They're really good, but they don't fall in line with any other items in the game- nor do they really fit with any currently used aesthetics. They're too different to fit into the game without overhauling everything to have a similar look.

Was thinking. How about adding a feature where if you push over a locker, it acts as a barricade? Actually, it should always act as a barricade. They also ought to pull slowly. Maybe make them hard to move standing up, but easy to push laying on their side, or something. I dunno. Just- make shift barricades that aren't spammed wood planks and metal, would be cool.

The animates added further push for a similar feel that was added in your noise overhaul- a gamey feel, that is detached from the IC environment. These aren't quality of life changes, they're aesthetic changes with the purpose of trying to meld the OOC and IC portions of the game. There is a reason these sorts of animations are most associated with LRP/No RP servers. I, personally, cannot stand them, and have stopped playing since they were added, I've tried to play and it's left me disgusted.

I will in absolutely no way support this, as I've already stated a dozen times before.

The newly added animations are unnecessary, out of place, slow and blurry. They don't really add anything, except more noise to the screen, as each chat bubble shakes and dissipates like a cloud, and every item spins like a top when thrown.

IIRC syndicate softsuits are armored. Just make it the black softsuit instead. Looks fancier. -

I'm talking about the design of the models. A backpack juts out too much, it's very 'loud' in comparison to the satchel, which better conforms to the outline of the sprite. I made a replacement backpack above. I'm not really interested in dragging this out further. Either comment on the bag replacement and suggest further developments or wait until this is dismissed. -

This is a good idea. I have fun using the NTRelay system, and going to the lobbies in order to get the news on what's up in each department. As long as people aren't isolationists, they'll have no trouble staying up to date on information.

If we want to go off how much can be stored, in relation to the sprite's size, I would suggest also looking at the items themselves, and if they should be fit in there in the first place. Mind you, my resprite of the bag is based on the Medical bags. Does that mean the medical bags should meet the same size as the standard grey bag? What about the Engineering bag? Should that too be the size as this bag? And since all bags, no matter their design, fit the same amount of items, shouldn't satchels, and carrier bags reflect the same size as backpacks? Clearly, not. So why then, should we apply item amount and size with the bag sprite size. -

Objectively, you would want standard default items to be as innocuous as possible, IE; grey as the default jumpsuit, black shoes as the default shoe. The current backpack is half the size of the human sprite's torso and juts out of them like a cancerous hunch, high on their back, reaching over their shoulders and covering the tops of the arms. A smaller bag that is compact and lower down the back is much more suitable for the setting and overall appeal. I assume that whether I like it or not, my sprite will either not be added or made an alternative, rather than the standard. -

Did you get confused when I posted the different images of the backpack, on why those might have been posted. Or when I said And then did so. With picture. Before you made your post, ensuring that you would be aware of the fact that those were made, with the intent of respriting them. -

What does that have to do with changing the sprite to be more in line with all the other backpacks? What does me and every other person who dislikes backpacks, choosing not to wear them, do about allt he people indifferent. I don't want to see the ugly backpacks. I'm both respriting them, and suggesting they be made an alt to a default satchel. -

@Ornias @Carver @VTCobaltblood Great, so now I don't have a backpack on. What about everyone else, specifically people who don't care to change their backpacks? This does nothing to solve my problem. I'll resprite backpacks, perhaps. -

I hate backpacks. They look stupid. Let's make satchels the standard default selected bag. Hell, let's remove them alltogether. No more backpacks.
