Garvunn nods appreciatively to the innkeeper and heads back out, making his way towards the manor in the middle of town. Priorities had to be set, and he could get supplies for the trip back when him and his companions had completed their contract. Stopping in front of the door, he hesitated, considering the possibility that Bjorn could be elsewhere. Not having much else to go on, he knocked on the manor's door and hoped for the best.
-
"Three, actually. That discount would do us a great bit o' good." He shares another glance with Talen-Kei, dropping his voice once more. "Once we get our bearings, we can head out to meet him once it gets dark. I'll inform Bjorn." He grins at the innkeeper. "While we're here, you wouldn't mind givin' directions to Silver-Stag's home, would you?"
-
This doesn't make any sense at all.
-
He looked on incredulously as Zahgorim marched off before he had the chance to speak. Shaking his head, he headed to the inn and resolved to speak with Talen-Kei about heading out by night. Bjorn would have to be told as well. All these problems because of a damn orc. He stepped in to see Talen-Kei trying to bargain with the innkeeper. He came closer to his companion and lowered his voice, not wanting the innkeeper to overhear. "Zahgorim's gone on without us."
-
Garvunn switched his gaze from Zahgorim to Bjorn, gazing past him into the lively city. "Restin' for the night sounds good. We'll head out when mornin' rolls around." Whether it was unease or distrust coming from Bjorn, Garvunn was eager to avoid conflict. He was hoping it wouldn't come anything serious. "I'll go with Zahgorim and see if we can't replenish some of our supplies. We can meet up again we the sun rises before we get moving." He adjusted his satchel again, hoping to fill it with more potions and food before the night.

I fully endorse it. Also this.

Garvunn nods sharply, adjusting a heavy knapsack over his shoulder. "Sorry 'bout any confusion." He scanned the man, noticing his unease in regards to the other two and stepped forward, bulky armor clanking with every movement. "I'm Garvunn. Talen, m'self, and the orc here are all companions." He glanced at Zahgorim, making sure he wasn't far behind.

Are medics bound by the Hippocratic Oath, or similar?
witchbells replied to Nanako's topic in Lore Questions
The Baystation wiki has a similar pledge called the Iaso Doctrine. While Aurora isn't purely based off bay lore, I've always referred to the doctrine when the situation came up. Not sure if it's in our canon, however. For reference. -

Garvunn scrunches up his face in disgust. "Hagravens," he spat, remembering his scuffles with the beast in the past. He relaxes his face, and signs his name on the contract. "Here's to hoping I don't need to travel to the Reach."

Lo and behold, SS13 was not created by or for medical professionals. Who would have thought? Just call it trauma IC.

I like this idea. Maybe reduce it to a 2x6 little hole in the wall with two lockers, his cart, and a sink. Maybe a table.

Name: Garvunn Sword-Breaker Description: Tall and broad just as any Nord worth his steel with braided red hair down to his shoulders and a well-kept beard. Wears heavy armor of his own making based on Skaal designs. He'll wear heavy furs if the cold is bitter enough. Primary skill: A terrifying sight to behold when wielding two-handed blade, and an insurmountable force in his armor. Misc skills: Considers himself a master smith. Disadvantages: He's a Nord in Skyrim with imperial sympathies. While he isn't one to start a fight, he doesn't deny this fact when asked. It's all well-known to his kin and shield-siblings that he was born in the Imperial province. Backstory: Garvunn, born and raised in Bruma, at the very least grew up around his kin and learned the traditions of the cosmopolitan Nords. He took to the blade easily, fought hard, and earned a nickname that followed him well outside of childhood. In his adulthood, he joined up with a ragtag group of "knights" seeking glory and adventure. His newfound compatriots soon turned hostile through a mix of spite and distrust in Garvunn's jovial natures, and pinned a murder on him. He was captured while hiking a trail in the Jerall Mountains and stuck on a prisoner caravan headed to Skyrim. A day's worth of travel goes by when the caravan is attacked by Stormcloaks, allowing Garvunn and the rest of the prisoners to free of their binds and escape in the confusion. Now in Skyrim, instead of returning to Bruma, Garvunn took a more difficult path - Carving his own way in the homeland of his people, discovering his culture, and making a name for himself in the hostile province. He's kept himself well since before the war, and has married and had a child of his own.

I'd like to interject and state that discord is objectively better than teamspeak, and we as a people should abandon it in favor of discord. At least, after they implement a few more integral features.

This sounds like a plead for security officers, or rather, you specifically, to receive more room to self-antag. I'm going to try and break this down as simply as I can for you. Security officers have not now or ever been required to stand idly by as someone threatens and harasses them. I only bring up this particular charge because you seem to be ignorant to its existence. In the experience of someone who makes very many threatening comments IC, threats of murder and injury are taken seriously. Even if the threat itself isn't serious enough to warrant brig time, reporting it to a superior could very easily mean consequences for the accused party. Repeated threats over public communications could possibly count of Misuse of Public Radio Channels. Minor Assault also gets an honorable mention, since the wiki states it could be used to prosecute someone throwing threats of minor injury around. Please read this carefully just in case you don't "accidentally" end up misinterpreting it. Slander accounts for insults and misinformation with the intent to besmirch someone's reputation. Misuse of Public Radio Channels can, of course, be used again in this instance if someone is repeatedly doing so over public communications. What it is not for is to make your officer feel better about themselves, and any misuse of it should frankly result in your commanding officer telling you to grow some balls. Regarding your claim about officers receiving more freedom being more friendly towards roleplay, security officers are canonically held to higher standards than most departments. Not only has the entire department received more audits than any other department to my memory, security is in charge of protecting high-priority personnel when the occasion arises, and protecting the entire crew when necessary. This is why you exist, and why you are provided with a large closet full of weapons and armor. Not only would a corrupt officer be thrown out flat on his ass after the first few days, "going a little bit corrupt" is actively self-antagging. I'm quite finished, but for good measure, I'll add this quote.
