Humans are 100% capable of speaking Siik Maas, however they seem rather 'dull' in its application. An extremely observant Human would be capable of learning all the subtle cues of the language more-than-likely in addition.

The mute was not an Admin-help mute. It was strictly a OOC mute, which was revealed to you when the message appears saying "You have been muted from OOC". You had the opportunity to apologize, and you still refused to. Which either means you are lying when it comes to your sincerity of the apology here, or you simply aren't very observant (I in no way mean that as an insult, simply an observation). Anything "Beneath the surface" is hardly your business in this regards. And if you're insinuating I have a dislike for you. There's no base for this, I have had literal -zero- interaction with you as a player or your characters. We are not, that is why we are even having this conversation. If staff was "Above disagreement" then this whole board wouldn't exist. Straight-forward. This is an objective analysis. What is "hasty" to you is not "hasty" to someone else. Mutes have literally no effect on your ability to play SS-13, communicate with other players ICly, LOOCly, adminhelping or anything else. I see it as a very minor punishment to be taken in cases such as this which do not require further administrative action.

This was the rule I was predominately attempting to enforce with what I said. Admittedly, what was said wasn't tremendously sexual in nature. Though It was still taken in a sexual direction. I saw it fit to act how I did due to a tendency for OOC to spiral rapidly, I simply asked the players to stop politely (As you can see in the logs) I was greeted in-return by a rather rudely put comment by Letzshake. Who as you can see in the logs, didn't even have any place in the conversation, so it's not as-if he could've been offended by what I asked of the players. It was rude. I think everyone agrees on this, a player even called you out on that. I honestly did not even think I'd have to mute you, I expected you to apologize and say that the comment was inappropriate. At which point I would've happily dropped the insistence of a mute. I firmly and wholeheartedly believe I did absolutely nothing wrong in these regards. I've not received a single complaint, character or staff in my many, many months of Playing on Aurora and as such believe myself to be a fair and even-tempered member of the moderation team's staff. Edit: Perhaps it would've been better to allow another member of staff to handle this, which I would've had another member been online. As previously said, I believe myself temperate enough in my position as a member of the moderation team to have handled this fairly.

Like its been said. We have no problem -whatsoever- with Deathly being a player with Head of Staff characters. But Serenity (In our professional opinions) cannot be an RD, any other character is fine. All he's got to say is "I see what you're saying, even if I don't agree with it. I won't play her as RD" We can and do reserve the right to hold up a whitelist if we believe it will be used to use characters who wouldn't possibly make Head of Staff position as heads of staff.

I'd prefer we have our own unique icons. A new race is a major thing and copying someone elses icons isn't really something I think we'd want for something that we want as unique for Aurora.

This one is just a minor suggestion at most. From this, it seems like you're probably gonna be a hardass Head of staff. That's 100% fine, but do remember that you have an -extra- responsibility to make an environment conducive to roleplay as a Head, Don't be a dick to be a dick. Be a dick for a real reason, and have that reason invested into your character.

Your answers are generally pretty excellent, far beyond the quality of most applicants on Aurora. There is something that bothers me tremendously on one section (And this just might be me) This just looks like a general, dictionary definition of Roleplaying to me. As if you googled it and copy+pasted it, from how I see it. You answered it technically, but avoided actually answering what the question is intended to mean. From how I see it, it's intended for you to say what roleplaying actually is in-game. What it means to roleplay and such. I'm confident that you can provide a satisfying answer after reading the rest of your application, I just want you to redo that particular part again please. You'll easily have my approval after that.

Hiya! So when looking over your application, I generally like what I see. This is a really good answer actually, it proves that you realize that you exist solely to oversee your department. While there's certain cases that you can intervene in other departments, you should generally use your time to supervise your own. This is a sorely absent part of many heads of staff. The one answer I dislike is this. This really, just isn't a good answer to me. Saying that he's competent doesn't mean anything, if there's circumstances that'd lead to an early promotion, state them . That's really the flaw I see in this application. +1 for me, as long as you either come up with a better reason or just make Terry older.

Why do we need this at all? All that I can tell is we're trying to be "Edgy" and "Grimdark" it'd simply be easier for people if it existed in a "Normalish" habitable state. Once we go into space, There'd be absolutely no need for mining on the planet and it might even start to recover.

Taken from a corporate perspective, it simply wouldn't be worth it when they can basically afford to hire anyone else. If you were once unreliable, you might as well still be.

Considering that your character is working for N.T. simply to pay back a large quantity of currency that she owes them. I don't think she'd be allowed to take a Head of Staff position. People who get in debt are hardly reliable I really don't have a big problem with you as a player having a Head of staff, I'm just not sure Serenity would be a good choice for that.

I agree with this generally, Earth being dead is.... edgy. Humanity would simply not abandon our homeworld, we're always going to have a sentimental attachment to her.

I played on Old Apollo for a time under a different name, went on with Athena, then Minerva and a couple others. Came here after a brief disinterest with SS-13, became Lore-dev and Moderator about a year ago or so, left for a bit, came back and joined both said thingies again.

I utterly agree with Frances, you were given many, many, many chances. And you ignored your opportunity to learn at each and every venture. There's no grounds to be unbanned here.

I really don't think this should be lifted. Let the guy take the time off, it's just 2 days.
