Feedback: Oscar Easter

He's a Security Officer, my Necropolis one. Been described by most people as a shell that was born, due to how robotic of an individual he is. A Dominian emigre from the slave period trying to adapt to Solarian and Biesellite life.

Doubtful he'll have a romance arc, but you never know.

Yeah I observed him today and I like his style. I enjoyed the back and forth between Oscar and Riker regarding Dominia's slave past and Sol's current IPC slavery etc. Radical. I'll keep my eye out since I didn't see enough to give any constructive feedback.

A very much appreciated character. A complicated one. I enjoy picking his brain, and it feels like the conversations we have actually change the character and how he views situations, making him a lot more receptive than he originally seems imo. Very nice.

After watching some interactions Oscar has had with others I very much enjoy him as a character. That being said I don't have any decent feedback this isn't just wanky. Is there anything you'd like for us to look out for in particular feedback wise? What do you think the character is lacking or what are you having issues with?

I'm always interested in keeping the character more in-line with Dominian Ma'zals. It's my first Dominian character, so I'm not really sure what I should be aiming for. Feedback based on the conduct of Easter in relation to what is expected of the average Dominian would be great.

i hope its not a secret about just how much i love easter. i am legitimately sad when i get on to play and don't see his name in the security manifest. from the first couple of interactions i had with him on natalie i thought for sure he would be someone i'd be butting heads with more often than not, due to his very serious and stoic nature, but every time i talk with him puts him in a more positive light. every bit i learn about him makes me enjoy him more and it really makes me wanna pick his brain and have some more interaction with him.

very good rp and character on your part, seriously. 10/10.

oscar is disciplined to a fault and has a thick, nearly impenetrable shell he's constantly hiding behind - but he's not stand-offish. there are subtleties to him that make you sit back and ask, ''where did this character come from? what made them this way?"

that is excellent character writing and RP performance to pull that off. he's not another sec robot and he's got hobbies and life outside of work that flesh him out as a believable character. it's all of these things that made me so persistent in trying to interact with him and see what the hell is going with that guy. it's an incredible feat to stand out - especially  as a sec main, where you have to be uniform. it's a step beyond incredible to stand out for all the right reasons. oscar isn't some rowdy punk, and in passing, you just might look over him. but with a few shifts of interaction, the quirks slowly build up to make you wonder what's up.

love oscar. even when they're the 'bad guy,' they're a believable bad guy and i'd see myself siding with them if preston weren't so stupid.

another part of oscar that really had me impressed: he's the whole reason i actually started to care about dominia as a place. i was so curious, i had to know what kind of background he must have had, so i actually read dominia's lore and found it really enlightening. connecting the dots between an actual character like easter and the background lore was great fun. this is good lore incorporation.

i'm with zundy, that i don't just wanna wank on your page here, but i've got no critique to offer. he's been a consistent pleasure to interact with from the day i met him.

Brutish, you know that I like Easter a lot, but for clarity:

Easter's good. He's competent, reliable, and professional, and I enjoy interacting with him quite a lot, as it seems that you've put a lot of thought into his character and backstory.
