Pratepresidenten
Much like booze bottles, give the same behaviour to beakers, chemistry bottles and other glass containers to shatter if they're thrown. Im not sure why this isnt a thing already, its good stuff! Link to comment

Goret
I agree on that. I always see people throwing around glass bottles and that'd be funny when they will notice that glass break. Link to comment
UnknownMurder
You know. My science teacher have told the class to always be careful with glass beakers in high school. The science teacher said as I paraphrase "These glass beaker shits. They break easily. Don't be a glass breaker". I think we should hold them to my science teacher's expectations on the basis that they break easily. I totally did not make this story up or lied about my experience like other people in other threads to prove my point. KingOfThePing
I work in a lab and with many kinds of glass beakers. They break. They all break easily. Too easily. Edited May 26, 2019 by KingOfThePing Link to comment
Conspiir
One unfortunate labmate last year broke 3 test tubes, the top of a mercury thermometer (thankfully the mercury wasn't released, just the little glass bob on the top was cracked off), and dropped a glass cuvette down the drain. We heard the pieces of the cuvette tinkle down the pipes. They should be breakable. But, as with bottles, on harm intent would be enough. And they should probably not have a "broken xx" sprite, just turn into some shards. Link to comment
Fortport
I always just assumed our beakers weren't made of glass because they never shattered. I've never made one at an auto-lathe, so it went in line with what I saw. I say make them shatter. Link to comment
Aphelion
Mechanically speaking, it would be neat. Especially with jars. I want to fill a jar with spiders and throw it at someone when this is implemented. Link to comment

To shatter a glass jar on someone's chest sounds a bit harder in my head than just lobbing it at the wall or floor next to them. Like how I think it'd just bounce off and then break on the ground.
