Small update to the Little Adhomai concept.

I think it would be good if we could have some form of automated teller in mining that you swipe your ID on to confirm the yield you've brought in, I mean it would be more practical than having to count the materials by hand so to speak. There also should be a machine at the end of line, that packs ores into crates for you and will also allow you to set what materials goes into which crate. This would make things so much easier when sending plasma to CC and materials to Research or Engineering.

Ballistic weapons make little sense on a space station if I'm honest, ballistic weapons break windows more often than not and most of the windows lead to the deathly clutches of space.

So there is like, four request consoles in cargo with the same name which makes faxing a pain in the ass. So why rename two of the consoles after their respective locations within cargo. Sometimes I need a copy of the manifest, requisition form or mining quota and it'd make life easier if people can just fax it to my office for me to pick up later. Just a small thing.

Ignoring the.... snag in this topic. I believe we should let ourselves go down the 'timeline' for awhile, in my mind the IPCs are the most recent 'species' to be working on the station. So we should allow things to develop over time, how people see IPCs after canon events and such. Slavery was not abolished in a single month. Rights of certain groups weren't granted within a year. So I'd prefer if IPCs got more rights, say to certain Head positions, over time in organic manner. Because we should be thinking about this ICly, about how the people in this universe feel. It's not about what we as members want, we must emulate the... universe and it's people in our minds, we must empathize on why the IPCs may have an inkling for a better life, or whether they even desire the head position at all. Then we need to empathize to businessmen, average Joes and other people in this universe. Without investing ourselves to the point where we end up with threads ending up in this manner. Now I'm not the most tact individual, Frances probably knows this but I say keep this concept in the air and let things happen organically. Setting hard lines because of OOC opinions is bad for roleplay.

((Oh dear lord... I may not be any sort of economic genius, but I do know that at the percentages he's selling at, and for such low prices, he either has some REALLY low faith in the business venture, and/or he has no idea how investments work at all. For example, if the business is to actually remain "yours", you would never sell more than 49% of the stock in it, and even then only in an extremely desperate situation. Always hold 51% under your own name to remain majority shareholder. Also, I imagine that the space stock exchange is just like the New York stock exchange but on a larger scale, so this wouldn't be stock in the sense of stock market, being an unlisted startup, but rather just stock in the business itself.)) OOC:Jesus has yet to set up his little stock exhange, eh maybe I'll try something borderline legal. But I do some ideas that I might make a jab at.

Other Snapshot information: -Mainly inhabited by Tajaran. -High poverty area -High crime area -Poor living conditions Long Description: On the outlaying districts mainly inhabited by minorities and criminals alike, there's a small cluster of blocks called 'Little Adhomai.' While mostly Tajaran live here, it has been known for other species to find home here and embrace Tajaran culture. The block was not so much founded, but grew into the way it is today in an organic manner. Due to the cost of living to be cheaper in this area, many Tajaran with low paying jobs found homes here but so did many organizations who saw many an opportunity in this outlaying district to set up businesses and various networks to keep themselves in a position of power. As many of them had the same idea, it has been known that fights for dominance occur within the district. This can involve shoot outs but mainly revolves around espionage and silver tongues during business meetings and functions. Many of the community members work together to celebrate Tajaran holidays, by having parades along the main streets with trade stalls selling holiday themed trash to unknowing tourists who come to get a taste of Tajaran culture, be it watered down in comparison to what you'd find on Adhomai. Racial crimes have been known to happen along the outskirts of this district, where Human supremacists conduct raids on Tajaran ran businesses and lead marches protesting against the very existence of a district mainly populated by anything other than humans. Because of this heated climate along the outskirts, groups of Tajaran have lead marches of their own to appeal against Supremacist group who seek only to make the lives of the residents difficult. Though the group's intentions are mainly peaceful, a few Tajaran who have a strong dislike for humans have used it as a front to conduct their own raids against the human populace living within Little Adhomai, only worsening the worsening racial relations.
