We're not unreasonable, and I don't think anyone cares for their color THAT much.

Admins have always been able to pick their own colors. I've litterally never seen anyone complain about this except when someone decides to be an asshole and pick eyehurt yellow. Which doesn't happen here And No. No. No. Please don't return mods, due to my colorblindness, I can't tell them apart from Players in that color

I'm (Obviously) in-favor of my proposal (The last one) Humans: Obviously would be allowed to have any position, this has never been questioned. It's a Human station afterall Skrell: Being the most advanced race, and the first one encountered by Humanity. They'd have the same as Humans, due to generally having the best relations with Humankind, along with being their technological betters, along with y'know...actually having a function government for lobby for them. Tajara & Unathi: Would have access to any rank other than Captain, and they WOULDN'T be barred legally from being Captain, there just simply wouldn't be any due to the short time they've be in N.T.'s employ, along with some (de-facto) bias. I think this works because, I see it as a fair compromise of RP opportunities without falling back to "Fukken aliens" as an excuse for a restriction. IPC - IPCs are capable, they're sentient or at least Quasi-Sentient in nature, and obviously capable of doing their jobs. But their memory is literally accessible as long as you can (Not literally) flip their power switch and remove their Positronic brain. Allowing them CE, RD and CMO allows them an opportunity for wider role-playing opportunities while still making sense ICly, as they'd be barred from ranks with much higher access to classified data. Dionea - They're typically slower, less ambitious and generally not terribly suited for Command positions. But I believe it fair to hand them SOME positions, the same as the IPCs for RP's sake. While barring them (Not legally) but de-facto simply due to a lack of desire in most Dionea to reach higher-up positions. While not wholly ideal for the situation, I believe this is better than ALL other alternatives as it maintains a precarious balance between IC restrictions and RP opportunity.

I'm honestly more a proponent of not having any named faction beyond the Sol Alliance/Alien races. I think it allows characters more power to create their background. As long as they don't make them "Suparpowars"

I have a bunch of issues with this actually. Beginning with this. I'm currently the one rewriting the Sol Alliance page, and I've recently rewritten the Sol page. Where I layout the superstates that control Earth's surface. Earth isn't divided into small unions like that, the surface is organized into massive superstates like the Pan Asian Confederation (Russia, India, China, SE Asia), Union of South America (All of South America) and European Conglomerate (Most of Europe). In addition, the other "Large players" in the Sol alliance rule entire systems in their own right. There's no way that Franco-Germany would come anywhere near close to equaling those. Luna is an independent member of the Sol Alliance, ruled completely separately from Earth as a member state in its own right. Member states of the Sol Alliance don't maintain their own military.

I essentially agree with what Frances said. But the main thing the other staff sees wrong here is that there's no IC reason this would happen, your character after doing this once or twice, would be fired. No doubt about it, and while it might create some good RP and thus be excusable occasionally. Doing this round-after-round is monotonous and generally loses the purpose of entertainment and begins to stretch the realm of belief. Simply put, while I'm okay with this happening occasionally. Why would your character even exist after a couple rounds of this? He'd be fired and removed from the station, and as I've seen it. This is generally ALL you do with this character, which really...makes no sense.

(I don't mean this to be rude, just saying) This isn't a definitive "no". But honestly, the two admins that approve headapps (Myself included) are leaning heavily towards "no". You however have three days to change our minds

I would start this off with good things about you OOCly wise, but I don't really know any due to limited experience with you. Your application is expertly written and in-fact exceeds that which most people apply with, that's really quite good and normally you'd get accepted without issue. I'm whole-heartedly, entirely 110.5992% against this. Let me explain why. Originally you were NapoleanIV. Now, you've wracked up an impressive amount of notes, in fact you have the second highest amount of notes in our entire system. Just like now, you originally got whitelist quite easily as your application was just as great as it is now, plus you'd started with the community. You respond to criticism politely and intelligently, never resorting to idiotic arguing back and forth. Simply put, your application last time around was all great and dandy. However, there's a reason you have all those notes. You proved an utter disappointment in every possible meaning of the word. Let's go over the list, You've joined several rounds and immediately disconnected as a head of staff, Murdered a player as head of security as opposed to stunning them despite having that option and the player being defenseless (This one is hard to defend), and immediately after being jobbanned for that previously mentioned incident left the game so you wouldn't "Get in trouble for defending myself", Killed yet another player despite that player too being defenseless and you having other options, Every possible interaction you had with staff was hostile, aggressive and generally undeserved in nature, you've been antag banned as a nuke op because you ramboed onto the station and started a shootout without a smidgen of roleplay, then suicided but not before stating "This was my intent all along" then argued with staff that this was a Nuke Op's job, you attacked a bartender with a diamond drill, then tried to turn the captain into an AI without his permission or an ounce of roleplay, then explained to the chaplain word-for-word how to defeat the cult using his nullrod. You've proven belligerent, aggressive, asocial and generally a nusience to staff since you started playing on Aurora. You've never apologized for any of these event, and you even openly admit you've promised to change and then didn't do so. I honestly don't see a single reason to approve your white-list You are more than capable of filling out an application and making it look quite good, but from what I've seen I highly doubt your ability to live up to the promise of the application and play a Head well. Not everyone is capable of filling a white-listed position properly, and I firmly believe that you are one of these people.

Doing this would get them utterly destroyed in months. Piracy wouldn't be something that the Sol Alliance would handle lightly, they'd just dispatch a punitive expedition and the colony would be dispersed/razed. Same here. Seeing how critical N.T. is to the Sol Alliance Economy, they'd jump on this immediately. That's really the only issues I have with this. It honestly isn't totally unbelievable other than those two things As for self sufficiency, They've got an entire world to live on. So that's really not that big of an issue
