Second off, I'd like to hear what storyteller has to say regarding the accusation that their forum posts were intentionally baiting and antagonizing, as well as what spacevoidagent has to say for their own actions. Also, at this point, I feel we've reached the fourth layer of complaint-ception, in which I deal with a complaint referencing another complaint, which was referenced by another complaint which was a complaint about complaints. If i run into an issue on the same level as chaz then ill ia it or submit an ic incident report or just ignore it depending on my mood. Only for more extreme situations will i do an ooc complaint. I’m sorry…are you asking me how starting a first complaint could be used as a reference point for later complaints? I mean…you have to start somewhere, right? At some point someone has to put in a first complaint before other complaints can use it as a reference point. That’s what it means to establish a reference point. Or are you asking me why I didn’t comment on the plural/off-putting nature that a number of people reported? That’s simple, I did not experience it myself. I didn’t think the administration would want me doing the “he said she said” drama by saying what I’ve heard he’s done from other people. Instead I opted to report only on direct instances of my experiences. I was leaving it to the other players that also have complaints to comment on their own experience. Unless you would prefer that I list things I’ve only heard in hearsay, I can do that too but generally administration doesn’t like it. Making a complaint about something you wouldn't normally consider complaint worthy, for the purpose of establishing for the record that said incident happened, is a rather aggressive stance to take. It's less of trying to point out an issue, and trying to have it rectified, then pointing something out because you assume that when they make a mistake in the future that your previously minor point can come back to bite them. It's an action done with the assumption that someone won't improve or better themselves. I can't claim to be entirely immune to doubting the ability of others to self-improve, but giving the benefit of the doubt is kinda an essential part of not being a dick yourself. I mean, you had an incident in which you felt that your enjoyment of the game was being compromised by someone else's actions. I think we've all been in places like that, on both sides of the situation. But I don't think anyone here actually wants to make anyone else's round unenjoyable. It's a game, and ultimately, we're all here because we do this for fun. Perhaps it might have been more reasonable to just talk to Chaznoodles, either in LOOC, or after the round, about how you felt their actions?
