  1. A new program for your PDA called "order tracker" where you can put in your order number and tracking code and your PDA will notify you of the status of your order: (Your order has been denied/approved, your shuttle is enroute, your order has arrived on station). Also when you press "submit order" on cargo order program a piece of paper is printed out which the customer keeps that gives them the number and tracking code in case they dont notice it on the screen, it will also let cargo know they submitted a order, since as of now you have to ask or continually check the console if they submit their order. Overall these additions will allow people to be less impatient with when their order will arrive and will give cargo a easier time processing orders.
  2. I seen many occasions in just two days over trying to find the one item they need in the vast array of other items listed, maybe add a search bar over the tabs where you can search based of keywords. This will allow them to find items easily. Maybe also have it search for keywords in sections like searching engineering category for steel by typing "steel" under engineering.
  3. If the horribly un-creative title didn't inform you what my suggestion is, its this: At this time the Merchant, despite it's ENTIRE goal being to gain credits, does not possess a bank account to hold it's credits. My question is this: WHY? It just makes the Merchant forced to hide their credits or something instead of just keeping it safe under a bank account. I propose the following: 1. Give the Merchant a bank account and provide PIN and account # in notes 2. Give the Merchant a EPTOS Scanner at the start of the round, for easy, quick transactions.
  4. I agree with alex except for paper part. Instead maybe have console make a noise or say that a order is submitted so we know when to look for it. This system also raises the question if NT gives back money for crates and phoron/platinum, like do we get cash to return crates and things? If not platinum is useless.
  5. There is no glass sheets to order
  6. That is my plan anyways, anything that a head didn't stamp or sign costs the person credits.
  7. Now when charging for cargo crates is this system good? You add a 0 to the end of the amount of cargo points it costs, and that is what it costs to the person. (10 points= 100 credits) The person can either pay with their personnel account or get the form stamped by a head which means the department the head is leading has to fit the bill. (HoS stamp = uses security funds)
  8. Laser Gatling gun= Thermal Drill 2.0 But yeah that auto-aiming makes the drill a beast.
  9. A 10 second kill weapon with no chance of escape, and no way to find out if the person has it or if the person died by it? 1. The fact it kills in 10 seconds with no hope of escape is pretty darn OP, it should allow a small chance to successfully resist and a WAY longer kill time, and causing no O2 in 6 seconds and no talking just makes it the best silent weapon in the game. 2. you should be able to see the mark when wire was used, and that is how they can find out the killer used wire.
  10. Any idea how to work the EPTOS scanner? (hope to god I didn't spell this wrong) Like the directions it gives you isn't clear enough for me.
  11. I see your point in all of these, and for some I just thought of them in the moment. #1: It is true they can walk anywhere, but this can help them get to a spot fast and allow them to repair if they are somewhere on the other side, and the only place you can mail to on surface is sorting office, which makes sense but maybe allow cargo to send crates to security checkpoint, which in turn allows drones to travel there quickly.
  12. I see 2 more as a convenience, since when drones re purpose the vacant office or something they dont have to just leave the carpet in a pile outside.
  13. Yeah lets get back on topic, drones are not meant to have a impact on the round, but when emaged they get the same laws a emagged cyborg has and gets a plasma cutter to boot, and if the person uses that correctly he/she has a army of plasma cutter all access doombots that can roam the station, and if drones go rogue due to malf a engineer can just deactivate and destroy the console to prevent respawns.
  14. It also has a swipe to revoke access requirement for maintenance, and when was the last time THAT was used?
  15. EDIT: make the cyborg analyser ACTUALLY work, I seen too many times when it says their components are OK yet it has 3 components destroyed.
  16. just some various things to help improve (mostly) drones. 1. Add more places to mail to. (and fix HoP office so you actually get sent there....) 2. Allow drones to pick up and/or place down carpet. 3. Make them slightly more durable. 4. Give Malf AI the ability to change drone laws so the re-sync command in drone console actually means something (when drones they emaged they can't be controlled by console anyways) 5. (not drones but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) Allow Science module equipped cyborgs to have a Rapid Parts Exchange device module or give them a module than can scan what components machines have. 6. Give drones more storage for plastic and MAYBE others 7. Allow roboticists to upgrade cells in drones. Maybe also have engineering module equipped cyborgs have some of these ideas.
  17. Scheveningen is right, not much is worse than letting a spiderling escape into a place rarely everyone goes to only to find it a hour later with 20 spiders AT LEAST.
  18. I like this idea, this can allow heads to put things as records like: "Served as interim HoS for a shift on (date)" for extended rounds. Overall it helps heads make notes that can help other heads know who they are dealing with when they look at his/her/it's records.
  19. Good idea, but cigarette butts are hot and unless you want 1st or 2nd degree burns I dont recommend getting a handful.
  20. No offense, but its only two clicks, and it helps centralize chapel and other rooms in the holodeck.
  21. The holodeck IS the chapel. It has the ability to be the chapel room.
  22. Cyborgs can be very useful to the crew, and many of the ideas I listed will help make Cyborgs more helpful and/or makes things easier for Cyborgs.
  23. I see what you mean, but this is why IA exists, in that situation you file a incident report and then that chemist is punished for what may be considered homicide or other things that CCIA can do when they get a report.
  24. Maybe instead a automatic fax is sent to robotics with cyborg location (example: NOTIFICATION: B.O.B is out of power/ destroyed at (place and coords)
  25. Would you put gum wrappers back in the box? Same thing really, plus the butts are very hot
