1. Going to highlight how seriously we need an up to date and ready IAA page. Right now with the change of leadership in CCIA, opinions on IAA's role and authority have changed and even I, the resident IAA player have no idea how to play the role. Synnono plz do
2. Hi. With the new finance page on the wiki being release by jackboot, the following is listed: Due to the Captain having significantly more responsibility, and having already served as a head of staff or IAA before taking on the job as Captain - they should probably get a higher paycheck than a regular head of staff or IAA. I might even go so far as to say IAA, HoS and HoP should get less than the CE/RD/CMO because the latter have PhDs and are literal experts in their fields, but let us focus on the captain's pay for now. What is Gank?

I asked Garnabo and they said it's basically still policy.

5. PRAISE THE LORD, FOR HE HATH SPOKEN AND STRUCK DOWN WHAT IS UNHOLY!
6. BUMP.
7. This can probably be closed. Was resolved by a CCIA announcement being added and expanded.
8. Why not de-humanize/mole them by giving them a spaceworm-like head for digging instead of a human head.
9. Sucking a crew member's blood is starting a fight.
10. Even at Walmart, I was required to have my company ID on at all times and any visitors or contractors had IDs they needed to wear too. It's common and simple practice. Customers didn't have to wear an ID? If you don't work there, I mean. The station doesn't have customers. The station owes visitors nothing.
11. What if they don’t start the fight Xander Then ahelp metagaming?
12. Uh this person might be my character Eleanor Shen. Someone put a large bounty on her to basically capture and torture her and I've been having many many antags try to claim it. Kinda annoying. I support this.

14. If an antag is bad enough to get captured and tortured for the sake of science, that's that. Don't start a fight you can't finish.
15. Probably not. She's never dated anyone for very long.
16. Eleanor Shen (Captain) - Fact Sheet - 41 YO - Alumni of NanoTrasen Memorial University (Bach. Marketing & Masters in Business Admin. w/ Honours) - Has worked with NanoTrasen in some way since she was 19 - Served in Internal Affairs for nine years, before becoming a Captain at 40 (short transition period as an HoP) - Strong attachment to her job and place within NanoTrasen - Writes gay fanfic about Miranda Trasen - Really dislikes Sol, views them as the past of humanity, the Republic is the future. Daliyah Veridan (Captain) - Fact Sheet - Late fourties - Moved to the Republic at the start of the year for a work program - Actually a Productions Facility Manager for Zeng-Hu Pharmaceuticals, overseeing construction of ZH Mobility and Bishop Accessory frames. - Eridani Citizen/Employee, finds the amount of 'gangers' working in a professional research station strange. - Incredibly corporate in attitude. Schedules her time, eats lunch specifically in a reserved both every shift and enjoys a three course meal. Budgets and likes profits. - Pretty nice all around, tips well - but only if you don't break the rules - Loves robotics, it's her passion. Klaus Eliade (Head of Security) - Fact Sheet - Early fourties - Born on Earth, raised in Tau Ceti, dual citizenship - Incredibly loyal to NanoTrasen - Former ATLAS party member until NanoTrasen made their Anti-ATLAS sentiment clear - Enjoys when his staff are able to use common sense in lieu of orders, gives orders anyways - Sticks to regulations unless he has orders to do otherwise, will always do what the Captain or Central says - ^^^ Unless he thinks the Captain is dumb and has a dumb idea - Fairly robust, has killed in the line of duty before, mindful of this - Thinks Daniel Carmichael and Hadley Dawson are damned cute Vanessa Ross (Head of Personnel) - Fact Sheet - Mid-thirties - Born and raised in Tau Ceti - Works for NanoTrasen because her education was in HR and it was the largest company available - Loves accessorizing her outfits - Focused on finances and income, but still cares about people - Easily excited, easily set off. Think of a human chihuahua - Kind of spacey - Easily upset by assholes who are mean to her - Doesn't like unathi because they are mean to her - Except for Marwani because they are nice to her Katelynn Swarner (Chef) - Fact Sheet - Late 20's - Ran a diner in Mendell called 'Kate's Counter', it was closed down after she assaulted a police officer with a rolling pin, multiple times. - Was totally validated in doing the above because he was rude to one of her two waitresses. - After her diner fell through, ran a short webshow called 'Katelynn's Cooking: You don't need a soul to cook!" - Is a ginger. - Somewhat of an accent, specifically when she is annoyed and never when serving a customer - Loves food, so much. Wrote and developed her own personal menu. - Is incredibly insulted by cooks who put food out on a counter to go cold and get gross - Cooks to order only. Animedica (MD) - Fact Sheet - Zeng-Hu owned and contracted out Medical Doctor IPC. - Has her social memory wiped daily, but her experiential memory of occurences remains to improve efficiency. - Says hi and reintroduces themselves to everyone every shift as a result - Is a pure soul, loves people and helping More will come later.
17. Arkter This is an in-character forum.
18. Sentience and sapience do not guarantee rights. Sorry.
19. This is somewhat a counter-suggestion to @MO_oNyMan and his post. I would like Neglect of Duty to be expanded to have two different types. Firstly, the part where a head of staff thinks you're not doing your job properly, which would completely remain head of staff jurisdiction to press against crew. Now the change would be adding a second clause - this clause would be that Security can charge neglect of duty if the individual is directly in charge of a station directive (and possibly CCIA Notices, if CCIA are inclined). Presently there is no official charge for ignoring either, and having a specific regulation be responsible for enforcing directives would give them more clout.
20. Additionally, if you are planning on applying for IPC (which will give you access to the Bishop Cybernetics frame, along with the other IPC frames), the following wiki pages will be a great resource to go over before applying: https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=IPC < Main IPC Wikipage https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Positronic_Brain < Information on IPC's brains Additionally, we had major IPC lore developments over the last year a bit - I encourage you to read the news from this link onwards for about a page or two: https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=2981&start=80#p75371 Welcome to Aurora! I hope to see you on board.
21. This is a corporation. If a manager thinks you're doing something wrong, they can punish you for it -kinda how the corporate world works. Dismiss this plz.
22. Watched you shoot an unarmed person for an aggressive grab with their friend from two tiles away without saying a word to them or using your other weapons. Also ignored the fact the reason for the aggressive grab was announced on comms. -1, seriously. Addendum: The character you did this as was Javert. While I hear you are effective and competent in other departments, this whitelist provides universal access to all head roles and I cannot trust you won't try to go HoS as Javert - a character you do not play well enough to be a head, in my mind.
23. If this was my Captain-round, and you were one of Javert or Caiden - you were immediately hostile, so.
24. Was this accepted without a post to confirm? Still heavily against more sol things.
25. 'Common-sense' is bad form for forcing someone to adhere to something. Everyone has a different idea of what is proper for their character and such.
