I wanted to make a quick note at the start of this thread. I tried to use as neutral language as possible in order to avoid belittling anyone. If you have any issues with the language used, feel free to make suggestions also. If you feel uncomfortable talking about it in public, feel free to hit me up in private, I'm not open 24/7 but I try my best.

Like the new additions. I feel like we were at a distinct need for actual sci-fi looking sci-fi guns, rather than another dark turd with brown highlights that dissapears when you put it on the maint floor, and turns into a vague mass when placed next to other guns.

Bands, Bots and Break ups; Where are they now? It’s an obvious fact that the freer the market, the freer the people. And with such large markets, it is no wonder that Tau Ceti houses talent after talent after talent. Be they musicians, circus performers, racers or gamers. In this article, we’ll disclose the lives of these living legends walking among us. The ClockWorks are one of the most prolific bands, coming onto the scene as one of the first “recognized” synthetic bands rather than musical equipment. They are well known not only for their musical talent, but also their chemistry on-stage. Today they are still a well recognized Talent on Tau Ceti, but they’ve been working in a new direction and their manager promises that “the next show will reach new heights”. As a result, the band members have been reportedly taking it easy, and mostly spending time on workshopping their biggest album to come. Speculations are, however, still abound on extranet about the alleged mistreatment of the band by their managerial staff. With many fans putting out petitions to have the band members fire their current manager, usually with the petition provider adding that they could function as their manager instead. Most of these online petitions have been either considered illegitimate, or reached nowhere near their set goal of signatures. On the other hand Tau Ceti has become a home of a band that could be described as the exact opposite of ClockWorks, in the fact that they actually abuse their fans. Bloodstorm is a self-described “Tajara Supremacy Gore-Metal Band” which has gained infamy on its planet due to their very violent anti-establishment philosophies and occult undertones. Eventually this has led to their exile to Tau Ceti where they continue their creative endeavour. Critics pointed out that their “gimmick” of upsetting the government won’t work in Tau Ceti, due to the freedom of expression provided, but the band lead Vargir Stenovich claims otherwise. “The audience in Mendell is grreat, back at home he’d say something and everyone would just [expletive] agrrree. Now he mentions genetics, rrobots orr [Slur aimed at skrell audiences] and everrryone starrts [expletive].” Similar sentiments are held by the other band members, with Cecil Kernov having allegedly joined a monowheel crew in D6. With his permission, we are posting a photo from his social media onto here. The only band member who seems to have had issues with the transition is Jano Al-Lung, who has recently been recorded yelling and threatening a worker at the Foreign Travel Ministry for Tajara relations. Hello possible future co-worker, I have some questions Finally, thank you for applying. -
I think "LRP" rounds are a net benefit to the server IF done sparingly. As a player I've enjoyed going gung-ho with friends, acquintances and people I frequently talk with, as an admin it's helped alleviate stress and event experiment with some of the "wilder" verbs we have. It makes the server more of an all around experience for those people who don't enjoy the kinds of people that hang out on servers like /tg/ /vg/ /goon/ /bee/ etc. but still want to have a bit of mindless fun. But to re-iterate These events should be done sparingly, no, 3 times a monht is not sparingly. They should be an exception, not a semi-round-type. These events should be CLEARLY OUTLINED, I agree 100% that the whole "want to make the round more fun?" is an extremely shitty way to vote-sway by being vague. Since "more fun" ranges from spawning one more antag to the round (Completely acceptable on a more frequent basis) to having a clown climb up my ass and explode violently while going "HMM CHUNGUS MOMENT" tl;dr I agree with Danse that the events are too frequent and not clearly outlined. I disagree with Danse that they don't add anything or that breaking the atmosphere is fundamentally bad (again, if done sparingly).

The white version of the uniform is overly-shaded, looks metallic. The blue version looks okay. Better than the current uniform we have.

Hay is hard working, approachable and friendly. I've gotten feedback and given feedback on multiple points and each time it's been a good learning interaction. Although there are still a few things to consider for me before I give an endorsement. But, I still have a few questions, spoilered to keep the thread short: Outside of those questions, I have nothing but positive things to say about Hay. They've been a good influence on the team in general and have been a capable writer up to this point.

The questions I was going to ask were asked, I've talked to people and overall there is no problem and you seem to have a healthy attitude. I don't really see a reason why I shouldn't accept you. Application Accepted. -
