  1. I will endorse this on one condition, in that it also includes this little number.
  2. Mice are valid.
  3. We already have medical players using terms like "exsanguination" and "hemostimulent," I don't think this will be too jarring to any of them.
  4. please don't give tajara the ability to purr
  5. I've neglected to respond because of the complexity of the issue. IncognitoJesus had asked me to speak to you instead because he was involved and asked me to inform you that you were suspended. He did this without specifying that you were suspended from medical doctor only for the shift, which was only corrected after you left and the damage was done. I assumed this would settle itself, and I'm really sorry about the clusterfuck that happened.
  6. First of all, I want to make it clear that you were not banned because your actions ended in killing someone else's, or anyone's, character. You were banned because you have multiple instances of chucklefucking behavior and general self-antagging which has resulted in multiple three day bans in the past. This ban will not be lifted.
  7. I'd love to bring back Garvunn and jump in as well!
  8. kittens
  9. I noticed that Luna is scantly mentioned in the timeline (and even then, it's simply referred to as "the moon.") I would appreciate it more if we learned what Luna was doing all that time during foundation of trans-stellar corporations, the schism with the colonies, and how/wen they underwent the mining operations. Another thing I would also be interested in seeing is the return of something from old bay lore, which was the large Japanese population of Luna (they are also not mentioned in the timeline - some expansion on what japan was up to would be really cool.) Maybe making them part of UOE?
  10. This is optimal, if something absolutely must be done.
  11. The detective is never allowed to be in the morgue ever The syringe gun belongs to whoever gets it first. Prescriptions and the CMO's requests are just suggestions, feel free to work on that mindbreaker/space drugs/zombie powder mix. The nurse dresses are respectable and appropriate for any female medical staff.
  12. I think blue is objectively the superior option and I'm not going to explain why for the umpteenth time, because this is exactly the same overblown debacle we had the last time bluesec was implemented. The uniform sprites for bluesec are far nicer looking, it replaces get rid of the god-awful jumpsuits, and the blah-de-blah about color psychology, "red being more aggressive" that's already been stated in this thread.
  13. Let me get something straight. We actually had something, emergency equipment that is found in lockers all over the station, removed from synthetics because of the potential to power game with it?
  14. my favorite part was when richard syion died
  15. yes please anything that diversifies treatments is a+
  16. i am a credit to server
  17. I like her little details! Is that a unity armband?
  18. Pt 2 in "nursie makes medical more difficult fun" This starts with re-naming the fractures we have and adding new ones. Hairline Fractures For the most part, stay the damn same! Oh, except for some delightful parts; • Surgical treatment will not require a bonesetter, just one application of bone gel. This is because hairline fractures are more often than not caused by stress rather than sharp, blunt forces that cause most fractures. • The pain messages will be nerfed or changed to something akin to having a bruise on your character. Hairline fractures are tiny and there have been many reports of people who have gone about their days unknowing until the fracture gets worse, meaning an unattended hairline fracture will progress if left unattended. Simple Fractures What appeared on advanced scanners as "broken" and fracture" are removed and renamed into one "simple fracture." This is your standard "broken' where a bone is severed in parts and must be set and repaired. • Renders the limb inoperable. • Surgery does not change, but moving someone with a single fracture in their skull/ribs/pelvis will not harm them any further. Comminuted Fractures Fun and new! A comminuted fracture is when the bone is splintered into multiple pieces. • Moving someone with a comminuted fracture in their skull/ribs/pelvis will fuck up their organs! Use a roller bed. • Surgical repair will be somewhat more tedious. Namely, you will not need the bonesetter, but you will need to put the bone shards back into place using a hemostat three or four times, and apply bone gel after each. Open Fractures New and fun! Open fractures are where the bone sticks out of the wound. This type of fracture is only caused by significant force, such as vehicular impact or a hard fall. • The most painful! Open fractures give you big large pain messages. • Must also be treated like a regular wound. The biggest threat of an open fracture is infection, clean and stop bleeding with gauze and advanced trauma packs. • Examining yourself will yield a fun You can see the bone sticking out of your [limb]! • New surgery! All in all, it sets out to make the conditions of fractures and the treatment of far more varied. They're all treated differently, appear differently, and are just a little more vivid. and adds some more serious consequences to the game.
  19. As a witch, her practice and "magic" is part of her life. From casually drawing sigils on whatever she's gotten her hands on to secluding back into the library and preforming rites with runes and candles, it's something she does because she believes it has power, regardless of how many "why are you drawing on a crowbar"s she's inevitably going to get. The pocket altar is just a fluff item to explain where she pulls her magical goodies out from so she can preform her rituals. How people react to her casually going about her practice is up to them, whether it earns ire or a witchy friend.
  20. Chacres A large, barbed centipede-like creature found in the scant jungles on Moghes, and successfully transplanted on Ouere. The chacres are territorial insects that grow as large and think as the average unathi's arm. They're often confused for vines crawling on trees due to their dull brown shells, and unsuspecting hunters who grab them for stability invite a nasty surprise - the venomous stinger hanging from the end of it. The venom of a chacres has hallucinogenic properties, and is sometimes used by shamans, but can mean the end of a a reckless forest wanderer. don't click the spoiler if you hate bugs Zanseri Moderately-sized hump-backed creatures that roam Moghes. The zanzeri are thick, slow animals covered head to toe in dark spiny fur. They lumber about on two thick legs with vestigial forelegs. They're herbivorous animals despite their intimidating appearance, with horned faces and clawed toes, but can put up a terrifying fight when confronted by hunters, especially since the zanseri are pack creatures. The zanseri are useless and difficult to care for as pets and generally end up being hunted for hides, horns, and meat. They can be found traversing the wastelands, albeit rarely.
  21. Hippie has sprites for the gloves themselves, we can rip them from their code. I'm going to see if i can sprite a nice box for them.
  22. The first of many medical suggestions, this one starts simple. Remove latex gloves. Latex is no longer a standard in the medical field, due to latex allergies occurring more frequently. Nitrile gloves are the highest quality. They fit as snugly (if not more so) than latex, with the added positives of being more durable all-around, whether you're working with chemicals or a surgeon, they're more resistant to corrosive materials and punctures than latex. Remove boxes of latex gloves and replace it with something that works mechanically like a paper bin, with the ability to pull a pair of nitrile gloves out of it. There would be many in one box in order to support that you should actually dispose of the gloves when you're finished with them.
  23. Ha'rron Large animals that range in size from a grizzly to an arctotherium, they're common in most regions of Adhomai with varying breeds. Vaguely canine in appearance, they have agile, digitigrade limbs that carry them quickly over most terrain, with large, padded claws that protect them from roads and ice. Sharp muzzles and big floppy ears give them a variety of ways to detect prey while hunting, however, they're hunted for their thick pelts and the large tusks jutting from under their jowls. Due to their variety, they can be domesticated with time and care for a variety of purposes and make excellent hunting companions, and larger breeds can be tamed and ridden. Sham'tyr Horrifying flying creatures often mentioned in Adhomaian folklore as devilish, evil things. They look somewhat like imps of legend, with tiny limbs and a snarling, rat-like face. With bat-like wings large enough to carry it's gangling little body, it's capable of soaring high above the clouds to avoid Adhomai's blizzards and have loud, breathless wails that can be heard far down below. They behave much like vultures, only returning to the ground to scavenge and rest for scant amounts of time. It's for these reason they're often seen as bad omens that bring death or terrible weather.
  24. We used to have windows. It would be nice if the windows were brought back, they ought to still have sprites somewhere.
