VTCobaltblood Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Maint doors inside shouldn't be access-restricted.
Carver Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 I like the changes to maintenance, giving a feel of unfinished/unused rooms instead of the rather haphazard and dumpy feel it had before. Good job! My only criticism is extremely subjective and frivolous, and it's that I enjoyed the charm of the mismatched chairs in the vacant office. As a whole this is a fairly clean update.
ferner Posted February 23, 2019 Author Posted February 23, 2019 I'll think about changing that, Cobalt, as it varies a bit throughout maintenance if they're access restricted or not, I'm not really sure what's best. Thanks for the input, both of you.

I can see where you are coming from, but the maint tunnels arnt something that everyone should have unrestricted access to. (Since we have the maintenance access flag) I would also argue that security has no business running around in the tunnels on green, (since those are maintenence tunnels) but that is something for another topic.

Yeah. So the outside (facing the hallway) maint doors are access restricted. But inside the maintenance shafts, there are no access-restricted doors, allowing, for example, easier access to maint evacuation ladders - as long as you've broken/hacked/otherwise opened a door into maintenance. AmoryBlaine Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Can we please remove that stupid wheelchair racing thing, that's a lot of room that could be used for making the area more maze-like
ferner Posted February 24, 2019 Author Posted February 24, 2019 I'll keep it mind for the future, Amory. As for now I've moved the racks which were in the way at the entrance, and added another airlock in the back. Should make the space feel less of a dead end, So we'll see how it plays out.
Carver Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Noticed one oddity or error so far. The aft/lower left door of the maintenance firing range is inaccessible, at least with Security Officer access.
ferner Posted February 27, 2019 Author Posted February 27, 2019 Thanks for reporting the issue, I'll get around to fixing it when I can.
