H'okay. Uh, I don't exactly understand exactly why people have decided to write indepth-treatises on why everything is going downhill. Allow me to put it bluntly, it's things like this that are the reason everything is "burning". I don't know about you, but I'd rather not see literally half of a dozen topics about the toxicity of the community and why this is bad and why people should feel bad. I'd rather see whitelist applications, general topics, all the funny and lovely things that made me stay here for the past almost two years, now. What about my in-depth dissection of the community and oh my God, Karen, you can't just ask people why they're white? you may ask. I would support this notion. I was very disappointed in the decision made by the lore team that basically ruled out any sort of discussion or really any communication betwixt the lore team and the entire community. Not allowing for community members to post on the 'Lore Questions' subforum? I could never agree with such a decision, so this is nice and nice stuffs are nice. And subforums are nice. As well as organization.

My main character is a self-insert and this triggers me. Kidding, of course. Well, my main character, Senri Ishikawa (A.K.A. Sinner Ishikarwash, etc.) is actually very like myself, with slight deviations. I created that character, not really knowing what was going to come out of him, so I just reacted to certain things the way I would react IRL. Hence why when the security officer is getting his head chopped off and there's a morphing being running down the hallways, I skidaddle the fuck a w a y fabulously. There's also the matter of comfort levels, I'm comfortable with my own sexuality, so I can really do whatever in that aspect with my characters. I'm not comfortable playing as a female character, though, because well.. I barely understand myself and how I work, how can I do that for another gender? Also, I just never had the desire to play as one (though I did try once or twice, and it just never worked for me). At the end of the day, there is good and bad to creating self-inserts. It allows you to ease into the roleplaying community we have here smoother and faster, but it can lead to unfortunate situations involving people actually getting mad about the actions that occur in-game regarding their characters. Look, I honestly couldn't care whether Senri lives or dies in the round, but as a person, I feel like I would try my best to live. When it comes to fight or flight, there's a long list of fliers from my experience. Never get mad about it though, because at the end of the day.. THIS IS A GAME AND SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN SO SERIOUSLY. And with that, I guess I'm wrapping up. Oh, wait. One thing.

Oh, yeah, let's give it to R&D so they can research it and hunt down anyone on the station, even as a nonantag. Nothing could go wrong. I don't understand the logic of this statement, or request, really. If it's made an item you can order from cargo, it's very easy to abuse seeing as nine times out of ten, miners stack up supply points faster than a fat kid eats cake. I don't really see what this would add to our server besides y'know, eliminating the fun in kidnapping and doing other antaggy things.

I'm against lifting the ban on plahunter. Very much so, actually. Most of your actions can be attributed to a lack of maturity and not being able to deal with issues in a formal matter, or not knowing when to stop in general. Okay, that's fine and dandy and people change, sure. However, you also have made several posts on r/SS13 to the effect of bashing the server and distorting facts so that you look like the victim. You were banned for being immature, and being a horrible influence on the rest of the community, from your behavior to the actions you perpetrated. I'm for second chances, but seeing as your comment is now, what, two days old? I can't agree with this unban, not even with the probationary period.

I consider it true, I'm a very agressive debater. I don't do it because I want everyone to think as I do, but because I either feel my points aren't getting through to people or my own 'rights' are being trampled on. However, I feel no ill will towards the people I debate with, and am able to drop the argument when it escalates to the point I'm not comfortable with. That said, I accept the will of superiors or majority when it is apparent. There is a big difference between being an aggressive debater, which implies heavy use of rhetoric and constantly exploiting holes in your opponent's argument, and just getting worked up about it and letting it turn into a game of who can type faster and include more expletives. I've seen you, on several accounts, been very abrasive or downright dismissive towards other members of the community when flaws in your opinion and/or your opinion is challenged. I have also witnessed you continuing a 'debate' even after told to stand down by staff. I think you have an extreme case of needing to have the last word, or needing to shout people down in order to be heard. I understand that nobody wants to feel like their opinion is worthless, but I denounce your strategy of 'aggressive debating' and see it as a quality not befitting of a moderator.

This is, um, no? You're actually suggesting trying to restrict the way somebody plays an antag role for the sake of, what? Furthermore, I think you're generalizing just a tad. Not everyone reacts to the wizard being friendly by dismissing it as just another happening on the station, and I've seen friendly wizards tackled down by security, implanted, and then held until the transfer. I wouldn't be in favor of this at all, because it limits the options of the antag. If they can't be friendly, legitimately or not, then it just ends up becoming Murderfest 4000, Now With More !UNFUN!
