They don't. No spaceborn creatures breathe. Like carp, diona, space sharks, etc, their biology doesn't need it. So how do they generate biological energy? Cellular respiration requires Oxygen to work, but that's not available here.

While the sprite is nice, I'm not so sure it'll fit in with the rest of the game.

Whoop, right. Forgot that Janitors are technically in engineering now. They should have all the access required to get to engineering's painter in that case; should be by the lift on the upper floor of engineering.
-
The reagent ID is different; most things that look for water are checking for the reagent ID specifically iirc, not water's inherent properties.

One spawns in engineering (or at least is supposed to), and it's only meant to be used by engineering. Janitors shouldn't be painting the floors imo.

Retain The Head of Personnel's Ancient Claims Over Janitoria

I did not make the PR, only merged it. -
Anything is possible. It's a bug, as this was something that was not occuring before (items were always above consoles,) now, items and IDs are fucking impossible to grab sometimes just due to a shakey mouse, to the point where I usually need to use ALT to view the entire tile to grab an ID after updating it. Please make consoles spit IDs back into your HAND when you eject them like it used to be. In agreement with Xander here. I do know it was possible that items were able to be above consoles, although it might be easier on people for consoles to be spitting ID's into your hand. The glow-in-the-dark effect on holoconsoles is what prevents items from being layered on top of the console. The console screen is being rendered at a very high layer (above lighting). Having items temporarily move up above lighting would be very ugly both visually and code-wise, and the only other alternative is to just make holoconsoles not glow in the dark.

[Withdrawn] Elliot's coder application
Lohikar replied to Elliot's topic in Developer Applications Archives
Do you have any experience with DM, or are you just starting with it now? -
Code-wise it should be perfectly possible to have per-limb level hulk. An alternate set of limb sprites used when hulked so hulks missing limbs + non-human hulks work properly. All human icon code has access to species info and can update icons to suit. Main issue would be getting sprites.

Guns' names are intentionally vague to prevent attack text from being too verbose. The full gun name being in the description is fine. Voting for dismissal.

No, it can't be embedded into either as this is written as a desktop program. It's just meant to be a tool to help you write records for putting into your character setup.
-
This is a small record generation tool meant to mimic Sierra's old generator. Has more or less the same fields, but runs locally and can save profiles as a file that the program can later load for editing. Screenshots: Should be mostly functional, may still be some kinks with loading/saving profile files. Releases Source Issue Tracker

BYOND Key: guess Game ID: no Player Byond Key: ParadoxSpace Staff involved: None. Reason for complaint: Mangling of the English Language Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? No. Approximate Date/Time: 0000 UTC-6, 2017-11-05 During a perfectly amicable heated argument Paradox was having with someone else, Paradox said this: Paradox had the audacity to improperly capitalize an I in this message, committing a crime against the English language. Atrocities like this should not be acceptable on this server. A game primarily based around text communication should have STANDARDS, not have people stand idly by while people do things like this!

[2 dismissals; Archive: 30.10.2017]Remove Nitrogen from Engine room
Lohikar replied to ToasterStrudel's topic in Archive
Though, you do understand we have ad hominem rules and derailing rules on these forums, correct? You are just attacking people, and not adding to the original posts topic. I'm not attacking anyone. I just think it was foolish. I *assume* this book was for Exodus, and never got updated for Aurora's significantly less robust setup. The book was equally incorrect on the Exodus; the Aurora's engine is literally a copypaste of the Exodus' with a larger radiator. -
[Denied] Moderator Applocation - Pacmandevil

No supermatter crystals, everything (except pizza) is really expensive for some reason. Antimatter engine is too expensive to operate/ever use.

This is probably just a case of mapping error, they could easily be rotated.

[Lohikar] Add the NT Lunchbox to the Kitchen Vendor

I don't see why not. -
Drones are already pretty strong for what they are, I don't think they need buffs (2, 3, 6, 7).
-
These sprites don't really fit in with our current sprite perspective.

Persisting the station itself without not rebooting is next to impossible as it stands. Voting for dismissal.
