Colfer
Matriarch drones are a very welcome addition to the game in my opinion, however my excitement for them is cut short by the fact that a lengthy command trial is required, using a possibly entirely unrelated character just to get the opportunity to play matriarch drone. This suggestion is simply to change the requirement to play as a matriarch drone from command to AI, as it seems way more fitting for a person who has been authorized to play a station controlling silicon to also play a maintenance drone controlling silicon, the only argument that matriarch drones have for having a command whitelist is "They tell maintenance drones what to do and occasionally beep and drag crates" which isn't much, while matriarchs requiring an AI whitelist is supported by the fact that they are both silicons, both have laws, both command stationbounds (AI > Borgs | Matriarch > Drones) and more Quote Link to comment

geeves
In my mind, Matriarchs are more like CEs than they are AI. I picture the AI whitelist more like "we can trust you not to ruin a round because you're powerful", while command is like "we can trust you to be a good boss for the other players, and also not to ruin the round, because there will be consequences". Also, I have the Command whitelist and not the AI one. Quote Link to comment
MattAtlas
A role like this fits the command WL more than the AI WL in my opinion. Arguments can be made for both, but ultimately the AI whitelist is specific to the AI due to a multitude of reasons (the interview and the expectations placed on you are all AI-related, for example). Arrow768
Voting for dismissal. Every part of the AI whitelist focuses specifically on the AI. Expanding it to drones, which are under a different lawset, is not within the scope of the AI whitelist. Quote Link to comment
Arrow768
I have also moved this topic to policy suggestions as it isnt exactly a code problem but a policy change related to our whitelist procedure. Quote Link to comment
Pratepresidenten
I really dont care for this suggestion at all, and whats been said by the three above covers it well. So dropping my vote of dismissal. Quote Link to comment
