an idiot until 'fortunately' you land back on Aurora, somehow. Closest I've been able to get is having a borg and a AI relay stuff but I can't bring the borg over Z-levels. You can use a pair of signallers to phone home.

Telesci bugs me. People always use it for stupid things, like stealing stuff and saving lives. That's not science. So I offer a simple fix. Make Z1, the station level, unaccessable to the telepad, remove the starting telecrystals, and remove the telecrystal requirement for power. That way, you decrease the necessary setup, remove most of the abusability of it, and make it useful for exploring deep space. Oh, maybe throw in like, a remote camera device that works between z-levels. Like, a handheld sphere with a camera hooked up the telesci viewscreen. That way you can see what you're exploring.

That's how you know the MMI is working.

So I have like, all the characters that I don't play anymore, and although most people don't know or care about most of them, I though I'd straighten things out because people keep asking were X character went: Sabrina Song: Went to college. Tracing the Fallen Sky: Went to med school to become a psychologist. Lobsang: Still around, I just don't play AI anymore due to massive amounts of lag. Dime...: In rehab. Muse: Dead, Dead and Dead. Xiaoqing: My only current active character. If you're wondering why I don't play them anymore, you should readjust your television and then stick it on your head and call yourself an IPC.

The Last Remnant

R&D has always been my least favorite lab. It requires very little skill or knowledge to use, but produces some of the most powerful chuckle-fuckery. At least Telesci requires some skill. TRAVIS DAVIS EAT YOUR HEART OUT It could use a revamp, eventually. I'd prefer we fix fire, and a couple other important bugs first before starting a project like this, but then again, not a dev. Perhaps we might want to keep the Deconstructor for like, more unique stuff. Perhaps it can scan xenoarch artifacts or whatnot. Maybe antag stuff like wizard/cult artifacts. I'm just coming up with random ideas. I'll post more later.
