I think you're taking this the wrong way. The complaint isn't just to remove them "because it's silly," the main point is that they are unsuitable for a serious, professional workplace with the majority of jobs involving the use of dangerous machinery. I won't detail how getting your hair caught can and will have fatal consequences - a simple google search will show you that. And yes, while some jobs don't require the use of heavy machinery, it is incredibly likely you will be around it during long-term employment aboard the station. In addition to that, it just doesn't look professional. People with this sort of hair typically aren't focused on business or scientific work, they're models and performance artists who place value on aesthetic rather than how practical and professional they look. Which, again, returns us to the first point, being that hair of this length is absurdly impractical will get in your way, and the way of others as way, with lethal consequences.

Yes and no. Having prisoner cryo as something security control is a bad move, due to many reasons that I really don't need to go through. It should be obvious. The entire point of Cryo (whilst it has IC reasoning that essentially just backs up OOC let's be honest) is for OOC reasons to leave the round as that character/leave the game. An OOC mechanic like cryo should not be affected by non-administrative means. Could make it so only mods have access to it and you'd need to ahelp to get access? So prisoner can ask a mod to cryo. But that's dumb. Regular players don't have to ahelp to cryo, as they shouldn't, and prisoners shouldn't need to either. Cryogenic storage is primarily an OOC function players use when they have other obligations compared to the game or simply no longer want to play. On that note, there are some hours where there are no staff on at all.

Honestly, I think "don't influence the vote" is one of the most arbitrary rules enforced on this server, and I remember when it was implemented. It was no better then than it is now. The vast majority of us are capable of making our own decisions regardless of who "influences" us or not. People are allowed to like different things, and I think we should be allowed to discuss the round vote like a civil community. What I do specifically have a problem is the disproportionate amount of complaining that fills the chat after certain round types are voted in. It is a video game, playing nuclear, or extended, or cult for a change is not going to hurt anyone.

Changes since the screenshots were taken involve a few more blue accents on the Skrell suit. I've been informed the Tajaran suit could use some tweaks too, so that'll end up with some more blue too. I updated the in-hand sprite for the security helmet. Refitted suits don't have in-hand sprites; recolouring things is more spriting than I've done in years, so I'm not sure I'm qualified to make them. Oh, gosh, these are beautiful. Can they have a little gold badge on them somewhere? I don't know if it would be the best idea, design-wise, but it could be neat.

Okay, so, you know how fire locks give the air status on each side of it when you examine them? That's what I'm thinking here. Make it so that when you examine stasis bags, you get the health readings of the patient (100% 0/0/0/0 like on the CMC, or something more complex) because it's a liiiiittle inconvenient when you want to know the status of the patient who is in a bag.

If the eyes are targeted, you receive prompt that the science goggles have protected your eyes, with no protection actually happening. Was reminded of this when I was recently peppersprayed.

A welded locker doesn't actually protect anyone from space. I've seen syndicates who thought otherwise effectively kill their hostage in transport because of this.
