i am going to celebrate the shit out of your existance
-
This looks like a barrel of unfun, so I'll just jump right in.
-
Yes, please, this, 100%. Anyone who's played medical knows the pain of scrolling through "notes" to find prescriptions, disabilities, allergies, and w/e you need that is genuinely important in game.
-
I'm sure the majority of med players would like a second operating room, regardless of whether the mapping team plans on it or not.
-
my heart has warm fuzzies
-
Cooler option: add flowers to seed vendors that can be used as dyes. Not only it would add a function to flowers already in the game, it would make it so dyes wouldn't be in any limited capacity and more can simply be grown in the garden.
-
I could get behind this. I would appreciate more physical warnings, like You feel something slipping down your throat! or Something in your stomach is shifting around... please don't take this out of context
-
Garvunn thanked the woman for his mead, and continued to sit quietly while he idly sipped at it, trying his damnedest not to appear suspicious. He attempted to listen to the conversation regarding the girl, but did not turn his head towards the source.
-
Judging by the racket in the bar, he assumed everyone here was either drinking or drunk. He ordered some cheap, watered down mead and see if he could gauge the atmosphere before he tried to get information.

Server Moderator Application Basic Information Byond Account: NursieKitty Character Name(s): Phoebe Essel, Kiara Branwen, Kazuo Kurosawa, a bunch of others I haven't ported yet. AI Name(s): I haven't played an AI in literal years. If I start as a cyborg, I usually go by Deimos. Preferred means of contact: Skype, discord, steam, take your pick. Age: Twenty-one. Timezone: EST. When are you on Aurora?: Usually from noon until 3-5 AM. Experience How long have you played SS13?:A long time. I started to back when MSN was a thing. How long have you played on Aurora: A year. Two, maybe? Let's just say a little over a year. How much do you know about SS13 (Baystation build) game mechanics?: A decent amount, although things like atmospherics still elude me. Learning more every day. Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?: Nope! Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: I once caught a light ban for EOR grief. Don't remember exactly how long it was, but I know it was shortened due to the circumstances. Personality Why do you play SS13?: Escapism, hilarity, and fully destructible environment. Why do you play on Aurora?: I have friends here. It's a really welcoming server, more so than it used to be. The HRP environment is nice and it gives you an opportunity to play out neat little stories banging around inside your head. What do moderators do?: They make sure that certain rules are adhered to, mostly, but they're also there to help players with the game. What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: HRP has differerent ooc standards than most servers would. Why do you want to be a moderator?: I've been a part of the community for a while now. I've seen staff come and go, and we always seem to have some kind of shortage of people willing to deal with issues. The "permanant mod applications" thing didn't really surprise me all that much. What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: I tend to be easygoing, and give second chances. Sometimes this results in getting bitten in the ass, I hate the idea of someone who could and would improve not being given that chance. How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?: I will be very inclined to insult them back, but I am also told this is not professional behavior for a moderator to display. Anything Else You Want to Add:

"I think to check the other leads. Divine speed, you two." With that, he started making for Red Moon Inn, with high hopes in his heart and a bad feeling in the back of his head.
-
Agreed. Frankly, I think it makes more sense, what with a high security station having a silent alarm rather than loudly announcing to hostiles that reinforcements are coming.
-
"Was there only one priest?" Garvunn asked, looking straight at Bjorn. "No apprentice, or anything? Is anyone taking care of the hall of the dead right now?"
-
Garvunn shook his head. "I wanted to tell you before we left, but it's not hagravens." He felt free to speak, given they were in a small alleyway. "Bjorn and I had a long talk after I left the inn. It hasn't been one incident, but a string of kidnappings and murders. Said they found a priest dried and left to rot on an altar. I was going to inform you and see what information I could get from townsfolk."
-
Garvunn nodded once, and wished Bjorn good luck before he headed out the door. (( maybe put mofo here? ))
-
He nodded, biting his lip and considering the options. "We stick to the plan, then. Leave by sunset, likely find the cave by night..With any luck, those vampires will be far too occupied to commit any other atrocities tonight." Garvunn frowned. "I just hope the orc hasn't damned himself by trying to find that cave alone. Can you be ready to leave by nightfall?"
-
Garvunn runs a hand over his head, taking a deep breath. "Alright. Way I see this, you stay here and protect your thane, or" he paused for a moment, mulling over his words. "You can try leaving him in someone's company while we're gone. Like the guards, or.." He waved his hands uncertainly. "You know. Look, how sure are we that it was hagravens who took his daughter?"
-
Garvunn raised his eyebrows. "Kidnappings and murders? Multiple?" A stern look took his face. "Look, if there's information you haven't shared with us, now'd be better than later."
-
Garvunn trailed behind Bjorn and resisted the urge to cast a wary glance behind him. "Thanks to our orc, there's been a change in plans." His expression showed more concern than it did anger. "He's gone on without us. Can you be ready to leave by sunset?"
-
"One of them, aye." Garvunn shifted in his gear, uncertain as to how much he should tell the old nord. "Two others, one of which is a matter I was hopin' to speak to your housecarl about." He gave Bjorn a look, trying to indicate he would rather speak privately.

Jesus Christ, you people, it is a fucking video game. People play on Aurora to enjoy themselves, "privacy" and "privileges" should be a non-issue, and whoever you're roleplaying with is not entitled to know your ckey. Doing so would most likely encourage all kinds of meta, and possibly make players feel like they couldn't speak in LOOC, which especially troubles me because LOOC is the first place players go when they need help. Nursie, i think you've read the post of mine that you quoted. It was an implementation that would allow for privacy, and only remove it for persistent griefers to keep tabs on them I know what you wrote and I still don't agree with it. The staff are perfectly capable of watching "persistent griefers" and they don't need to deal with players trying to be backseat moderators. Staff see what ckey is attached to who no matter what your settings are.
-
Garvunn nodded and slowly stepped inside the manor, taking in the grand interior. "Lead the way, miss."

No, thank you. Ckeys showing in looc instead of character names made it somewhat confusing, not to mention significantly easier to metagrudge.

"Afternoon, miss. I was hopin' to speak to Bjorn about a little change in plans." He shifted his posture in an attempt to appear less intimidating and spares a glance over her shoulder into the manor. "If he's around, that is."
