Overcoming the immediate depressing nature of you leaving, I feel like I should say more than "Nooo". Frances, you started playing Aurora around the same time I have and we've talked nearly from the beginning. At first professionally as fellow moderators, but as time went by I honestly began to see you as far more than that. I've talked to you about everything ,from work, to medical issues, to relationships to just talking... and out of all the people I've met, you're one of my favorite to be around. You've called me kind, you've called me intelligent and you've called me wise. And you've made me think a lot better of myself than I probably would've ever without you. You are my friend, you are one of the best administrators I've ever been on staff with and I sit here finding myself far sadder than most people would. This community is better for the time you've invested into it, and it will be vastly diminished by your absence. As am I. Many rounds we've played together and many rounds we've enjoyed together I'm sure. And I feel as if most of the other players on Aurora like you, because you honestly tried your best to make Aurora better, you tried to make it more fun and you did exceptionally well. You'll be missed, because you truly are part of this community.

For slightly more than a decade I was in the Military, in Military intelligence. Though I 'retired' recently due to medical issues. I thoroughly enjoyed it while I was in, more than most other jobs I think. Currently unemployed and enjoying my life. When I was in however, generally all I did was sit at a desk and review paperwork and reports.

I play CoH on Steam occasionally. I usually prefer the Wehrmacht but I've had the game for awhile so I get bored of it pretty easily. There's the occasional mod that manages to pique my interest for abit, Europe at War and Eastern Front are pretty good contenders for best mod.

Probably not. We're generally lighthearted, but Aurora is a Heavy-RP server and we've (I think) generally begun treating it like that. While that might be astoundingly fun at times, it's generally not the atmosphere we aim for. But then again, we're all here to have fun.

It might just me being oversensitive. But can you stop? I find this mocking and disrespectful... Insurgency is a good game though from what I've seen. May pick it up eventually.

I think having a PDA capable of reading a library full of books would be delightful. I also think that the library should remain, some people will always prefer real books in their hands. Myself included.

That.Honestly the icons aren't any wider, nor longer than the Backpack or Satchel sprites. They're not full-sized dufflebags... Just add them in as an option.

As a member of staff I'm going to say this. If you want to Thundy, remove it. You're under no obligation to do so however, while I know that it is Nursie's character, she honestly (don't mean to be rude) has no right to 'demand' that you remove it or stop using her character's name. It is a name, just that. While I could understand if she used your character name in a rude or mocking way, she has not here. (Again, don't mean to be rude.) But if you don't wish a character to be mentioned, you probably shouldn't play them

This whole situation makes me extremely sad Hive. I'm deeply sorry it occurred to you and honestly quite pleased that the particular staff member in question is no longer on our staff. I've known you for awhile but honestly never got to really know you or anything, but you've never really been anything but pleasant and this was just wrong to occur

They have every icon needed to match the current satchels/backpacks.

That's exactly what they are. As I said, they're not tremendously difficult to code in and it's nice to have options.

They're not like...full sized dufflebags. It was just the best word I could come up with, It's visible in the DMI but not really here.

Simple suggestion, add dufflebags as another bag option in the character menu and implement them in the game. Why? Because options are nice!

Skull is the primary one who approves these and generally is busy recently with code related stuff. As these apps require code to add and have been side-tracked by code-fixing, they're kinda low-priority I believe, that's probably why it hasn't received attention. There's also generally a backstory of some length to explain why it's dear to the character and why they couldn't go 4 hours without it.

Currently, There is a large backlog of apps, due to the new map taking precedence. So, The items in flavor text are somewhat needed. Like I said. Custom little items like that I think are fine, aslong as you don't go into deep-fuggin detail about your 'fancy red jumpsuit'

I can understand stuff like rings/necklaces... but those could be in-game if you wanted them to be and make an application to the custom board. what I mean in the post is like "Her blood-red sec uniform reveals her sexy buttcheeks"

I've got plenty of Good-quality Energy weapon sprites if the dev team wants to add them. But that's up to them, I'm always for new items.
