Mhm, but it is worth mentioning. And it's especially important for a Head of Staff. A bad RPing assistant is hardly a concern for most players, but a bad RPing captain who smothers RP is a major issue.

Alright, I like the updated answers but I'm going to add this. Another main responsibility of a head of staff is to create an environment that is conducive to role playing. By this I don't meant coddling everyone any making sure they're comfortable with roleplaying and all. I mean just, being a character that allows roleplaying to unfold in an interesting/fun way. Note that I don't mean "You can't have asshole characters" or anything like that, I just mean "Be an asshole in a fun way!" Not that I'm calling you an asshole.

I have a couple. Playing males - Mainly because Girl. But I think that I wouldn't y'know...make a convincing male character. I have16x characterd and none of them are guys Romance - Not that any of my characters have been given the opportunity, but I I'm OOCly uncomfortable discussing romantic situations with people I'm not close with, and so that makes IC character relationships uncomfortable for me. Playing a straight character. - I have exactly one straight character due to both my previously mentioned hesitance with sexuality in general, feeling like it wouldn't be convincing for me to play one and just feeling weird about it Actually talking - I tend to overuse emotes to an almost excessive point (most people can probably tell my characters because of this). Just because I don't talk irl, so I tend to lean towards body language more and I reflect that with my characters

I'm with Incog. Major reversals in attitude like this don't occur without something extremely important happening in one's life. And I doubt SS-13 is that important to you. I find it unlikely that Plahunter will remain civil for any longer than it takes to lift the ban, the sheer immaturity of his past comments, actions, etc. Prove that he deserves the ban he so rightly acquired. -1

There's a couple Icons in the code that are ...bad. I found alternative sprites for a couple of them, and I'd like to see what'cha guise think. Since they're just sprite changes, they should require almost no coding Pulse Pistol/USP - Almost never used, but I imagine that's because of how bad the icon is. Original Replacement Deagles - Almost never used simply because of how OP they are. Still doesn't mean they deserve to be ugly. Original Replacement Taser - Currently really widely used (Obviously). Same icon, just has its charge meter recolored to the same blue-teal as all other weapons that have stun, for uniformity's sake. Another Taser Icon, because I dunno why our Taser has wires and a uh...silencer?

I notice Hostility and passive-aggressiveness, from both sides of the argument about "The community is toxic" but I just tend to chalk it up to y'know...people being people. I don't expect people to stop being people because we'd love it if they did. Yeah, this needs to be a guideline for everyone, not just on SS-13.

I'm personally in agreement with this. I don't really see very much wrong with this, if anything really. I've been staff here for over a year, and I've never seen anything like that as a Rule. Perhaps an off-hand comment, or a suggestion by someone. But it's not ingrained into our rules that you cannot play a captain immediately after being accepted. There are hundreds of characters on the Aurora on a Daily basis, I hardly remember many of the regular's characters. Let alone someone I might've seen "Once or Twice" . I'm not totally disregarding your complaint ,but it's not inconceivable that he could've had a similar name. I've had someone join using my exact IRL name and my name is not a common one whatsoever.
