  1. What. Just. What?
  2. Well, Coalf show his proof at being a Warblywarble and a Toaster. Now he's trying to play a Tajaran. And I want to see that to burn him with reasons. He's alway been good at character development. I want to see that.
  3. Micro-transaction on community servers are like poor kids with terminal phase cancer, AIDS, Ebola and Leukaemia in a third world country: They'll die really fast. Only way a community could get money from would be donations. No micro-transaction, no Donators perk. Just simple donations to show you appreciate the server you're playing on. And even if the service is just "cosmetic", its like opening a hellgate in the DOOM's universe, going half in and saying "Oh nothing could go wrong". Slowly it will degrade to more and more services, before ending like any EA's game.
  4. Okay so that whole Mice Meme is getting really, reaaaally out of hand. I mean, we're getting Staff complaints about mice, Player complaint about mice... Suggestions against mice.. I mean, mice are just here for spectators that just want to annoy the crew... They're still basic creatures. At least, let science use them for science.
  5. All I was doing was my job, and a merc blows it up and tries to kill me. Defending myself with the only weapon I had is hardly "shitty". Who was the merc? I'd like to hear their opinion. I was one of the merc. But I think the merc you killed was Alberyk. Hunnewle was the one that made the first bomb explode (With him, in a sacrifice manner) to fuck up some of the sec team. When we heard the second explosion, we thought it was a fuel tank, but the concussion made by the explosion fucked communications for 5 minutes. It was hard to do shit after that.
  6. Ayyy, that's Riley, the guy that alway help my Helmut rebuilding the genetic lab More seriously: He's been sometime promoted as Interim CE, and did a real good job coordinating engineers (even the catgineers !) so they don't end up blowing the station. Not only he is competent, but he get the job done (He even change the "automatic" valve in atmos by a manual one, you know, to avoid ":b releasing phoron")
  7. Wald is the goddess of sloot More seriously, finally a doctor that just doesn't rely on Mechanic ! hourray! (she's still a sloot)
  8. I guess I may be biased, but totally +1 from me. Rabit's already got some experience in Alien species (aka Skrell).
  9. Maybe also add to APCs some kind of function to control the light level or similar. That could also be used by antags to be stealthy, without having to FULLY turn off the lights.
  10. The only situation that should have been prevented was my relative inability to use the explosion as forward momentum, due to having to PM a trial moderator back and forth for the remainder of the round because of a subjective interpretation of the rules as they were written at the time this was done. There could have been hostage-taking and outpost-fortifying, but instead I was dragged into a discussion about the nuances of certain rules. You can't claim that the round was fresh by any stretch of the imagination - it'd been nigh on three hours since the round start, and it's hardly as if this was my opening move. It was never my goal to remain undetected, and I didn't even bother with forensic countermeasures or disguises for any of my actions. The security team didn't even consider forensics; they simply chalked it up to a guessing game, shrugged their shoulders, and 'kept their eye out.' Not that it's the most important of details, but: We actually did consider forensics. We also checked around cargo for supply logs a bit, but at the time, no turrets had been found yet, and we thought whoever was doing it was in science. Only after the turrets came up, though, did cargo become particularly suspect. Ah, I should have clarified that: When Garbage joined in, we still hadn't any Forensic tech/detective. But when we finally got one, his first lead was something about black gloves and armor or something, leading to security officer rather than Cargo. Then the turret incident kinda changed that.
  11. And I was the confused HoP slash Acting Captain, I was there since almost the start of the round. You blew up the SM core, and that's what made us, (by us, I mean Complete Garbage and his team, I was totally clueless for a moment.) understood YOU were the damn traitor. Before that, we though it was either one of the scientist or even one of the security officer. But well, when we got our shits together and realized, who could have access to Weapons, Emitters and a GOD DAMN SUPERMATTER CORE (aka after explosion), we knew it was you, the only one working in cargo, (excluding me.) TL;DR: SM core exploded when we didn't even had a single clue on who was the tator.
  12. Ahah, Synth playing a Synth. More seriously, +1; He already got a diona and tajaran app, and know how to play them.
  13. I was the said Captain. When the officer took me as a hostage, she didn't had any weapon (took me by surprise.) She pulled her weapon out at the moment AI turned off the lights. So well, when I took the bullet, both Fenrir (Aka Roderick) and I were surprised about a Mk 58 being actually loaded with lethals.
  14. ... A pachinko machine poster in the CMOs office? that's for you Ricky Our favourite Pin up "GIRL" poster in a saloon girl dress? Space bear Poster, maybe. ERPyro poster AND ONE ABOUT SAFETY AROUND SLIMES IN XENOBIOLOGY
  15. I used to learn Poly how to insult engineers. Give me Poly back
  16. Code: Select all Byond key: Pyrociraptor Character names: Jonathan Joleculington , Helmut Kronigernischultz, Explorator (Shaft Miner), Emmerich Mullerizoschulizt, Sophia Misrebelt ,PyroBOT, Treilis (For ERT), Eric Treirimel. What times are you available? In GMT: Usually from 4 pm to 9 pm during week, all time during sunday/saturday Do you have any experience with Moderating? Or similar. A bit on SS13, but mostly on other games (alway Related to Roleplay Moderation.) Why do you want to be a Duty Officer? Jokes apart, I want to play a new role that involve about making sure the station doesn't implode because of peoples hating each others. How well can you handle stress? Stress isn't much of an issue for me, as the hard part of my jobs create a lot of stress (Where a simple mistake lead to being fired), and I handle it pretty well. What does it mean to be a Duty Officer? the DO is here to make sure the station doesn't fall apart from the inside because peoples are hating each other, reducing productivity inside the station, and thus profit. (Aka what NT DOESN'T want to happen). Its also about responding to faxes, either about the Captain not doing his job to everyone being cut apart by some madmen in robes. How active on the forums and server are you? I am now here everyday, either on the server than the forum. Though more active on the forum during day and on the server during evening/night. Anything else to add? I'll may need a quick formation. Either from Mofo or Whiterabit
  17. You god damn sword stealer Also it has my characters now
  18. Small bump for small update in the app (number of day passed)
  19. Definitely a +1 from me. Lukas know his shit, doesn't fuck around and know RP.
  20. Synnono is serious, great roleplayer and not a chucklefuck. +1
  21. A bit of a story first: 2 days ago, I was playing as a chef, and after serving Captain LeChiffre (UnknownMurder), he asked me where was the napkin. Obviously, I panicked as the item simply doesn't exist aboard the NSS Exodus, a 25th century highly advanced research station. Now, You'll ask "But Pyro, why the fuck do you want napkins in the game, and how the fuck will they work" Don't worry ! I've separated the ideas in two parts, Primary ideas (AKA thing I really want to see if it get implemented), and Secondary ideas (aka extra bonus). Primary ideas: Secondary Ideas: Now, where could it be found? It could be found in boxes: Inside the kitchen, or chef spawn with a box of napkins Maybe in the custom loadout menu In the janitorial closet or spawn with the Janitor In break rooms / Locker room Medbay of course, maybe in virology
  22. Admit it, you mostly want it for your mute Engineering Apprentice, don't you? On a more serious note, We need it. It could allow people from different departments to speak to each other without spamming the common channel or stealing others department headsets.
  23. Nope, every time I see Pennington, she's just breaking directive four, planting shit outside of the science department without any paperwork, creating fast spreading random plants that usually end up in Engineering charging with fireaxes, and a lot, if not everyone, being unhappy with the results. -1
  24. Context: I was yelling at Abigale (SirCatnip) for forking me (aka launching Forks at me). she grabbed me, threw me on the ground, climbed on me to start destroying my bones aaand... No gravity even + missing context = Jesus taking control of the spoder
  25. In term of sprites, nothing more (I mean, you're kinda limited...). But on the pocket, there's the CERN logo on it (aka the desc). However, a lab coat is usually something that get "accidentally stolen", but are also nice to wear (Trust me, 100% Cotton labcoat are amazing). Character-wise, the labcoat remind him of his "glorious hours" there, allowing him to get a bit of rest from NT's bureaucratic hell. Problem with armbands or similar is that they are kinda "invisible" to peoples, even when examinating (people don't give a fuck about that, they only care about thing covered in blood to start calling sec on you), where a "Blue collar labcoat" is more visible, more rare and more suggest to the question "Where did you got it?" (Its also fashion, isn't it.) note: I'm writing this answer late in the day, so it may look like a bunch of shit put together.
