I'll be taking this complaint. While Tbear does make a good point here in that a character's backstory and etc. cannot justify them breaching a judgement like this, my judgement here lands in a similar place to Synn's: I'd take the time to word my entire statement separately, but most of what I would say was already nailed here. There's a big difference between picking up a piece of soap as a suspended Janitor and fixing breaches as a suspended Engineer. This is an IC issue, and I'll be speaking with Tbear about expunging the warning soon. Archiving in 24 hours.

While you're not an idiot, you can bind a hotkey to "face-direction" as a toggle to lock yourself in the direction you're currently facing: As for Alt+WASD being a default for this, I'm personally not a fan. Alt is a base key for hotkeys, and many people use alt-[key] for macros that they use while they're on the move. Cases of this effecting people negatively would admittedly be very rare but it's a pain to re-bind already existing hotkeys.

To add to this, while reverting the PRs that broke grabs further in first place would be better than what we currently have, and grabs would get more use out of them, there are still other problems with grabs that I'd love to see worked on: With the older grab system you could more easily teleport people to you after they walked away with a throw because of lag, my proposal there would be for yellow grabs to also just lock the person in place unless they resist, which they have a 100% chance to in a yellow grab to work around the teleporting issue. After all you shouldn't be able to just phase through a grab without struggling out of it, no matter how tight.

I'm afraid this application is being denied, due to a lack of support among staff, and the reasons mentioned in this thread and the previous. I suggest that you take some time to avoid run-ins with the rules completely, and familiarize yourself with playing some different roles; learn a new department, play a non-synthetic character with a fleshed out backstory and such, so people can get a feel for your RP capabilities, stay active and generally act as an example player. Here is your last interview, from your previous application in January: The first thing I'd like you to do is read through the entire interview, and post in this thread anything you would like to change in your responses. Moving on, your last app was denied due to an abundance of notes. This problem does not seem to have changed, and barring your here are all of your notes from this year alone: So my second question is, why should we risk a trial if you haven't changed how you handle the rules since your last application? How can you enforce the server rules if you cannot seem to follow them?
